Just after reading your comment it felt so right to me especially with this song. Like some kind of engine or machinery chugging along relentlessly. • @Darylrb1983
      @Darylrb1983 3 роки тому +1

      I doubt Alex needs to recover. The answer is right in the video. Rewatch and listen to the tonal differences of the cymbals on his right and on the left. The is more likely the reason he switches sides in this video. To keep the blast going AND choosing to hit different sounding cymbals, it makes sense to switch rather than cross over. It could also be a visual thing but being that he is considered ambidextrous ...well...rewatch it

    • @Hamring
      @Hamring 3 роки тому +1

      @@Darylrb1983 Yeah you're right. But to be fair, it does look and possibly sound like he is near his speed/longevity limit, and reading the description reinforces that. It could even be he specifically set up his cymbals that way for this song so he would allow himself to switch for that part.
      Anyway i'm just discussing because i enjoy it. Doesn't really matter if i'm right or wrong. Just thought i should point that out

    The brutalness of this piece hasn't aged a bit, and you, my man, TOTALLY NAILED IT. best song of Nile ever in my opinion, and your cover is impossible to tell from the original. I loved it, really amazing to hear / watch 😘 bravo davvero. 👏

    It is beyond me how he can keep that consistency and clean on the kicks, the stamina you have with those double kicks is insane and your playing singles too! Epic shit!👌🤟

    Permitting The Noble Dead To Descend to the Underworld is my favorite. Lashed is also a good one from which I have "stolen" several phrasings from and often find myself doing in my own practice sessions.
