- This song is tuned a bit lower than standard E so adjust accordingly. One of the wildest songs ever written. Cant imagine how he mustered up this masterpiece, but regardless Im happy to be able to play it. Lots of spider chord stuff and some real wild riffs mixed throughout this one. ...and thats just the rhythm... Good luck!

cool. I didn't know about spider chords, I was trying way too hard. I think Jeff Hanneman uses this in Angel of death too, another riff I struggled with that I will try again with this approach.

I hadn't listened to this whole album in like 20 years and just decided to put it on the other day. I was more blown away now then when I first heard it when it first came out.

what's the fill in the song that leads into the last riff?
the F during the intro is done on the 8th fret, not the first fret, otherwise nailed it .

What are the notes that you do in between the chords on the intro?? I know it 2 on e and 4 on A but in between are hitting any open palm mutes on the E ?

Randy Gamez two muted pick scrapes(down/up), 2nd fret power chord 6th string (F#), open E string real quick, 2nd fret power chord 6th string. Play this in between all chords for the open

That part where he does the spider chord it doesn't have to be played the ful chord you can just pick it without the fifth note to make it easier

Great, but the chord in 5:35 isn't D string 5th fret and G string 7th fret, it's G string 7th fret and B string 8th fret. A common misundestanding.
At least you have the right notes but you go too quick and I can't follow you. It seems like you have something better to do than to make a lesson in which case you shouldn't at all
