    Your vids are amazing! Do you have video on one shots. Im looking for pianos, strings flutes etc.. but i want to play it with single keys and not loops such as just playing a music keyboard.

    You almost never need to use shift button, double press the menu button to get to browser quicker, in fact double press for everything you use shift for is quicker, for example double press 16 level for lad perform

    • @JaeFreshmen
      @JaeFreshmen  3 місяці тому

      its always good to have 2 alternative because i do do both but find shift a bit more efficient

    I noticed you don’t record in global and that you don’t have sequence on, can you explain what the difference between the two settings underneath the BPM are?

    This is another great tutorial as always. However, I’ve noticed in your video tutorials, when truncating samples into chops you never zoom in to the zero line crossing for accurate start and ending points. Doing so will guarantee accuracy on tempo looping. Correct me if I’m wrong.

    • @JaeFreshmen
      @JaeFreshmen  3 місяці тому +1

      not necessarily bro zero crossing is more so to ensure you don't have any clicks, which im not to crazy about as long as it not super noticeable. Now when it comes to tempo accuracy thats more about your counting , so if you don't count your beats or bars right then that will hinder your sample from looping with the tempo.

      @@JaeFreshmen when it comes to how I've always worked on all my samplers that use wave form editing (2000, 5000, Renaissance, Live 2 and Maschine mk1), I find doing this as a technique is more accurate. When I zoom all the way in to the zero line for the start and end points of the sample I eliminate all floor noise recording which insure there's no extra, unwanted noise or space which will hinder an accurate looping. Doing this gives the true tempo outside of forcing it to your own tempo dialed in on the MPC or relying on the MPC to give the tempo. Especially, if your sample is music from a band that didn't use a metronome to stay accurate on the tempo but has good rhythm timing.

    Does anyone know how to Globle " NOTE ON " to all Pad Samples .......so it applies to all sliced sample , ...........rather than having to manually apply " Note On " one by one to each pad sample ?

    • @kymatschool
      @kymatschool 3 місяці тому +1

      yeah. take a blank pad and adjust it to note on and then copy it to a bunch of other pads and save that as a template. Outside of that....idk
