- beach metal detecting Barry south Wales what the hell did I find .was Rob random planting stuff on my beach lol @RobRandom ROB
I was using the makro multi KRUZER ON this quick hunt just a hour and 30 mins on the sand treasure hunting
and I didn't find any 2p @SouthCoastDetecting southwould be disappointed lol

there is a bigger beach the other side of the rock face just as good .

Wtg mate wish I found that sign I was there Friday for 7 hours and sat for a few found 2 rings and good money ,Barry beach yesterday too windy I didn't last long hope we meet up one day brother and find that ring with the ashes in

@@tidytreasurehunter1828 wouldn't it be nice to find that and return it, well that's it I've finnished early I'm off to beach soon, also went to Barry war museum sunday and located all the USA ww2 camps locally love to find something ww2 to donate to the museum there ,what an interesting historic lesson on Barry I had ,great little place, anyway all the best lots of love with the finds

My local. Was there the other day looking for the ashes ring. Bottle tops, iron and 1p bah. My Garrett doesn’t like the wet lol.
Will go back soon you never know the sand moves about . What Garrett have you got
If you can upgrade the Garrett Ace Apex does a fantastic job on the wet sand.

@@marjoriedooley1096 if you turn the sensitivity down 3 off the top it will work a bit better on the wet sand no need to have sensitivity high when detecting on the beach

I just Google the laws Portugal. Metal detecting is officially prohibited. But there are treasure hunting clubs in Lagoa and Portimao districts that obtain permission to use metal detectors. Plus, it's very rare that beach search is allowed by special permission from authorities (for locals only).
