I been back and forth since the Pixel came out. The 200 price difference you talking about is for the 256gb coming from 128gb variant of Google which is not enough storage in 2024. I really think Google would've crush it if they could've kept the price down. Samsung features and overall package is just to much for Google to be in the same price bracket. OnePlus with OxygenOs15 is about to drop and bring incredible AI features for cheaper and better specs. Only way Google had a chance was to keep more exclusive features just for Google but if Samsung getting them too you really don't have a edge
@@GAMEHOLEOUT0 - Returned my S24 Ultra for my Pixel 8 Pro and bought the Z Fold 6 later, then ended up returning that for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Gonna keep the Pixel Fold, for sure. It's just too good to settle for a Samsung
For awhile, I have owned the s20 ultra, pixel 7 pro, pixel 8 pro, Samsung s24 Ultra. Nothing comes remotely close to this S24 Ultra it's not even close. I would say almost everything is better: visually from the screen, it's very noticebly brighter and clearer if you have bad vision, the camera, and even voice control is better, all apps run smoother. The only negatives are the S-pen doesn't work if the case has a magnet, Pixel works better with a screen protector but feels cheap in your hand, not like a 1k phone. That's about it.
@Liquoricilicious After a few months now, I found it takes more natural and better shots with the main camera. Has better options to choose from. but no doubt I will admit the selfie camera is def better on the pixel. I'm sad about that, but not that much because literally everything else is better. The screen is way better, it's brighter, higher resolution, and the touch works better. Better build quality, it's not even close you can feel it just holding it.. Better hardware so it runs all the software better and doesn't get as hot, battery lasts longer, better stereo, runs Bluetooth better, charges faster, has more 256gb memory (no phone should have 128gb anymore it makes it junk and antiquated) it's like 5 in the morning so I am sure there's more...point is just the selfie camera being better is not even close to being worth getting the pixel. btw it has this amazing S pen which works fantastically! S24 Ultra all the way, not even close : ]

EVERYTHING you just described i would rather have a laptop to do... if it takes more than 5mins to do i am going to my laptop or desktop, i just do not see the point in having a phone more than 500$ unless you live on an airplane or train or truck
Because it's over sharpened, you can do that on a pixel but it makes the photos look less professional and more just like a phone photo, plus the night sight is horrific Basically if you're actually interested in photography get the pixel, if you like photos that don't look as high quality and true to life, get the pixel and use an editor 🤣
I was looking for a new phone today and looked at the specs on several phones including the pixel.....no idea how thus chap is saying the pixel beats the s24ultra when side by side, its specs dont even beat the s23 ultra
Overall I like google pixels because they have less annoying bloat ware. What I don't like is that it's always trying to sign you in to Google accounts for everything.
I haven't used my S24 Ultra since I got my Pixel 9 Pro XL.. but they're both great! Also my BF wants to go to Iceland.. would have liked to have seen more of your photos :)
It seems to me that almost everyone here is a Google employee. Because of such paid pseudo-reviews, I ended up buying the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. This phone has such a terrible display that it takes us back at least 10 years in display technology. The colors are washed out, the white balance is awful, and the icons lack sharpness. I switched from a Redmi Note 10 Pro. The display on that old phone was 100 times better, sharper, and offered extensive options for adjusting screen color saturation. Perhaps I had become accustomed to overly saturated colors on the screen because I set it that way a long time ago. But Google knows better what I need, and there’s no option to set more saturated colors. Google only offers two modes: natural and adaptive. When switching between these modes, I can hardly see any difference. I was so deeply disappointed with the Pixel 9 Pro's screen that I returned the phone.
All these phone have problem and at this point I’ll just stay with the one I have. Though I have to agree pixel is better in my opinions. Samsung is too cluttered: the store and google store. Both Samsung and google apps and it drives me nuts

Disagree. Love the punchy colors and the fact I don't have to edit and sharpen in editing. "AI" crap in Samsung is garbage and tied to the stupid keyboard that doesn't work with multiple language+voice very well, but cameras are top notch.
It basically adds too much black to the outlines of shapes. That’s what I mean in this specific context. You can really see it in the video with the lighthouse (Look at the trees).
@6MonthsLater not really referring to you only. But I hear that word so much on almost any camera video from any you tubers. Funny thing is people complain about it either being over sharpened or too soft.
Galaxy with features is overwhelming. Going to Pixel will give you as close as iOS experience on Android platform. and once you try pixels call screening, hold for me, and call notes, you'll never go back to any other phone.
@tylerrowe6131 If you don't know, iOS is the industry benchmark. The software and hardware optimization is like magic. You surely don't care when a website in chrome on Android isn't functioning as expected, so no point of explaining.

It is subjective, and this review is a personal preference. If you prefer over-saturation, then that is fine.
@@andyH_England yeah, "I love the natural look so much" but every video i put out is supersaturated. Every thumbnail i make is supersaturated.
Natural look is good as you can edit it easier.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Though I am using S24 ultra, I am thinking of buy Pixel. But I might going to miss S pen.
Which is my preference? Team Pixel all day any day! I do like Samsung TVs though.
2:40 Now this part caught me off guard right there.. *"My husband and I"*
Same
Same it caught me by surprise lol
Hardly registers for me. This is 2024. Maybe I just live in a place in the world where it is more common and less of a curiosity.
Yeah didn't expect that. Unsubbed
I'm kidding of course...
Always gets me to see an apple watch wearing a texh reviewer reviewing an adroid phone.
Some of us tech nerds use both. I'm guilty
4:19 Thank you for mentioning no vertical app drawer on Samsung.

For some reason it seems like you would be most happy with an Apple phone
it would be a downgrade in technology...
@@JamesS777how is the S24U camera better than pixel?
@@JamesS777 You're comparing to pixel 8 pro, right? Surely Pixel 9 pro XL is better. But then again we also get S25U soon which might be even better
Im so glad you were brave enough to give the pixel the win 🏆 i agree 💯 there's no way i cld live with samsung cameras only in my life.
Sa.sung Cameras way way better!!! Duh if you dont like saturation use pro mode!!! Mommy Mommy how come my Piss All overheats so bad and love the way underpowered chip!!!
You sound like a child smh. @@DENVEROUTDOORMAN
EVERYTHING you just described i would rather have a laptop to do... if it takes more than 5mins to do i am going to my laptop or desktop, i just do not see the point in having a phone more than 500$ unless you live on an airplane or train or truck
if your a gamer, then you cant even consder the pixel. also i believe the read write speeds of the memory are slow on the pixel.
Yes
Went for the Samsung, mainly because I got a great contract deal..£35 a month with 50 gig data..in my opinion, great deal.
Always Samsung. Try using a pixel outside the US.
What's it like?
Pixel user in Italy, pixel 9 pro xl. I have never used such a great phone. I love it
Pixel is better. Love your videos. Very thorough
I like google the way google phones look. Clean as hell but something about Samsung and iPhone is just better. The processors and the ecosystems
In every camera sample you provided the Samsung one looked better imo
Because it's over sharpened, you can do that on a pixel but it makes the photos look less professional and more just like a phone photo, plus the night sight is horrific
Basically if you're actually interested in photography get the pixel, if you like photos that don't look as high quality and true to life, get the pixel and use an editor 🤣
pixel's photos look like phone photos with their processing. they're not bad but s24's photos look more like a mirrorless camera.
WTF?? Samsung photos are the one which looks typical phone photos. The pixel tries to stay as natural as a DSLR.
You got that the wrong way round bud, if you think the s24s camera looks more professional then you've never seen a good camera 💀
@@anwarulislam9522 when you zoom into pixel's photos they're mostly soft and processed with increased structure.
Customization is the reason i will go for the s24u 100x over. That good luck app and also the Grammerly integrated samsung keyboard are 🔥🔥🔥
But ultimately, he chooses an iPhone : )
(Check his wrist)
I was looking for a new phone today and looked at the specs on several phones including the pixel.....no idea how thus chap is saying the pixel beats the s24ultra when side by side, its specs dont even beat the s23 ultra
Phones the same price for black friday
Samsung for me, until pixel gets a snapdragon and stylus
Overall I like google pixels because they have less annoying bloat ware. What I don't like is that it's always trying to sign you in to Google accounts for everything.
Its also the phone for people that dont want to push their phone to the limit gaming, plus the stylus is a must have for me.
well done video
I freaking love my s24 ultra ❤
Thanks for not giving an answer that starts with "It depends"👍
It is a crime that the charging is only 37 watts. Does Pixel want its company to fail? The charging speed should be at least 65 watts.
Seems disingenuous, the pixels starts 200 less but that's also 128gb the same 256 is 100 less and that processing power is hard to ignore
I saw that fursuit head in tha back 👀
Samsung bloatware is my main reason I avoid it like the plague
Yes, and OneUi alone feels like bloat. I also have a OnePlus 12 and it feels sooo much better than my S22 Ultra.
Both amazing i love both but prefer one ui for multi tasking and stylus support

All these phone have problem and at this point I’ll just stay with the one I have. Though I have to agree pixel is better in my opinions. Samsung is too cluttered: the store and google store. Both Samsung and google apps and it drives me nuts
Nice pictures of Belfast harbour and silent valley 😂 Were you here on vacation?
Yep! Absolutely beautiful county. And I survived driving on the roads...barely 😂 - Josh
@ Glad you enjoyed it. Always confusing driving on ‘ the wrong side of the road’ 😂
How can you say pixel is close to stock android but not quiet the same thing? Are you nuts? Pixel IS stock Android. Jeeeez

Patiently awaiting for the Pixel 10 to drop next year so I can upgrade from Pixel 8 Pro lol
Disagree. Love the punchy colors and the fact I don't have to edit and sharpen in editing. "AI" crap in Samsung is garbage and tied to the stupid keyboard that doesn't work with multiple language+voice very well, but cameras are top notch.
Its so funny just now realizing bro has the same smoldering intensity look on ALL OF HIS THUMBNAILS
Iphone ❌ Google pixel ❌❤️❤️ Samsung Galaxy Is The God 🗿🗿
OneUI is far superior imo. PixelUI lacks many basic features.
Like which ones?
That is why pixel and nexus I only buy. No shitty touchwiz add on. Good stock android
husband ahhh 💅💅 love the vids
Why do reviewer keep using the word oversharpen. I just don't see this issue when I take pictures.
Aww you guys are cute 🥰😊
Galaxy with features is overwhelming. Going to Pixel will give you as close as iOS experience on Android platform. and once you try pixels call screening, hold for me, and call notes, you'll never go back to any other phone.
What is the point of trying to get an iOS experience on Android lmfao
@tylerrowe6131 If you don't know, iOS is the industry benchmark. The software and hardware optimization is like magic. You surely don't care when a website in chrome on Android isn't functioning as expected, so no point of explaining.
@@tylerrowe6131probably a stepping stone for those used to the apple ecosystem.
maybe the fact that android phones actually go on sale and are accesible so they're literally always cheaper than iphone @@tylerrowe6131
