I'm "this guy" that Doug mentions at the beginning of the panel. I was all the way at the back of the room in my Hell's Messiah costume. I could not have been more honored. Then when he said Clive would've liked it sent me over the edge. THEN I got a photo with Doug later. Awesome day and great panel. I highly recommend his book. Nice guy.

That story Doug told of how he got the impetus for Elliot Spencer is just chilling. I could just sit and listen to Doug recount his travels and those stories about the creation of the Hellraiser mythos. Thank you so much for the upload. Lovely talk.
He was awesome as Pinhead but he was in a lot of bad sequels. The original is still the best but if they remake it they have to bring back Doug Bradley.

What a wonderful interivew! It think Doug formed the character of Pinhead as much as Clive Barker did and it´s impossible to replace him. To me he is really a "classical" actor and I really could imagine him in any great dramas like Faust or any play of Shakespeare. My first association with Pinhead was one of that Shakespearian tyrants, I think mostly because Pinhead talkes more like on a stage play than on a movie. I also had associations with Patrice Chereaus masterfully adaption of Richard Wagner´s "The Ring" 1976 (yes, it sounds funny i know) . I remember the first time, I heared about Hellraiser I was quite young, around 9 and i really believed that this movie opened the gateway to hell, like the movie was the Puzzlebox. :-D
I really would love to have a good talk with Doug Bradley, but unfortunately I´m from Germany and don´t have the money to fly to USA to a convention, and i am pretty sure that I wouldn´t be able to say anything. :-D

Ahhh Doug.. my favorite horror villain/icon ever, yes Hellraiser started to suck after the 1st 4 movies but the 1st is one of my all time favorites, and even though the rest of the franchise can't hold up Pinhead himself is my favorite, more awesome then Micheal, Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Leatherface ext even if the movies surrounding him for the most part aren't as good as most of the other icons movies.
