Badazz Love it! I bought a brand new, black 2003 Marauder in Dec '02 and started modding it immediately. Too slow (high 14s) stock. Got it down to 12.9s N/A then sold it. Never did put a S/C on it, but that's what those 4.6 Modulars need! Wish the 5.0 Coyote was around back then. I miss that Marauder! People would always stop and ask "What is that!?"
@@tecmotiondyno We used to call it the LEO effect. People would hit their brakes and slow down whenever they saw my Marauder coming by. Lots of them thought that I was driving an unmarked State Police cruiser....until they saw the polished 18" alloy rims and shiny exhaust pipes! 😁
He should run 2 alternators.. he had enough battery power to do it lol, also a lot of the high output alternators aren’t actually high output so I suggest he test how many amps it actually has.
He gets these alternators custom made, but he’s sure had a lot of trouble with them. There is some over-the-top electrical stuff on this car, that’s for sure!
Joe respects you mathew, you can tell how in the manner in which he says your name. That to me is more awesome than the this story of the car 👍🏼 , it's as rare as this build.
I’ve known Joe a long time. I’ve done basically nothing on his project but it’s a really incredible build that I think deserves to be seen outside the Calgary area. This interview was very impromptu - I had a rare opportunity at a car show where they weren’t playing music and I figured I was going to get 60 seconds on the car for a short but it turned into a little more of a profile. Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Yes, I have a bunch of blanks but have been swamped with summer stuff. I am hoping to have a little time this week to finish the blanks I have. It’s a bit of a slow process because I actually bench install every one of them on a distributor and check them to be sure you are getting a quality part. I did get smoke gray vent pods back in stock a week or so ago finally! If you need more than one, message me on Facebook or Instagram (@tecmotiondyno) and I will finish some on an emergency basis.
@@tecmotiondyno thank you for the reply. I want an adapter very badly. I appreciate your quality control efforts and making sure they are perfect for sale. If I may ask, what is a vent pod?
@s2_eleven551 - I just finished boxing the second last finished one, and there is indeed one left which you could order. Additionally it looks like I have at least 10 blanks printed, and I am hoping to have time to get to them later this week because I know I am getting low. A vent pod is a part that allows you to install a gauge in an AC vent by replacing the original vent with a vent gauge pod. I make a line of them covering Mustang from 1987-2014 and 90-92 Mark VII. I also make a system that allows you to mount a Holley 3.5" touch screen anywhere you can put a 2 1/16" gauge, which pairs very nicely with the vent pods when you use a Terminator X in a Foxbody for example. I'm not a big fan of estimates myself, and I know what it takes to actually run a mid 9 second pass. It's a pretty incredible build, but an estimated track time is just a really just a guess, and usually an optimistic one.
It’s an over the top car for sure, and not the kind of thing most people have seen. I really have nothing to do with the project but I know Joe and I get a kick out of his build. Hopefully you guys do too.
Thanks for highlighting the differences in pronunciation and usage of language throughout the English speaking world. Just be thankful that I didn’t refer to your hoodie as a “bunnyhug”!
This Marauder is undoubtedly the most extraordinary one ever built, and it's a thrill to see it in action. Great video, Uncle Joe!
I agree - it's one of a kind!
Great guy and great car!
Amazing 🔥🔥
What an absolute beast!

I’ve known a few guys with them - half the time at shows people would ask if it was a cop car! 😂

Are you guys going to make more of the Ford TFI adapters soon? There is only one left in stock. God Bless Canada

Seems like it is way over built, perhaps that is a reason it took 2 years to get the tune right. Thanks for the video.
