Nice tips about the cabs. We walked (I rolled in a wheelchair) from the ship to Margaritaville, it was 20 minutes for us. We loved Margaritaville in Nassau.
The United States issued a level 2 travel advisory to Nassau, Bahamas 3 days ago, the day this video was posted. Very informative video about this cruise port.
Wow! I was just about to book an excursion, but this looks fun! My mom can walk, but I use a wheelchair for her for better mobility (for me on long walks😅). Is this place wheelchair friendly?
We did the same thing last year, but we walked to the resort and back. We very much enjoyed the resort and will probably go again. Our only issue was that we had fraudulent charges on our credit card that happened on the same day we were there using the card at Margaritaville. I have no direct proof that the fraudulent charges are directly connected to our visit, but that’s the only place we used the card on that day. Even with the credit card issue we will probably give it another try; we really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we’ve had a couple of credit card issues on prior cruises. Thank goodness we use credit card companies that are very responsive to fraud claims.
Hey guys, I will be in Nassau in November with Carnival Cruise Lines. I have never been to Magaritaville Resort, but I am convinced after watching your video that I want to try it. QUESTION¹: I am a healthy older man and can easily WALK TO THE RESORT if it's only 15 minutes from the Cruise Port. Is it a SAFE walking area (sidewalks), etc. to get to and from there?? QUESTION²: What was the "Day Pass Cost?" Thank you in advance. KeeKeep up the great work. 😎⛹️♀️🚴♂️🤸♂️
I would say when the ships are in port and there are plenty of people around, it would be safe. The sidewalk back-and-forth from the port to Margaritaville was fairly busy. Regarding the day pass cost, we paid for a cabana, so not sure what the current price is for just the pass. However, if you’ll check resortforaday dot com, you can do a mock booking and see what the current price is. Have fun!
Another great video, y'all! Keep them coming! Would love to see your review of some of the other Nassau day resorts in the future!

Good info that it was 20 minutes at that rate. Thanks!
Thanks for another great video!
Thanks for watching!!

Yes they did. This is definitely a location we felt safe compared to walking around independently or going to a public beach. Thanks for watching!
My wife and I are going to Nassau in September.we’ve traveled all over the Caribbean and to Europe. But somehow we missed Nassau.
That was our first visit there too! Hope you have a great day!

Yes. One wouldn’t be able to sit just anywhere, but there are plenty of loungers and areas accessible.
@@AllThingsWagnerthanks for the reply!
Good option. We did Margaritaville in Jamaica.
Was it nice? Jamaica is another port that’s a bit short on excursion options. 🫤
@@AllThingsWagner it was great. You see ship next to you, relaxing in the pool with a drink.
I went to Margaritaville in Nassau. It was 38 pp. Now it's over $100. Nice but not worth that.
Reasonable opinion! Prices for everything have risen. ☹️

Did you ever attend the Pirate museum?
We did not. Not sure where it is. 🤔 The Junkanoo Museum is in the port, but we were heading back to the ship, so didn’t stop.
@@AllThingsWagner Thank you for your reply.
Went on a Pirate Tour which ended at the Pirate Museum. Did that the first time we went to Nassau. You should enjoy it.
After the voyager of the seas cruise to Hell last week I’m ready for the Bahamas again!
Oh no!! Sorry, friend. Time to book another one to cover up that memory. 😉
@@AllThingsWagner already booked the Harmony in September!
We too had a cruise from hell over the holidays. Still considering the group cruise though!
@@WinkelsonRanch good grief! Bummer. Y'all need to share in the FB group what the heck happened! Hope you can work in the group cruise!
Nassau is safe, get OFF the boat we suggest
