I wish these were the upgrade options in Florida! Im preparing for my design studio appointment tomorrow, thanks for the video! The home we chose comes with laminate countertops so to upgrade to quartz its about 5K 😳

Thanks for these tours of the design studios. I am thinking of buying a new construction home by Beazer Homes. I would love to see a tour of their design center. From what you have seen by builders, how much does it usually cost to do a whole home (minus the bathrooms) in luxury vinyl planks? Would love to know your opinion.
It's quite expensive, there is usually a 5k extra charge because you would be doing the stairs. It also depends on the material and sq footage of the house. I wouldnt be able to give you an accurate quote

Thanks Jack. We are from SOCAL and went to Landings and Gardens @Inspirada last December to tour the house. We loved the 2089 Plan. The base price we saw was $409K. Do you know more or less the cost of lot premiums? Do all of the house has lot premiums?
Lot premiums are about 20k for those communities
Kb just told me 25k+ for lot premiums 😬

Thanks for the insight as this is very helpful! I’ve been thinking about it and the add-ons go up very quickly. Any upcoming new builds you recommend? Hoping for around 350-375k total after upgrades, closing, and lot premiums.

This is doable in Davenport, FL where we just bought. We ended up at $395,000 at contract which included a few upgrades and the lot premium. However, there were 2 floor plans less expensive then ours in the area.
They have some building in Jacksonville Florida now selling

Do you know if they allow to use a floor plan the use on a certain community in another community?

Thank God we bought our new home and all we had to do was pick carpet and tile. Times have changed. Having to deal with a design center can be very overwhelming where the sales people try to talk you into items that you really don't need, and they tell you to just add it into your mortgage payment... one could end up with a very high mortgage payment thanks to these salespeople. Good for KB I guess....if we ever decide on buying another new home, I would use Home Depot or Lowes for carpet and tile. It would save a lot of money just on that alone....
What happens if we’ve picked out flooring that KB no longer use?
