Thank you! I made one from some smaller paperclip and they work. This will save my finger tips from swelling when I remove the keycaps by hand haha. A little word of caution. If you use wrapped paperclips, remove the wrapping! Only paperclips available in our area were all wrapped. It made the paperclip too thick to fit between the key caps.. I stripped the rubber like wrapping about 1cm from the bottom. I used a nail clipper since it was easier to fit.
sorry i’m a year late, but you can pull your spacebar, i’ve always pulled my spacebar a one side at a time because i hate stretching my pullers to begin with. just pull one side up, then the other afterwards, usually it entirely disconnects with one pull of one side but in the case it doesn’t, you just pull the side that didn’t come up afterwards
I'm trying to expand on this to create a version capable of removing a spacebar. Maybe 4 "legs", one for each corner? Or wider ones to completely go over each small edge?

1'st one did with my hands- works a bit wierd and is round in shape
2'nd one did with my hands and a brain- works as any other keycap puller

Brought 1 keycap pulley from China on eBay for a dollar. Found out my half keyboard is membrane and not mechanical.

I think it's small so I made mine with a 2 cm gap
didnt have paper clips but had some odd wire lever thing in my drawer i used the corner pull method and it works just as well!
i didnt even need to tighten the coil comepletely since i was gonna use it only once it worked perfectly on my apex pro B)
This one is excellent!!! I made myself one by soldering 2 clips and and the plastic part of an USB token for the grip.

since in my school we get air dry clay i can make it just by making the rough shape then covering it with clay

I added some hot glue to the top to make a nice handle aswell

Mine came out looking like @SS, but it works. Coiling is a pain. I use 2 pairs of pliers, one in each hand. Thanks for the video.
