Days Gone - Episode 1: Chasing Leon, Freaker Nests, and Saving Boozer

Welcome to the first episode of our Days Gone series on Married Gamer Chronicles! Join us as we dive into the thrilling post-apocalyptic world of Deacon St. John. In this episode, we kick off our adventure by chasing down Leon, a key character who holds valuable information.
The episode starts with an intense chase after Leon, a fellow drifter. We manage to catch up to him and recover a map that leads to a hidden supply stash. Unfortunately, Leon's bullets have damaged Deacon's bike's fuel pump, leaving us in a tough spot. We need to find a replacement part to get back on the road. Our journey takes us through a dark and dangerous tunnel infested with 'Freaker' nests. Using Molotov cocktails, we burn the nests and clear the path, showcasing some intense gameplay.
Deacon and his best friend Boozer decide to head north in search of a safer place. However, before we can make the move, we need to find a replacement part for Deacon's bike in a nearby infested garage. In the garage, we find the part we need, but Boozer gets ambushed by a group of Rippers. They burn his arm with a torch, causing severe injury. This intense encounter adds to the stakes and urgency of our mission. We rescue Boozer and rush him back to our camp, but the severity of his injury means he needs sterile bandages to prevent infection. The nearest place to find them is a NERO outpost.
The episode ends with Deacon preparing to head to the NERO outpost to get the bandages and retrieve his bike. Will he make it in time to save Boozer?
