This is the place you really need to be careful in when purchasing a new home. This place will sweet talk you into going for upgrades on every room and try to get you to buy all non included appliances through the design center and just add the total to your loan...ouch...home depot or lowes would be a better choice on appliances or even costco...floor decor would be a good option for flooring as well vs the design center...do your homework before dealing with any design center...a buyer can save thousands of dollars by not using a design center....just a heads up....

What is the cost to make the kitchen cabinets taller? Closer to or up to the ceiling?

How much does it cost for the built in double oven upgrade option? Im assuming that comes with the cook top option.
So are you paid by the builder or client when buying a home? What’s the average commission and is it negotiable? Great content by the way. Have not seen any Vegas Utube videos by realtors offering this service.
Hi Jerry, the builder(seller) offers a commission to Realtors who bring a buyer. It doesn’t come out of the buyer’s pocket.
Been looking at houses on your website. I noticed they only offer like 4 options for flooring, cabinets, counters. Is this typical per each location? Or do you have more options than whats shown on the website for that community?
Every community is different, you would have to ask your Realtor what options there are
The design studio where I went here in Houston Tx doesn’t have that many options for cabinets 😢 but I still loved the experience I had to be able to pick those details ❤
We are going to studio tomorrow in San Antonio and they don’t have this many options. The free counter tops are laminated. There is no free granite countertop options

how do you ensure these builders are not cutting corners. I've heard horror stories about new build homes in Las Vegas being terribly built by this builder
3rd party Inspections!
Don’t buy a kb home as they are hiding shady work and it shows when they won’t allow you to have a third party inspector to inspect your home and does so by claiming that if the inspector goes into the attic or walks the roof it now voids the warranty of the house
Here in Vegas Kb has never denied an inspection. Also, our inspectors wouldn’t go on the roof, we use drones nowadays
