    I have been following your journey for this whole year that you have been on T. Now, watching this one makes me feel so good. Good, because I can see the change in you, you are confident and comfortable. Also good for me, because I have struggled with similar questions, worries and hopes and now everything starts to look clear. I am gonna trust myself and go for it. Thank you for all of these videos.

    Thank you for uploading these videos. I'm an agender person (who also doesn't identify with the word "nonbinary") who's pretty much decided to try low dose T. These videos were very honest and thorough and helped me a lot. Appreciate you.

    It's been nice to watch your videos over this year. You seem to be in a good place now! I've really appreciated how much you've shared with your viewers. It's really helpful information. I'd be interested in hearing some of the other work you've done to help with your anxiety.

    i've been on low-dose T for about a month now. roughly 25 mg per day. i have increased appetite, firmer muscles, more energy, and i think just a better mood overall. the increased appetite is what's wildest to me. it's such a different sensation and feels way more animalistic than before: MUST EAT NOW. the same goes for sex drive and that sensation. the improved mood could also be due to my new anxiety meds + better weather. i have always felt tremendous anxiety around any life changes, good or bad, so i am taking it very slow. like you, i fear over-masculinizing myself and losing some features and assets. so, i'm just taking it good and slow. i know this is what i want, but i am allowing myself space to go back and forth, and leaving a wide enough margin for me to be able to "go back" to fully presenting female, should i ever want to, but i think that's just my anxiety talking. but who knows what future me wants, so i'm going slow, for their sake. lol.

    What a lovely video! Your videos are so helpful. I know its not trans related but Would love to hear about your journey working w Museums

      Yes! It's been kind of a winding journey. I studied art history in undergrad and interned at the Chicago History Museum in the archives department when I was in school. After that, I worked at an art gallery in Chicago and did tours, some exhibition research and writing, helped with public programs, and did admin work. I'm an education coordinator at the Adler Planetarium now, and most of my job is program development and running our open art studio. Museum work is definitely a long game and it can be exhausting sometimes, but it's also pretty rewarding. If you have more specific questions, let me know! I may also make a video about career stuff in the future.

    In your experience, did a low dose of T change your mood at all? I'm now on a (very) low dose myself and I've noticed some mental health stuff getting worse and I'm not sure if it could be T-related.

    • @jonahradeke
      @jonahradeke  2 роки тому +1

      It totally could! I had really bad anxiety and panic attacks while I was on a low dose. Once I upped to a standard dose, things got a lot better for me mentally.
