    ♥ Frequently Asked Questions ♥
Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason.

I remember learning cursive writing when I was very young. Sometimes it feels like a lost art form because a lot of people don’t use it anymore. Nice little tutorial. ❤

Oh, it's SO wonderful to see someone doing any kind of hand lettering! I used to do calligraphy in high school a million years ago. This brought back memories of practicing letters over and over and over, when I was first learning the various styles. I haven't done it in years upon years. My hands have forgotten it all. It makes me sad. My regular handwriting has gotten awful as well, since I rarely have any need to write anything anymore. Even when I was working in an office, we just... didn't need to write anything. Thank you for keeping this skill alive!

To practice and not take things too seriously. Two very important things to remember. That and to make things wonky and remember that you meant to make it that way. It is a good reminder for planning and life in general. Thank you for the tutorial and reminders. 💙

I LOVE the color + outline, but I struggle to write the letter in one stroke, so it looks all weird 😭 You’ve inspired me to keep practicing, so thank you! hehehehe Happy Sunday, Helen!!!!

I don't think there's any quick fix. It's just like learning to write when you are a little child. You can first learn by tracing, and then you just have to keep writing it over and over and over until your hands become used to it. When I was learning various calligraphy styles in high school (a million years ago) we did row after row, pages upon pages.

Wow! This is so helpful-to see your Tombows glide so smoothly (hard or soft tip); makes me think mine are old and dried out…
I’m wondering if I need to purchase from a store instead of Amazon-not sure how long their products sit, but mine have never written as smooth as yours.

I feel so dumb, but can you take a shot level with the table so I can see the tip of your pen? I feel the brush skipping weirdly and I’m just so puzzled. Do you push with your whole hand or just your fingers?

My biggest challenge with lettering is that I am left- handed- it never comes out looking as good but I will keep on practicing. Also, it's cause I can't pull through the strokes - I have to push a stroke through.

I’m Japanese. / and I want you all to know Japanese letters are 3 ways / hiragana , katakana and kanji mixed in the sentence . And it’s not wanky at all as Hiragana , we learn how to write properly at school .

    • @TheCoffeeMonsterzCo
      @TheCoffeeMonsterzCo  10 місяців тому +4

I'm not Japanese but I was born in Japan! I know there are different alphabets. When I talk about "wonky", I don't mean that Hiragana is wonky. I mean the font style! Just like how English letters are properly written, but you can write them in fun ways for journaling. I hope this made sense!

Cheers ! I love your planning style and stickers . Hobonichi cousin is coming up soon ! I’m so excited !! I wish you can have a shop in Japan as well. To get easily here ! For me !! :)
