Since Savior is unlock by playing on Hardcore-Veteran, i would've assumed Corrupted Savior would have had higher DPS than all of the auto rifles given how tedious it can be to obtain (assuming you dont use certain run-saving methods) and having to use 10 corrupted shards to turn into it.
It's still one of the best long guns in the game especially since it has a 50 round mag and fire rate buffs from the mod "if you don't use the mod" which still packs a punch but you lose the fire rate which makes the gun good.
Kind of bullshit to nerf weapon that takes so much effort and resources to unlock, to be worse than weapons that you can just pick up or buy from the shop.
I feel like ranged builds are still in a…weird spot IMO. Without a god roll prism, there still hasn’t been a whole lot of changes/buffs since the DLC2 nerf to crit stacking. I understand the direction they are taking to steer us toward prism building, but I feel like it’s almost mandatory to have a really good prism on ranged builds. Otherwise you ain’t coming close to these numbers with the exception of nightfall and plasma cutter (and C.savior but not everyone has this, including myself lol) Hoping they adjust prism leveling. Yes, it’s an end game grind. But still don’t feel like we get nearly enough exp, even on a Apoc gauntlet run. People are still leaning on hatchery and asylum for exp grinding. IMO they should make exp gains more for not completing boss rush. And then have the bonus be REALLY high for completion (depending on mode). Shouldn’t have to rely on havoc leech just to grind an Apoc gauntlet consistently. Nothing like dying on 14/19 and having the reward be a waste of time. *Cue the violins for the casual* but we got lives, man lol. 7 prisms and 0 incentive to level all of them, unless you are tome hacking on PC.
Hey phemeto- love the content but just wanted to let you know it’s really hard to follow builds on mobile with the current widescreen set up you do. I don’t know anything about UA-cam or uploading videos so take it with a grain of salt but just thought I’d mention in case I’m not the only one
I've done 2 prisms so far, the one in this vid for general gun use and an explosive build one that screwed me on the legendary skill. I want to do a third for a engineer build but god it sucks leveling these up. I'm hoping they do something about it soon cuz i really like the prism but system kinda sucks
You can save scum it even on console. You get 4 Fusions into the Prism, so the level is as low as possible, then you create a backup (beware to not use the 5th fragment slot yet). You DO NOT level the Prism up at all until you‘re absolutely certain it’s at 50. Then, you create another backup so you can comfortably level to 50, assigning the levels **differently** every time you download the backup. You then simply need to complete the last level, et voilà, you now have new perks from a random selection. There‘s a limit to how many legendary perks you can get (they’ll repeat at one point), but it’s at least a pool to minimise the RNG. What I mean by „assigning the levels differently“ is that instead of for example pushing Meta to +10 first, you do it last. I didn’t do it, but you can take notes if you’re confused on which route you tried already. Also, switching the 5th fragment slot around always gave me 3 entirely new rolls. Don’t know how many legendaries are actually in that save scumming pool, but it’s at the very least 12
No Monolith? Even though the sandstorm was nerfed the gun itself was untouched and is much like a Plasma Cutter that doesn't need to ramp while having elemental damage and Exposed. The mod is still free damage as well despite the nerf lowering it.
As a hugs best bet rn is to build a perfect prism with meta, munitions, sniper, gunfighter, firearm charge time/anything else plus sharpshooter legendary, then go for C.savior with endless ammo neck to get back to CoD vibes, or go for genesis with charge speed for playing legolas. The exposed dps increase doesn't outscale both options, keep it for mod/dot spam builds.
But where do they stand to bows And yeah sadly skill based weapons all got nerfed sadly and easy mod and status build and survivability builds are more op It is laughable But well the damage is too much but it is sad if you compare to other builds
I would use the Nightfall but I can’t stand the sight of the fingers wriggling about, make me cringe and my skin crawl. 😅 I’ll stick to the Corrupted Savior for its consistency and my ability to focus to the enemies rather than how gross my gun is. 🤢 Edit: The gun is GREAT, I just don’t use it because of the heebie-jeebies.
I know it's not an great weapon but I could I ask for you to make a video over the Wrangler? It's still my most used primary but I understand it's limitations. It's "gimmick" is pretty much is that it is the middle-of-the pack. Not great anywhere, just aggressively mid. I've spent launch day and all 3 DLCs to theorycraft stuff from the Wrangler. Fire-rate, reload, Ranged damage, crit builds. I'd really love for your take on it in a video format.

They've hit it with nerfs unfortunately. But the difference is so little between the top guns it's still my go to, feels good to use!
@@gormleypeach5809 I feel like it has too few bullets for how fast it shoots

What about blackmaw? Pretty sure it still holds up
Never did honestly, bone saw was always superior in every way

lol would they even nerf genesis even more? doesn't make any sense

Remnant 1 was better. Survival is still way better than boss rush.
Bro strikes again with his small ass graphics. Thumbs down.
