Amo essa canção. Vendo um vídeo da campeã do Canta Comigo de 2022, acabei descobrindo que a Kate Bush se inspirou no livro e fez a música. Assisti o filme e me apaixonei! Tom Hardy lindo como sempre e numa interpretação maravilhosa! Não consigo parar de ver esse clipe!
Had no idea who Tom Hardy was until I saw this adaption of my favourite book 6 years ago or so. I couldn't imagine a better Heathcliff. He is a terribly hard character to play. Incredibly complex. So glad I found this AND Tom Hardy, because I have enjoyed almost everything he does.
Tom Hardy is an excellent actor. But I am afraid he cannot capture the true Heathcliff. Ralph Feinnes gives the ultimate performance of Heathcliff. Heathcliff is evil and cruel. I am rereading the book now and finding scenes that simply do not exist as well as lines that were never spoken.
@@pjsmith4369 I too noticed scenes and lines that they should have implemented. But I don't think Ralph did a better Heathcliff. I don't think he gets the younger Heathcliff, and I think that part is essential for the whole story to make sense. Heathcliff ends up evil and cruel. Before that he was a boy who was abandoned over and over. His bitterness and hatred in the end wouldn't have made sense if it weren't for the start he got in life. He was always a bit bitter and jealous even as a child, but he was also balanced, it's after the last significant abandonment that he flipped over. I think Tom Hardy did that transition the best. But I think it's really interesting to hear other people's take on it:)
Tom Hardy captures the broodiness and menacing temper of Heathcliffe perfectly and its so good to see the clips of his version of it set to Kate bush's brilliant song.
I don't understand why this vid doesn't have more likes by now.....It has a lot of views, and it'sone of the best tributes for this film....You've left them speechless, I guess......Good going......Well, I really enjoy this one.....I've watched it .....more than once over the years.....Cheers, dear....

Interessante notar que a maioria dos comentários sobre essa música/clipe é de brasileiros. Não só nesse video, mas em diversos outros. Acho que tem muito a ver com a música ter feito muito sucesso no Brasil, ainda assim, me pergunto sobre as razões sobre isso. Talvez seja nossa cultura na época, como o romantismo era muito intenso. Hoje em dia isso não existe mais, eu sinto muito pelas novas gerações, que foram vítimas de uma degeneração proposital promovida pela ideologia socialista, isso mesmo, o socialismo é o câncer de qualquer civilização, quem duvida, estudem e saberão do que estou falando.
