Lytle Creek off road camping Part 1 - Missed the target but no complaints here

The first night I tried to camp at Blue Ridge Campground but the trail was closed. Ended up nearby at Table top Campground. 2nd Day we went to Lytle Creek to camp at a yellow post site. San Gabriel Mountains near the 15 fwy. Lytle creek is a beautiful quick trip I do recommend checking out. #4x4 #campinglocation

Looking at the Cal Fire website and unfortunately it seems Lytle Creek camping areas where hit. They will most likely close the entire trail now. Please check before heading out there.

I go to Lytle Creek all the time. It’s a great place to get away. Looks like you had a wonderful trip up there. I might head up this Sunday. Do you recall what yellow post you ended up hanging out at in the evening in lytle creek
