Just a heads up about the seams around the base of the pylons where they meet the hull. On the ship they are supposed to be there. Any kind of putty you put there will crack due to flexing of the pylons. Good job putting her together :)
Thank you for the tip, Boyd! I was concerned about it as well. Unfortunately , I believe I messed up and put the wrong pieces together on the pylons... on each one, one side had a \ angle and the other had a / angle. As it was, I couldn't separate them and had to go as it was. I was worried about the putty as well so I used several small layers of CA glue as a gap-filling medium first... then slowly grinded them down . The putty I put on was very surface-level to smooth out that CA glue. It still could crack but I'm hoping that the CA glue will take most of that stress . Definitely was a learning moment! Too bad they don't make the kit in a way to prevent that.....😢
