this was my first trail I did in my jeep gladiator no experience and I took one of the worst off chutes by accident ( always stay on the fire road) ... Made it out safety with pinstrips😂💪🏼
Went to Cleghorn on my 2nd gen 4runner with my now wife few years ago. Wanted to take the fire road just to drive and chill out. There's like 2 spots that have Y on the road. I made the mistake of taking I think the same spot these guys took. I pulled my driver mirror in and road the wall inches away. My tow hitch dragged on big rock. Made it. I'd wish some of these off shutes would have like a sign that say the number of the off shute and difficulty.
There is a rock, with a skull and bones painted on it, at beginning of these off chute, it’s a bit hard to see tho. and that’s exactly what I say in my other video, if you are new to this trail, the difficult part is to chose right or left on some of the Y intersections lol
Love this one man. 👍 Thanks for throwing in details on the area and difficulty of the main and shoots. Good thing you didnt keep a battery powered sawsall in your truck or you might have never gotten the 492 over and out. 🤣
Look forward to seeing them come out! 👏Had to say "the eagle has landed" at 22:06 by the winch hand 🤦♂️, as I think you normally put them down so carefully. 👈
PSA if you look at the front of the center consol on the JL there is a plastic cover under it is a lever with an orange strap pull that until it clicks and it will put the jeep in neutral.
We found it, after We dragged it. Now We know. Every other vehicle, We recovered from this spot, was able to go on neutral and some We were able to drive them down the hill!
19:45 this is really dangerous, that man is in the direction the metal bar and the direction it is being pulled. if it broke or something else like the snatch block, he could have been killed
@@rhinooffroadrecovery well if you are a business, and you were being paid to recover that vehicle then you and your business would have been liable in court. You could be sued for like $1,000,000 dollars! good video though, I did that trail in my Range Rover it was pretty fun.
we passed by the off schout with the flipped jeep and showed up right as they ended the video. then we did the other one that he said not to go down in the beginging of the video and my 4th gen made it altho it got very tricky and scarry.
Wheel's turned driver vs straight, when the rear passenger top hit the rock, driver paniced, nailed the throttle sending the Jeep up that left wall and flipping it over. The key is nice and slow on this one.
@@rhinooffroadrecovery i watched some other videos and see how it happened. he came in high on the driverside wall to drop in passed that big ass rock and rolled it. well now i know for when i do go out there. lol. keep up the good work man. cool videos.
Yeah but if the winch rope snapped or anchor came flying out for whatever reason, there were like 2 dudes standing around it could have taken out. Doesn't seem very safe. Just my 2 cents and cool recovery!
these are fun trails done them all 50 times. These newbies just wreck the place. Learn how to drive off road there is a place called the internet.. these days you can get a slight idea how to drive.

I don’t know if those vehicles have neutral in the transfer case?
That was an amazing recovery.
Only two vehicles and no extra damage.
Terrific work.
They do and also to put it in neutral if its off you would have to remove a small panel in front of the shifter and pull a small rope.

Assuming the box isn’t destroyed.
Good stuff I’m about to check this route out in a few weeks.

Yeah, we told him but He is a bit stubborn! He is set on his ways 😅

Wow who is the guy at 20:00 standing right next to the winch line under tension and then crossing over the winch line? So dangerous!
That would be George 😁
Good to see you back in action Rhino. Great recovery too.
Thanks Man!

Those two off chutes are the sketchiest ones lol
@@rhinooffroadrecovery I think I could have made it where the jeep flipped. Just have to take that shit slow
@@jaredjaster5276 yes, many people make it thru there just fine, but a few dont 🤷🏻♂️
Sad to see a 392 go out like that.

Imagine having a name Jose and you don't speak Spanish 🤦🏿♂️🤣
I did that one and the other off shoots in my 2022 4runner and it was nerve racking lol
I bet lol
very good content
Thank you so much
That Tacoma recovery has made it onto hick hub etc.
Are you talking about the one that got dragged out of the chute? Lol
@@rhinooffroadrecovery
Yep, it turns up everywhere, pretty sure even that Russian Chanel had it
I know what’s wrong with it, ain’t got no gas in it
They say your a wiz at fixin lawn mowers and things
how did this happen i have watched you get several from here still don't know how they get on the lid

Check out Notarubicon's reviews of the chutes.
Ive never been up there but looking at the video im confused how it flipped right there?
All I can say this was the fifth rig we recover from this same spot

How much does a recovery like that cost? How do we reach you?
@Osoriver Thank you Sir.
Idk about winching that anchor over a loose tire like that...
We tried removing it but it wasnt vouching lol

Where is the tacoma video?
I dont get it man just stick to the fire road your still out off roading enjoying your jeep.
What happens to a jeep likes this afters it's towed out? Where does it go? Is there a way to buy them?
They go to the insurance and you can buy them typically from Copart
Too many spotters.
