My son gets a girl he’s dating pregnant and there’s just no input from any the potential parents or grandparents? My wife gets pregnant at 47, making it a very difficult pregnancy… nothing? Again, I don’t like abortion, but I can still acknowledge there are cases where maybe it’s needed. Also, don’t tell me what to do with my body, that’s the least American thing possible. And I’m a straight upper middle class white guy. This will not effect me at all, I’d send my daughter to a different country and hire a lawyer if she needed one. And I’m still mad.
I might disagree with abortion in general, but I know bull when I smell it. What if the girl is like 11 or 12? That little girl is prepared to be a mother? Really? Like are you serious? The GoP is heavily ingrained with the later, that both freedom and 'law and order' are intended to support the strong in their freedom to oppress the weak, that laws are something used to benefit them and constrain others. This is why libertarians tend to come up with such oppressive ideas, they view it as protecting the freedom of the strongest to use their individual power over others, with the idea of the weak being able to band together and have power to be 'anti-freedom'.

Thank you!
Just imagine if it DID affect you
I might disagree with abortion in general, but I know bull when I smell it. What if the girl is like 11 or 12? That little girl is prepared to be a mother? Really? Like are you serious? A 13 year old me barely knew how to play a game of spades, but childcare, yup got it.
And most importantly, we are supposed to be the land of the free, except for your own body? We are going to regulate your own body more than running for office to make a decision about your own body? That’s not blatant hypocrisy.
At least you have the self-awareness to feel for others and to think and engage honestly with circumstances that do not cast an absolutely perfect light on your belief. I don’t approve of your position, but at least you considered things in a fair way when you made that decision.
Not everyone can do that.

I always at least try to put myself in someone’s shoes before I judge them in anything. I thought my message made that fairly clear.
Just because I got born on third base doesn’t mean I can’t see first.
