    I’m crying happy tears at the 100:1 and Luca. I was at a youth activity this last weekend and a young man arrived and an eruption occurred. His friends were so happy they shouted for joy and ran to greet him. I thought ‘everyone should feel that welcome when they see their loved ones’. When we get to the other side we will experience that shout of joy when we see our loved ones! Love this. 💖

    How sweet was that video of everyone cheering and high-fiving your grandson! I wish we could all give that kind of love and support to everyone we meet to acknowledge that we see them and the efforts they are giving even though it might not be comparable to what others are giving. That video made me cry. I felt their love and his joy. I personally need a cheering section like that as I am finishing up my degree in my 40’s. 😁❤️

    Thank you for sharing the story of the DEATH VALLEY flowers! I grew up visiting my Aunt who lived and worked in Death Valley. I remember how extremely HOT and dry it was, every time we visited. It truly felt like the edge of death sometimes. Thanks for the reminder about the beautiful flowers that I had forgotten that my mother would point out to us. I didn't know about the wax and protection they received for decades, so they could bloom and show their beauty in due time. Just wonderful memories of visiting my favorite Aunt, who has passed and I was able to recently due her temple work. Love her❣

    Love all this SO much! I am going thru a lot!!!! Past 4yrs daily & have clung to Christ even more & His love & powerful atonement! I felt strongly I need to show my inner gratitude on the outside of me. In my eyes, my heart, my mouth. I love Him so much, but I am in pain a lot! This will be a goal.....show gratitude more for Him. Thank you 💕

    I remember a time when I was going through some very difficult experiences. I read D&C 78:17-19 and read “and he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious…”. I said to Father… Seriously???? ALL things?? Even the hard and dark and stinky things?? The Spirit whispered Yes, even those things. That day, I began to thank Father for the opportunity to grow, to learn compassion, to face Him and cling to Him. I became grateful for ALL things and my life changed. Things didn’t get easier but my heart and mind became more focused on the lessons and the blessings instead of the chaos and turmoil. I was blessed 100 fold. I’m so grateful for that scripture. Thanks for the reminder!!!!

      Hi Gina
      I too used to be stressed and worried when tough things were in my path. I learned that being grateful for everything is healing and does help us to endure the tough moments. When something hard comes my way, I look for what I can learn from it and as I look back over my life, I am so grateful for all those trials, and I wouldn't change a thing as I like what God is helping me to become.

    • @QueenMum57
      @QueenMum57 2 роки тому

      @@pamelajack7259Thank you for your comment! I agree 100%. The lessons learned far outweigh the price paid. Father and our Savior are there to lift, guide and comfort. Life was meant to be hard. The level of difficulty depends on the direction your traveling (toward God or away)and the load you carry. With God as my partner, the burden is light.

    • @pamelajack7259
      @pamelajack7259 2 роки тому

      @@QueenMum57 I totally agree too. This year, my mantra or motto is that I will do my best and I will stand back and watch the miracles as God makes up the rest. He doesn't take our burdens as that is how we learn so many things but He definitely is there to support us and make them lighter and easier to bear.

    How many steps up are there in the Temple in Jerusalem? There are steps to modern Temples today. We are in the Nauvoo district. Next time I go, I'm going to count the steps up to the entrance.
    Also, we are district workers there and one night, after everyone had left and I was waiting for my husband, I stepped to the doorway of the assembly hall and quietly began to sing, "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" There was such an amazing feeling of reverence and holiness. It was beautiful.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for great studies with you. Just a tidbit for you: "Shortest chapter in the Bible? Psalms 117. Longest chapter in the Bible? Psalms 119. Center of the Bible? Psalms 118. Facts: There are 594 chapters before Psalms117; there are 594 chapters after Psalms 119. Add those together and you get 1188. Do you know that the center of the Bible is? Psalms 118:8. Isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?"

    I couldn't help but think of that song from a White Christmas (probably because you mentioned Christmas😝). It goes -"if you're worried and you can't sleep, just count your blessings, instead of sheep. And you'll fall asleep, counting your blessings"
    I definitely can relate to being a mom and having my mind start to worry at night, and that I'm doing everything wrong. I'm also grateful for my bedtimes prayers, they help with that mom anxiety/guilt that seems to come at night.

    I love the lesson you teach each week. I have been wanting to make a request for a very long time. When I couldn’t see the decorations during the last two lessons, I decided this was the right time to ask. 😏 PLEASE DON’T STAND IN FRONT OF THE CHALKBOARD AND TABLE DISPLAY!! If you both move farther out to each end of the table I would be able to see the board and table. This will allow me to have time to write very helpful information in my journal. I will also be able during the lesson on the very helpful notes you so diligently write on the board each week! I will still watch your program even if you don’t agree with my request.! 🙂 I am really short so when you stand in front of the table it feels like sitting behind a tall person at Church or a movie. I am constantly trying to look around them. I am always so glad when they change positions so I can get a glimpse of what I am trying to see. 🥺
