Rumour has it the Switch Pro has a CRT screen to fix these problems. Fav from back in the day was either Time Crisis, or the Die Hard game, which came as part of the trilogy... What a game that was!
Was the game gear technically a CRT? imagine if they did have a CRT in the Switch Pro haha! Not great for portability but a tiny port of Duck Hunt would be worth it XD Was that Die Hard the on of PS1? I remember there was a driving part to it but totally forgot about the light gun part
@@KutskiGaming Game gear was LCD still, but only 160 x 144 pixels and 32 colours, we only really think about LCD as "existing" when we got nice 32-inch HD TVs, small crappy ones were around from the mid-80s! Die hard was on the PS1, I'd bloody love a remake of it, such a great game. If I remember right, 1 was a third person shooter, going through nakatomi, 2 was the light gun and 3 was driving around finding the bombs. Three games on one disc, would all be bloody DLC these days 😁
Dayyyuuuum, don't think I'd have the patience to play this for more than 5-10 minutes :O Awesome review man and cheers for experiencing this game for us
hahah all good mate! it's not a complete train wreck. its playable, but my frustration come from the fact I can see a solution to all my problems with the game and kinda blows my mind some of the design choices 🤯
@@KutskiGaming Have you played Untitled Goose game? I've been thinking about picking that 1 up for a quick laugh & some silly fun haha :D P.S sent ya some emails, all good if you're busy atm
Is it just me or did they update the reload/calibration thingy? Tried not so long ago and the reload button did calibration at the same time but now reload don't calibrate gyro sensor any more.
Anyone using the guns that come with it?? Just realised at the start calibration screen, if you press A it changes the option from joycon to gun! Like a totally different game now and completely playable!
I'm not 100% sure, but if it is at all playable it would only be if you have actual detached joycons bluetooth paired to the switch lite. If you just have a Switch lite I don't think it would work at all :(

Looks like a cool arcade game, but definitely, if the controls aren't up to it, then it's pointless. Shame, as it looked like something my daughter and I could play. Good work Kutski. 👌💪
honestly I still think its work picking up in a sale for less than a fiver or something! Controls are perfect, frustrating at times in fact, but its playable and especially for young kids aren't going to notice that sort of thing and will probably have a lot fun playing together :)
I was thinking the same thing. My 8 year old daughter and I are big into playing Nintendo games together. I’ve been searching for a good rail gun game. We have Wii, WiiU and the Switch with hundreds of games. Not one of the them are rail gun.
Thank you for the review. Sadly there are not too many of these games for the Switch. What a wasted opportunity. I loved House of the Dead and Virtua Cop and Gunblade NY and Time Crisis. Too bad we did not get more games like this for the Switch.
get Assault Chainguns KM for switch. its like Gunblade NY . Sega is so stupid for not releasing and porting other games to the switch. Especially Gunblade, and a virtua fighter collection.
Just got the game for 5 U.S dollars on sale to add to my digital light gun game collection for Switch. I figured on sale it’s worth adding to my massive back catalog of 500 plus and counting digital games. 😂 Switch gaming forever! 👍🏿✌️
I want all these guncon games to come back, with toy guns to shoot the tv just like the old days. Someone make a console just to rerelease all the old on-rail shooter games built in. Certainly a collectors item like the tiny NES Nintendo shoveled out.
The problem is the latency / delay with modern TV, it’s not possible for a light gun to work in the same way it would have been back in the day. Check out the Sinden light gun. That seems like the best solution but pretty expensive and looks like it could be messy to set up. But I agree if the Sinden guys could licence all the games and make a plug and play console, I’d be first in line 😄
@@KutskiGaming I've got a lightgun that has 4 sensors you place around the tv. Works pretty well. I have a G-Con 2 which came with Time Crisis 3. Not functional, obviously. For the games to work I use the EMS TopGun 3 . Works for the PS2, and PS3, not the PS4. Back of box says works for XBox and PC too but neither of those I've tested it. My bro had to get a real gun license to get this into AU. How mental is that? XD
@@Kindlesmith70 ah cool I think that is probably similar to what I was talking about. the Sinden draws a white boarder around the game area when the camera in the gun uses that to relay the targeting info. Ahahaha, thats crazy about the gun licence things, must be realistic looking XD

Nice! I only saw the game in the e-store. Did not realize there was a physical released with guns.
Thank you just brought it with the guns and was about to take it back
recommendation of similar games on nintendo switch
House of the dead remake is coming out next week! I’m hoping that nails the controls because I love that game
Nice video review and editing! You should do a team up with Guru Larry!
thanks mate! hopefully one day! Love Guru Larry, funny guy haha XD

honestly it's still worth checking out if the price is right, just know it's rough around the edges with the controls :)

I just bought it yesterday with the guns...and it's worse it's very drifty and frustrating 🙏🏽
If anyone has played this game, can they help me to find the fourth wheel at level 22 please?
Dang, I like the style of graphics. I was hoping it would be a good game. How sad
yeah really feels like a missed opportunity :(
Want to solve this?
Buy Alien arcade guns.
wtf they don't even shoot back. ridiculous
Best gun games are in vr like pistol whip
