    This short is packed with personality, something so many of its peers fail to achieve. It puts a simple, playful spin on time travel, a plot device that many shorts tend to overcomplicate for the sake of coming across as 'cerebral'. The plot is engaging and easy to follow, mainly because of Fripp's natural charisma and the expressive responses his helmet has to things in his environment. Time Trap doesn't put a single foot wrong in its journey from start to finish, wastes no time and is a genuine pleasure to watch.

    Dude that was awesome! Clearly that fellow has no trouble thinking 4-dimensionally. Though it begs the question why when the guy had his hand around his throat it took the form of a skeleton. Apparently the alien can change his position 4-dimensionally but not anyone else. Twas interesting though. I liked it.

    • @rickgauger2895
      @rickgauger2895 9 років тому +10

    • @Demogorgon47
      @Demogorgon47 9 років тому +7

      Rick Gauger Yes but he's being pulled into the new temporal space along with the guy from the future. It means he would have time travelled with him. Or at least that's what one normally would expect. Apparently in this vid time travel only works for the one with the device and he can't bring anyone back with him. Since no one can actually time travel yet we don't really know what would happen.

      I saw the ruins of the Sydney Harbor bridge (or whatever it is called) - but what gave it away was the typical 'Australian sense of humor' thing, and also the complete lack of spoken words, a classic Australian film characteristic... at times. (- Or course Australians talk in their films! But somehow.... not a lot.)

    For the ones that think he lost his arm or his bones, he not lost anything. The arm bones in the future ARE the bones of the future, his bones of the past remain with him.

      ***** No, if he lost his arm in the past the arm will no exist in the future. If what he has grabbed is his present arm, it will have flesh, not just bones. He has grabbed the arm "buried" in the future.

    I am so happy I took the time to watch this. You all deserve a great Round of Applause. It's obvious that you worked really hard on this. I love the fact that even without dialogue it tells the story in a extremely witty, intelligent way. I promise to show this to others. Now you have to promise to keep up the good work and make more :-)

      Jari Komppa yes but it would be so good. would take several maps running at once, with overlaps where the timefaults (timetraps) were set. probability of temporal anomoly creatures (tacs, the incarnations of people and creatures whos existences you erased accidentally - or on purpose, twisted by reality unraveling) leaking into the game grew as you took action to set the crumbling time continuum right, eventually culminating in the main antagonist being generated into the game, the antithesis of the protagonist (sargeant ix) so many weapons, from stone clubs to plasma grenades, and opportunity for anachronistic fun. would be cool!
