- In today's episode we are in Mt. Washington, NH. We take the Cog Railway to the summit of Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast. The trip in total is almost 3 hours long. You get an hr at the summit to explore. The Cog Railway is the 1st mountain climbing cog railway. The cog wheels pull the train up the mountain. Click to see our full experience.

Another cool NH location.... I've been on the Cog Railway 4 or 5 times but now you can only have the steam engine if you make the first trip of the day and you get the full sound effects and a face and arms full,of soot.... just like they did it from day 1 when The Cog opened.
Now they have the bio-diesel engines.... they'll get you up the mountain, but its not as much fun.
It's still a must do if you visit the white mountains of NH 🙂👍

Oh my goodness this was so awesome to see. I wish it would have been clear. This is always the way it is when we go to Clingmans Dome we can never get to see because it’s cloudy.

This is the first time I've heard of this place. This is awesome! So far my favorite places y'all have visit is here and The Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park White Mountains. The Smokies have been my favorite place to vacation but I need to go to New Hampshire! 😃🥰 Thanks for sharing y'alls adventures with us!🤗

We drove our Mini Cooper with another group of Coopers to the top and it was a never to forget experience! The higher we got the more it looked like being on Mars ! And the time of year was unbelievably windy and cold….I wish I could add a photo !

It’s cost like $45 to drive up + for each additional passenger $20 more. It also costs to hike. I didn’t have a problems with the charge for the cog. Can’t be cheap to keep all that up.

Are you able to close the windows, and do they have any heat on the train for cold days?
I wonder being up so high if it messes with your equilibrium or blood pressure? Its not like flying b/c you have the plane stabilize inside the cabin. Here you are just out in the elements. Great video. I have heard of Mt Washington and the various conditions that happen way up there.

Thats amazing to literally be in the clouds I would love to experience that myself I've always been confused though why being at a higher altitude it becomes colder and colder wouldn't it be hotter considering its closer to the sun? Trippy lol loved the video!
