In the book he didnt use lumos at home, you were correct it's not allowed. He also did get in a bit of trouble for blowing up his aunt, he also got blamed for dobby using the hover charm on the dessert the year prior, the trace that's on him couldn't tell he didnt use it.
Snape was at Lupin's office with today's dosis of the Wolfbane Potion, which he brew on Dumbledore's request for every full moon. Lupin of course had dashed off- leaving the map unwiped on his desk. Hence why Snape rushed to the Shrieking Shack.
Damn near! I'm partial to Order of the Phoenix (love me some Gary Oldman as Sirirus 💜) but this one is probably objectively the "best" one as a standalone film, in terms of a cinematic experience and the amount of entertainment and joy you can get from a movie. I kind of think of the series as a whole experience more than its individual parts, but anyone who doesn't think this movie is fire is sooooo wrong. Some say there are no wrong opinions, but that one is dead wrong. 😂
Funnily enough, the two brothers who I'm pretty sure are by far the biggest Harry Potter UA-camrs ranked this as one of their least favorite HP movies.
The potion that lupin can take doesn't stop his transformation into a werewolf, it just makes him more in control of himself. To add onto the map, them creating the map is also the reason it insults Snape. In the book Snape was constantly dropping hints about werewolfs which is why when Lupin missed his first set of lessons for the year Snape went right to Page 394 and taught them about them.
At 1:04:35 you were wondering about Sirius' clothes after the werewolf fight. An animagus can transform into an animal with or without their clothes. If they have their clothes on, they'll appear bigger. Pettigrew has probably had the same clothes since the day Harry's parents were murdered, that's why he decided to ditch them when he escaped :) 🙏🏾
My favorite movie in the series. The directing, acting, cinematography, score, story, everything comes together in this movie perfectly. Especially the score which is John Williams's last work in the Harry Potter franchise and his best between the 3 and personally the best in the series.
If your down with extra homework theres a fan fiction that starts at the end of this movie called "the plan of the murader." Its not Cannon, but is a great fan fiction that spoiler alert kills valdomort at the end of the 4th year so the kids can finish school like normal kids with no death threats. Love the original story but some of the fan fics are good as well.
After James death, I knew from somewhere it is the first time again Lupin can spell the patronus in the train. Patronus can be spelled from the best happiness memory. So on that time, Lupin is so happy meeting Harry. In weak state of patronus, it looks like a shield like Harry has next to the lake. But, if the patronus has a shape, the patronus is so strong. The shape usually is a shape of animal. James is a stag, Harry also is a stag. Lili has a female deer, Snape also a female deer. Weird? You will know at the very end of this serie. 😅
@@erikamanzano338I don't know about that but I know that if you love someone so much your patronus will take the form of their patronus that's why Snape's patronus is the same as Lily's
@@erikamanzano338No, they have no choice over it, in fact, just like with the sorting hat, there’s certain traits a person has that determines it, which there’s even an official test irl that tells you what yours is Mine is apparently a snowy owl, same species as Hedwig But it CAN change, if the person changes in general, or, in the case of Snape and Lily, their affection for someone else is so great that their patronus either becomes the same as the object of their affection (Snape getting the same as Lily’s), or complements it (Lily’s being the female version of James’s)
This is the only movie in the series directed by Alfonso Cuaron. He directed the Sandra Bullock starrer Gravity and the Oscar winning movie Roma. I love his directorial style so so much.
Actually, Harry was at the Leaky Cauldron for at least a week. A full moon is every 28 days, just like a lady's cycle. I believe the two are linked. When Harry saw the Stag and who created it, he didn't know about time travel. Plus, he had been told many times that he looked like his dad and his vision probably wasn't that clear, so of course that was where his mind took him.
I'm quoting all the iconic lines with you Erika lol. Do you play the Hogwarts Mystery game?? It's the only game I've been able to play for years without getting tired of it, I think you would enjoy it
@erikamanzano338 it's super fun. You enroll as a student and go through quests and stuff. You can duel and play quidditch lol. It's set before Harry's time, around when Bill Weasley was in school
What a patronus forms depends on the strength of the wizard abd the spell. Harry's is always a stag. They just didn't spend the money on the extra cgi to show it more than once in the movies. You will find out why the Potter family in a later movie.
A bit of criticism: The movie's volume is too low, getting overpowered by the white noise in your background. Not sure if it's done for copyright reasons, but makes the dialogue pretty hard to hear at a lot of points.
Harry did not end up with Hermione because Rowling (the writer) wanted everyone to end up in the Weasley family. I believe Rowling later changed her mind after writing the books and said something along the lines of thinking that Hermione should not have ended up with Ron.
To the girl on the right please stop telling the movie by saying phrases that you clearly already know are about to be said it takes away from his natural reaction just let him watch it 😂you do it multiple times throughout the reaction
Haha, sorry, I just love these movies so much and can’t help myself sometimes! 😅 Also, the guy on the left confirmed that they don’t affect his reactions, so all good! 🤷🏻♀️😊
I appreciate you both and the feedback! We have all HP movie reactions recorded so there’s not much I can do about those at this point, but the critiques are noted going forward 🙏🏼

The most artistic film in the series, and best story even in the books.

So. Many. Questions 🙃😂 Thank you for watching with us!

They changed filming locations so that’s why the Whomping Willow is in a different spot.

Only the 1st two movies had extended editions of which you saw both.

Thanks for this! Can a wizard/witch choose their patronus? Because it didn’t seem like Harry chose, but I always assumed Snape did 🧐

The stag is a fully realized patronus. It appears as an animal.
