- TUNDRA VS RAM -- Tundra Owner Reviews 2023 Ram Limited
How does the Ram 1500 compare to the Toyota Tundra? The previous generation Tundra was made from 2014 through 2021 and it was completely redesigned for 2022 and this Ram was completely new for the 2018 model year. I’ve been a longtime Tundra owner for their quality and reliability but driving this 2023 Ram limited was eye-opening. Take a look at how this Ram compares to both the previous and current generation Tundra and stick around to see what I think of this gorgeous Ram Limited and to see if I would consider switching over from Toyota. - Авто та транспорт
review this vehicle after owning it for 5-6 yrs; then tell us all the headaches assoc with the RAM
I m looking for a tundra or 1500 ram, I will spend 25/30 k maybe a 2014 or 2016
Lets see which will be the best choice
You have to stay with what brought you, i have owned a 07 and a 2012 tundra really loved them both now i have a 2023 toyota limited for 7 momths 6000 miles no issues so far, really love the truck,
Go ahead and buy the Ram then leave the tundra for us
Nah reliability is still #1 for me

@@chrisdrives8204 surely you dont believe that... this powertrain is like 10 years old and still seeing use for a reason.
@@psd.3144 Believe what? I think he was joking
That's actually the Tundra, major recall! Toyota is overrated and garbage!
Ram = over hyped, over rated junk... they have solenoids that uses oil to lift the cams, so if you dont keep your oil fresh, those solenoids wont suck oil through its super fine screen mesh--- which will cause the "hemi knock".... american products are a big regret!
That issue has been fixed. It was also an older issue on the 2017s.
Toyotas are bloody overrated. While they are reliable and durable, they are not as reliable as you would think. I worked for Toyota for several years and they do have vvt issues, their steering shafts wear out prematurely, their frames rot out prematurely, engine sludging is common if oil is not change on time, sway bar links and bushings in the rear and last but not least their cv joints on their front wheel drives wear out prematurely.
youre mostly talking about toyotas made in america! they are cheap, but still better than ford, chevy and dodge!
@@takingoutthetrash1512 No!
These Toyotas that seem to have issues were made both in Japan and America. As a former Service Advisor who worked at a Toyota Dealership, they had several issues, major and minor, especially if they were poorly maintained. However, the known issues with Toyota, such as the oil burning and vvt cam phaser, were quickly addressed by Toyota, unlike the domestic automakers, who stick their head in the sand, when there is a known issue. This kind of service by Toyota, aids in their perceived reliability bc they take responsibility for any known issues immediately at the manufacturer level. Either they will upgrade the part or extend the warranty, generously!
