I love how Sweeny is high af every ep
Yeah, he seemed like he was for sure on blow for the Kurt vile & Courtney episode... Like a fun little game of: weed or coke?
Definitely blow and if not coming off a bender of blow which gives the "stoned" vibe lol @@billepperson2662
How do you know?
@@caplippi Usual signs, jawing, incessant talking & excitement/seeming change in behavior from usual, mentions he's been up all night since a gig the previous night and is drinking at 9 or 10 am when they recorded it? I could be wrong of course 🤷
Bollocks, that's just normal behavior for someone who comes from a long line of leprechauns who were driven to the New World because of their tall stature, their annoying musicality, and their provocative walk.
This show is the greatest stuff there is on the whole wide web
Damn this was incredible. Dude is the realest of deals.
Of all the interviews you have done over the years this is the the one I looked most forward to.
Reminds me of my uncle Ray. Absolute legend

it was so great to see this one again. Cowboy Jack Clement is one of the most underrated musicians in all of Nashville. He was the man, as is Sweeney and the gang.
Seeing this channels content again is like seeing a friend I haven't seen in a while, but still love a great deal
Man I wish you had of done a Wayne Kramer episode before he passed!
Heaviness. True heaviness.
GREAT episode, Matt!!! This is exactly the kind of episode I hope you keep doing-getting some underrated and lesser-known or up-and-coming guitarists to talk guitar and play some music.
Rest in peace dear cowboy

Clement related to Mark Twain.
Ever start to notice everyone in music & entertainment was coming out of MILITARY. If not Military The peerage. No regular folks playing music, all pretending to be blue collar working class. Nope.
Bizarre comment.
