Great info and I wish I was on your ship with you. I can’t wait to cruise to Alaska. I have heard a lot of this info before and I like your presentation. I’m a senior citizen so I haven’t had a lot of experience with kids. It is definitely great to know about the kids clubs and checking in so early. I have a few grandkids that are young enough to use the kids facilities. I haven’t cruised with them yet but hope to soon.
We have subscribed and love your tips! We are Retired Times to Cruise. We have a 71 day DIY World Cruise starting soon. 3 ships, 3 lines and lots of ports. We can’t understand the logic of booking a check in time then showing up 3 hours early with 6 big suitcases and blocking everyone’s access to the lines. Porters are the way to go! We lots of times drop bags with the porters then go for a tour or zip into a store to pick up a few items, then check in. We have dropped bags with the porters, checked in, got our cruise cards and leave for a few hours depending on check in times. Luggage is the “PAIN” of travel…
Thank you for your tips. We’ve never done cruising but have started to consider it. I have a question regarding dinners; would appreciate if you could answer it. I don’t eat dinners (20 years of intermittent fasting😅), so my question is is it possible to remove “dinner” as a pre-paid option ? Thanks in advance ❤
For the MDR, all meals are included (already paid for in your cruise fare), so you can’t remove something they consider “free”. IF is popular these days, so that would be a nice feature.
Here’s the link! This one is small enough to fit under the airplane seat which helps have access to items. It also has straps if you want to wear it as a backpack. a.co/d/bnzE6T1

Some people are more important than others and just checkin when they want. Even if they have a different checkin time Especially if they are in a big group with different checkin times but decide to all checkin at one time.
Dropping off your luggage when you are parking close to the terminal. Say in the terminal parking lot at Galveston. Just causes more congestion for others trying to get to the terminal. My opinion from what I've experienced.
Can be true, especially at the older terminal. However, it’s still 10 times better than hauling luggage down and across the street, particularly if there are those in your party who are older or not as in good a shape. 👍🏼

Norwegian allows you to make reservations ahead of time even with the dining packages. I have my reservations already for my November cruise.
Excellent! We made ours once on board, but we just had the 2 meal package, I think, so it wasn’t a big deal.

@@AllThingsWagner I suspected that but wanted to double-check it with you; thank you for your reply
Is that bag you are pulling onto the ship a backpack? I've been wanting a rolling backpack. THANKS.
It looks like yours has 2 wheels, but I am wondering if I would like the 4 wheel one better? How do you like that bag/backback?

Sad, but some folks think that. In the end, we’re all getting on the ship. 🚢

Not all cruise lines allow you to bring beverages For sure NCL and MSC don’t
You are correct about MSC. However, NCL does: “Guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board.”
@@AllThingsWagner thanks for that correction 🙂
You did t do your homework that well P&O don’t have a app
Thanks for the info!
I love your videos…they are all so informative. Getting ready to take our 3rd cruise!
Have a great cruise! Let us know if you have questions.
