They said they want to avoid taking the tests because it's too hard to avoid spoilers, like all the fellow characters you get matched with from future books
So fun fact in the book Severus is actually unconscious from Harry's attack during the werewolf scene. I think having the big change of him protecting the trio was a great call. He's more...one note in the books since it's all from Harry's POV. The films show a more well rounded Snape.
I think I’ve mentioned it in every intro of the series but I’ll comment just to clarify. I have seen some of Harry Potter but it was forever ago at a young age. So there are certain things I still remember. (Like Dr. Lupo haunting me as a kid)
This movie always sticks out in my mind, the bus scene in particular because of the DVD's menu that would be playing after I woke up from falling asleep to this movie when I was younger. Just coming to, hearing that bloody head chatting shit and the music is so nostalgic to me because of that. A lifetime ago it feels, but arguably still magic. Can't be certain, but usually small bites of food in a scene tend to indicate they had at least a few takes to get that scene how they wanted. After a while chowing down on a bite every time you have to have another crack at it gets old pretty fast. I've heard actors like Leo moan about eating scenes because of that. So there is a good chance Daniel nibbled the chocolate because he'd already had like 4 bites of it in the last 5 minutes.
Hey what a coincidence! I've been going through the Harry Potter audiobooks having never read the books or watched the movies and am currently on The Prisoner of Azbakan.

Snape was the one protecting Harry all along… he did so many things to save Harry throughout the series. When Harry’s broom was being tampered with in the first movie, which could have killed him, Snape was the one uttering an opposing chant. In the second movie, during the duel scene with Draco, knowing that Harry doesn’t know any blocking spells he whispered into Draco’s ear to use the snake spell which doesn’t require blocking. When Harry is put into the Tri Wizard Tournament, Snape had his class work on antidotes knowing that somebody is clearly trying to kill Harry. He also pleaded with Dumbledore to keep them safe in return for joining Voldemort’s army as a double agent and he protected Draco’s soul from being split by killing Dumbledore. The only reason they show Snape as what Neville fears most is the typical “scary teacher” trope and also Bellatrix wasn’t introduced as a character in the movies yet so that wouldn’t make sense. Snape was the MVP all along, having to put up this antagonistic persona and isolate himself so that he could protect Harry as much as possible because of his love for Lily. Oh and when Snape cast a doe to help Harry find the sword of Gryffindor. Now you tell me what made him a bad character? If anything Dumbledore was worse because he knew Harry had to die and in the words of Snape “you’ve been raising him like a pig for slaughter”. As much as I love Dumbledore, he was very manipulative and had selfish intentions. Even just by asking Snape what he would get in return for hiding Lily and Harry. Or when him and Grindelwald were willing to sacrifice muggles in pursuit of what they believed to be “the greater good”.
