Guys... Please can you share how much it costs...how many people per site .. how many vehicles per site.. I saw $5 per day... Some places allow 2 registered vehicles per site... Up to 8 people... I checked the FAQ but it was for America the beautiful passes
Well done. Nice and mellow. 2hrs from home, not too shabby. I have a spot up near Angeles Oaks that is pretty remote with little traffic. This one is a good option too if I'm not heading to the Owens Valley/Death Valley region.
Man, this was my first off-road trail ever! I did it in my ex's old pathfinder, that was rear wheel drive all stock! We were able to make it all the way to the top and only got stuck when we moved to the side to left an old 3rd gen 4runner move through. They were going to help us out, but we eventually were able to get enough traction to slip out the rut. Saw the guy drive super fast, driving backwards on that old 3rd gen. That's when I knew 4runners were beasts. I ended up buying a 4th gen v8 4runner. I've been slowly building it up over these past 2-3 years. Lift, all terrain tires, 4x4, suspension goodies, exhaust, light pods, roofrack, raptor lined rock sliders, you name it! I'm basically mostly done with the build aside for cosmetics like fixing the paint job. My goal is to do this trial again. Back to were it all started! I've done tons of trails on my runner, but his will always have a special place in my heart.
Man your in my area I live in hesperia I've been to some of the yellow post sites but some of these places are hard to find. I'm glad for your videos maybe I'll go check some out thank you brother.
3N17 is the road. All trails doesn't recognize the trial is open yet. All trails link is the starting point. 3N17 to Pacificao Mt summit Rd to the camp grounds. Its all marked roads or signage.
Sick video man. Thanks for sharing this experience. I live in LA and I’ve never been to this campground. Looks like a nice spot to decompress for the day. Do you think the road is passable with a Subaru crosstrek? I looked up reviews but can’t seem to find anything on the actual road. Looks like a simple fire road in your video but I know the camera can be deceiving sometimes
Oh yeah I've seen Subarus in most places I've been. If it seems Hairy on a certain trail just stop and there is plenty of other trails you can try. Just get out and explore, that's the best way and I really enjoy the discovery part.
Used to go up there back in the 90's. Great spot. It gets windy, but the view is worth it.
Ive been luck so far nno wind
Thank you, Mount Pacifico has always been one of my favorite places for almost 40 years! Haven’t been there in a while- happy the gate is open again!
Yes go back and check it out if you can! I haven't seen anything that compares to the sunset in our area yet.

Haven’t been able to go camping this year, so your videos have been keeping my brain sane 😂
Oh my goodness, thank you! It makes me so happy to see that you can unwind and enjoy my video. This truly brightens my day.
Thank you for your video
Thanks for watching!

Yes it's definitely a must to stop and check out.

Thank you!
Dope vid man! Hope to check this spot out one day.
You should!

Just up there today. Never put my in 4wd
Happy you seen it. Howd you like it there?
Is there a specific trail name or number for that path you took? It looks like the link is to a hiking trail.
Great view from that spot!

Awesome spot. Do you think a red squarebody would do ok on the trail I'm 22 ft with an Alaskan camper on top
Well just watched part two and got the answer to my question. Truck is getting a new ls upgrade so hope to be up there soon
I think so!
I've done it in a 1984 Mazda pickup. No problem.

How was the light pollution from Los Angeles? I’m looking for a stargazing area with dark sky and “kinda” close by. And not in the Joshua Tree area.
Never mind, I asked half way thru the video. I’m past the 20 minute mark and I can see the answer. Happy travels!!!
its not bad, the camera picks up more light to the sensor.
Amateur astronomers go to Mt Pinos. At 8300’ it’s one of the best spots near LA for stargazing.
what an amazing spot - those are also free?
Youll need a yearly pass for $30 i believe.
Would a 20 foot rv travel trailer make it up ?
I wouldn't recommend it. Are you close enough to check it out first before you take your trailer.
Are you able to have a fire pit there? Or only gas?
I think fire was allowed but dont quote me, call the ranger station for this area and they will know.
Nice video. What drone did you use?
Thank you. dji mini 3 pro
where does the trail start?
Hi there is a all trails link in the description for the starting point.
Is the trail 2wd friendly??
Yes its good for 2wd
Do you need reservation
No just a parks pass you can pay once a yearwww.fs.usda.gov/main/sbnf/passes-permits/recreation

awesome, the road looks decent can i trailor a 20 ft RV up there? is it dispersed camping?
I wouldn't try it, the end is very rutted and kinda hairy in a few spots. You should go for the day and check it out first without a trailer.
