Great reading month! They Both Die At The End sounds pretty great. I'm already preparing for all the tears. I read 19 books this month (4 mangas, 3 short stories, 3 audiobook & the rest novels) THANK YOU BOOKTUBEATHON
Hey Hailey, for Gentleman's Guide I'm curious why you didn't say the relationship was between two male characters? You seemed to have avoided saying it entirely. If you really enjoyed it and loved the relationship why not say it's a m/m romance?
I had a good reading month too ! I read 18 books this month. aha I was amazed with myself ! Just finished the first two books in the Jenny Han To All The Boys I Have Loved Before series this month. I am glad to hear the last book doesn't disappoint ! Loved the video !
I'm currently reading Always and Forever, Lara Jean! I've been reading the trilogy for the first time this week! I feel like everyone loves the last one!
Great wrap-up (and congrats on the 13 book month)! I really liked how you did a little review for each book. It made for a longer video, but I think it was well worth it.
Can't wait for your review of Under Rose Tainted Skies :) I really loved that book, I feel like I learned so much about agoraphobia while reading it! But I completely agree that the ending kind of came out of no where and didn't really fit.
I love your videos so much! You were the first booktuber I ever watched and you got me reading more so I'm so thankful. You're so awesome, and still my favourite. Can't wait for your vlog. Canada pride 🇨🇦
I didn't like Finding Audrey, either, but mostly because I actually wanted to read about the event that brought upon her anxiety, and I hated the way her sunglasses came off, but I ended up giving it four stars because I enjoyed her family. Idk.
Thank you so much for inspiring me to start my own book tube channel, j made this channel today and you were one of the book tubers that really inspired me to give it a go 😊
I like what you said about how people treat young adult readers because as a teacher I find that many, if not most, of my colleagues approach curriculum from that exact position. It is very sad that they do not think that young people understand mature and complex concepts.
Hey Hailey! Amazing wrap up! However you forgot to mention that the MC in A Guide to Vice and Virtue is bi and that there is a m/m relationship! It's always important to put a spotlight on these relationships because heteronormativity is a huge social issue today!
I was also disappointed by flame in the mist. I found everything meh including the charactersthe story etc. The best part was learning more about samurai and that culture. Also, I want to red the pearl thief but I haven't read the other books and don't want to as I'm not interested in WW2 stories. Can I still read the Pearl Thief and appreciate it?
Your lighting looks amazing in this video!! I've been in a huge reading slump lately and this video has really helped me :) Love from a fellow Canadian
I listened to "A Thousand Pieces of You" also. 2.5 out of 5 stars. Sad because I was hoping I would love it. Hope you hade a better reading experience then me.😢
Your slum is my success! LOL, the last book I read was 4 months ago, but I want to start reading again... Any good reccommendations? Maybe Coming of Age, Historical Fiction or Dystopia??
sad to say that i didn't read a lot this month :( i have my reading slump but because i watched your video its give me motivation to read again. Hi im from Philippines and your number one supporters. goodjob hailey! :)
Honestly I'm so interested in how you time manage to read so much. I tell myself I'll read ten books each month and then every time I manage on average six :P
Im definitely going to be picking up I See London, I See France. Honestly, everytime I watch your videos I add something to my month's book haul list. You're going to make me broke girl. 😁
I love that you're taking writing seriously and doing your research before you jump into the professional world! Good for you! If you need any help, let me know! I educate authors and I've got tons of connections in the book world and I'm happy to champion and cheerlead you from the side ;)
Can I ask your "reading schedule?" Lol Like when do you usually read? Do you tend to choose reading over internet-ing or going out? Lol I'm trying to get myself to read more!!
I read 9 books this month!! But not all books are great tho ... sadly ... But in August I will read books that I really really hope I will love ... I just need a great book rn .
Read American Street and I LOVED it!!! I think it didn't get as much hype was Bec I think it came out about the same time or around the same time as The Hate U Give came out and maybe the hype of THUG kind of overshadowed American Street? Don't count me on tht tho 😅
Lovely video! Thanks. Also how was Caraval? Because I stopped reading it, before, idk why I stopped reading it but it had to do with the beginning leaving part. But is it a good one?
Heyy sorry if I missed you saying it, but can you read the pearl thief before code name verity? Loved the video, I'm always looking forward to watching your vids :)
I actually sorta "buddy read" American Street with you for the booktube-a-thon and used it for the same challenge (unintentionally, of course...I'm not a stalker I swear 😂) and I loved it! It was so amazing and I couldn't stop reading it. Even when I did I thought about it constantly until I could go back to reading it haha. I'm glad you liked it too! I love your videos btw 😊❤️

Hey Hailey, for Gentleman's Guide I'm curious why you didn't say the relationship was between two male characters? You seemed to have avoided saying it entirely. If you really enjoyed it and loved the relationship why not say it's a m/m romance?

Lys Reads Same!!! I am so excited to read it because it's based on one of my favorite series(The Lunar Chronicles).
Great wrap-up (and congrats on the 13 book month)! I really liked how you did a little review for each book. It made for a longer video, but I think it was well worth it.
Why are your shirts always soooo beautiful!
It feels so good to see you back on track.
Can't wait for your review of Under Rose Tainted Skies :) I really loved that book, I feel like I learned so much about agoraphobia while reading it! But I completely agree that the ending kind of came out of no where and didn't really fit.

I didn't like Finding Audrey, either, but mostly because I actually wanted to read about the event that brought upon her anxiety, and I hated the way her sunglasses came off, but I ended up giving it four stars because I enjoyed her family. Idk.
