Bro you are the best. There’s no one out there who could explain MPC workflow in so much detail. I learnt a lot watching your videos. Thank you very very much, sir.
I have been watching UA-cam videos on the MPC Live 2 for about 10 months and I have learned more in 5 days of watching yours I like how you take your time and explain it I can zoom in on your screen and see what you doing you're not pushing buttons real fast you're not showing off your showing us and I appreciate it
I totally agree! That’s why I couldn’t get into fl studio. They do stuff but really don’t explain what they are doing. Just ends up being a bunch of stuff
I had to comment again and say, I cannot believe how much fun I am having watching your videos. I gave up my Maschine Plus yesterday and I did not want to look back. This is my third time buying the MPC Live 2 and I do not want to look back anymore, rather stay close to it and have better results and outcomes. I cannot wait to watch more of your videos and learn more! I will also di my best to stay committed to the MPC Live 2. Bless brother.
Thanks for all your really good videos! For me you are the top number 1 choice for all "how to ... " for the use of mpc. You explain quickly . Get to the point and give really good tips. Really thank you and please more of it
This was so incredibly helpful. Definitely bring back the musicianship. I’ve been listening to a lot of Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson recently to stay inspired. Using your ears just makes things so human.
thanks for watching im glad you found it helpful and also heres another video that may help you "5 Sample Chop Techniques You Should Know"ua-cam.com/video/ja6gKk98sho/v-deo.html
I was good friends with Tom the harpist in London for 3-4 years before he started in Florence and the machine. I got married and moved back to Dublin. He then started in the band 6 months later. I then seen him in Gossip Girl that drama series in the US with the band and I was like WTF 😂. He’s done very well as they are great at what they do.
After you switch to note on you can go back to the grid, select all the notes. Then go to tc and select Legato. It’ll extend the notes out so you don’t have to edit the ends.
I literally just seen the one tip I was searching everywhere….. chop by bpm regions. Was always wondering how the hell are they doing that.. cheers Jae
Fam what the software you used to separate your individual sounds in the wave file. Can you attached the link I’ve been using Maschine filters to to isolate a sample . Please send me the link .
@Jae Freshmen I see that it only worked when I had used the plug-ins program, not on a drum program. Thanks. Perhaps you can make a video explaining this. I know some people might be lost on this.
@@JaeFreshmen Yes I looked into it a bit. I play guitar and bass and am looking for a new system to replace my DAW. Quantizing does suck a bit of life out of the recordings, maybe better to just record great loops.
its all about workflow bro sometimes im not just trying to sound unique sometime i like a certain style that goes along with a melody i made , good to have many different creative outlets
I don't get what the options mean when you go to Time Stretch (around 9:54 for example) and you have Beat & Original Tempo -> Ratio & New Tempo. If you could explain what Beat means there
The time stretch Akai uses is pretty primitive compared to other gear out now. So many steps for a mundane task. The best box out there when it comes to warping, time stretching and slicing is the Ableton Push 3. Nothing comes close to it
@@JaeFreshmen bro I've made music before but I just got the MPC live2,so I'm starting a new character in making music,I have an ear,Nottz raw is my cousin,he uses the machine,so please keep doing your videos
Dope tutorial King. What camera are you using? I was looking for a good camera to hook up to my mpc to Aldo get the audio into the camera as well. 🫡🫵🏾👑💯🔊🔊🔊🎯
jae freshman is the best mpc tutorialist on UA-cam hands down.

Looking into the MPC, I frankly are amazed there's no autoslicing as with the Bitbox.
Where can listen this beat? Great work you done !!!!!!
i don't really post the beats from my tutorials but i should ,thanks bro
Its so complex i make stretch on Fl studio and i transfert sample to mpc thanks for help now i understud

How long have you been working with drum machines ! Good work.
the mpc just a few months but been on maschine from native instruments for a few years maybe 3 or 4
nicely done
thanks man
Hey nice vid thanks, where are these drum breaks from ? If I may ask. 😅
I have an old akai studio black renaissance...would this still apply
Have you every used the transpose feature on the sequence or track level. When i try it on mines, it does not work. Idk what i am doing wrong
it only works for midi , if your trying to do it from samples you got to pitch it up from program edit also you should have your tempo synced
@Jae Freshmen I see that it only worked when I had used the plug-ins program, not on a drum program. Thanks. Perhaps you can make a video explaining this. I know some people might be lost on this.
@@CMedia87 it wont work in drum program mode because those are samples not midi , so for your samples you got to change them manually
Can I quantize my guitar recordings with timestretch?
thats not how it works you better off playing it in parts
@@JaeFreshmen Yes I looked into it a bit. I play guitar and bass and am looking for a new system to replace my DAW. Quantizing does suck a bit of life out of the recordings, maybe better to just record great loops.
After extracting the sample, you could’ve hit detect to show you the samples new tempo correct?
I never use drum loops, I’m always using one hits.. I should give loops a shot. Thanks 🙏🏾
