I'm not discounting the information presented here as it is relative and accurate, but the most effective way of learning your kidney function, in a tangible form, is bloodwork and urine testing, specifically... eGFR, Creatinine and Albumin. These tests will show kidney damage/disease long before actual aymptoms appear. If your Creatinine level is high, your eGFR will be low signaling disease. Kidney disease can't be reversed, so if you are at stage 1 CKD you must do everything you can to slow the process by implementing a low sodium diet, quit smoking if you smoke, cut back on the booze, exercise and say no to sweets. Bottom line, don't wait till you have any of these symptoms, because most of of the time the symptoms don't show till you are Stage 2 CKD. So insist on a estimation glomerular filtration rate test along with creatinine, albumin and cholesterol with your regular bloodwork and urine test. I insist on it. A Simple, painless test. Do everything you can to preserve you kidney function.
Some of these symptoms can also be from infestation of H-pylori in you body or other parasites too that cause blockages in the small tubules in the body. Please address this issue too.
Hi Ryan:) Thankfully I have none of these symptoms. I’m on week two of the egg challenge:). I eat a ton of organic mixed greens in a salad with cucumber, red peppers, red onions, asparagus, non-fortified nutritional yeast, green olives, artichoke and pumpkin seeds, chicken thigh meat and oil and vinegar with lemon. Once a week on family night we have Greek bowls. I was told by two different doctors to drink distilled water. Do I get enough minerals with all the supplements I take? Hi Julie, I absolutely love the sound of what you are eating. You have a very healthy diet by the sounds of it. Distilled water can be a problem because it does not contain minerals and can strip minerals from the body. It is good for a temporary cleanse if you are detoxing metals etc... but I would not use it long term. Real mineral water is much healthier. You Should be getting lots of minerals from the foods you are eating however which is great. As long as you are feeling good and aren't feeling faint or tired, you should be getting enough. 💚
hello Ryan. I face sleep disturbance when i take high dose of thiamine 50 mg or 100 mg. It pulls out my anxiety and stress but i am suffering from sleep. I wake up at 2 pm and cant sleep after that. Can you please let me know how to overcome this?.
