Thank you for your Tips. I use it for paint a house on Brasil, using a airless on Wood house and very fast to paint and cut off overspray. The dificult here is, no has all resources of this, but i do using a cardborad with a bamboo adaptation. Yes, all right! Keep this information, thank you man! God Bless you from Brasil!
thanks Idaho really great Info for for a beginner like me. Much appreciated it.
Glad to know about your channel, came over from wrangler star loved the barns, great crew! Have a great day
Thanks for watching Andy!
Good demonstration. Many gutter guards in our area and gutter helmets on the gutters.
Muito bom estou no brasil!comprei uma airless da graco pc190 apesar de não entender nada de ingles consigo entender boa parte dos seus videos!
Hy Chris man! Another great vid :) On interiors I have been using your setup for sure on the paper and masking, love that stuff. So important. One time, I even covered a car with 5 bedsheets lol omg to prevent overspray from our Graco airless sprayers on an exterior. Lately, for interiors I use a cleanshot valve made from Graco to prevent spitting on release and trigger pull actions...works pretty good, though they don't last very long(or you can repair them :)...maybe like 3-4 houses then a replacement of about $160 possibly. Anyways, love your vids man, it is like you run a virtual school, you help so many people around the planet, you definitely have an abundance in your karmic bank :) Cheers from Halifax, Canada :)

Yeah Chris mate! I used it on 3 2 bedroom apartments so far...it worked very well for the price of (I think) of 150$ It prevented the spits on trigger pull and release on most (99.9%) occasions, I can think of one time it didn't, but then I just cleaned it out, etc and re-attached to the extension and back in biz :) I saved me a bunch of headaches for sure...I would love to see a review of yours on that piece :) Cheers man :)

Hey! Yeah you can tell there's a bit more weight there, I got used to it though pretty quickly. Cheers!
great vids n tips! spraying soffits same color as the house seems wrong.
is this a popular thing to do>?
Good video Chris.....
Great video. Do you have one on how to choose the right tip size ( deck spray vs wall paint Etc )?
Good explained. Thank you
great video help a lot!!
Excellent skill ❤️ love from 🇮🇳🏹🎯
Thanks
I've painted for 14 years including spraying. I think many people who don't know or who have tried spraying a few times think it just blows all over the place but it doesn't IF you do it correctly. There's a lot of factors. Keeping the gun clean, not mixing the wrong products, correct tip, filters cleaned, pressure set adequately, right width and volume of paint depending on the task, the right pace and distance and angle relative to the various surfaces maintained.. If its all done at least close to correctly, the pant is applied to the surface and it does not blow and drift all over in the wind.
Geez, I thought I knew what I was doing but I started at this company & over spray is a serious problem. I dont understand, it seems I'm doing everything right, I could be feathering too much, I was painting cars before.. But the gun is like ancient & we're using the cheapest $300 pumps you can get, no pressure gauge & they dont maintain them at all just throw them away when they clog. The suction screens are half clogged with paint, I'm sure the gun screen is fkd. So I'm thinking it's the equipment. The guns are terrible & they just swap the crap hose & gun to a new pump. Hose is super stiff & trigger is a really hard pull. I kept getting clogged tips with new paint. Major droplets too & there's the line streak at the edge of the pattern, even the veteran here seems to have issues. Advice?
Great vid as always Chris. I just got a Graco X7 and used it for the first time to paint some trim, baseboards and moulding but was having issues with the paint running after applying it. I used the 313 RAC tip and tried to move quickly, and also had the sprayer pressure turned down pretty low. Any tips on how to avoid having the paint run or drip after applying? Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. I heard you wrong and picked up a 313 instead of the 310. It seems the rac x fft310 tips are hard to come by but I'll do some searching and order one online.
Do you paint houses on windy days or do you wait for a calmer day?
Hey Chris. Love the vids mate. I've spray painted an electric shutter with dulux high gloss (navy) ontop of dulux supergrip primer. I sanded the shutter before paint and prime but I went back the next day and there's patches where paint has smudged of and you can see little white marks from when the shutter opens. Any idea why this has this occurred mate.
dude ive learned so much from you.
i will probably be buying your bid package, im in northern Virginia so not sure if it would help here.lol
very nice man
Bad habit I've seen on complete restoration, old house jobs,is guys that call themselves professional, and don't scrape! We have a powerful pressure washer, and use peelstop primer, but you still gotta scrape good. I guess,if they walk away, and it doesn't start peeling for a couple of years, that's the status quo now adays, but I like to put as much pride in the prep,as the application.
Yes
agreed! brent
Good tips
thank you . ( from south korea)
Thanks for watching!
Great video. How do you stop spits from the gun extension as you stop & starting all the time, as you don't use a clean stop?
don"t use an extension!!!!! airless hand held guns wer designed and made .....
TO HOLD IN YOUR Hand!
Brent
I just sprayed a couple rooms with Benjamin Moore primer. I got a sandy texture. I used a 5/15 tip. The pressure was really low but I was getting quite a bit of over spray so I kept it seemed to keep it down. I should add this is my first time spraying l
Watch our videos on how to prevent over spray!
Also, backrolling your walls after spraying helps minimize that sandy texture your getting. Quick pole sand should get rid of it though. Happy spraying
Great video.
Thanks for sharing🤙
Great video, question : I use the blue masking tape on clean surfaces and they seem to peel of , what do you recommend?
I find that if I rub a cloth or something most on the surface then make sure its bone dry that it sticks although it does add time to the job
Even though you used the sheild for the corner and along the bottom of the of the wall when you spray the rest of the wall will dust not fall onto the ground
Thank you sir
You are welcome!
Thanks
You are welcome!
good job sir😎🇭🇳🇺🇸👌👍
Thank you!
When spraying t 111 do you spray vertically vs horizontally
Great video Chris!!!! Do you have anyone back roll your walls after you spray? If I don't it's very streaky. Also have you ever tried the grace spray guide? Thanks in advanced Chris
Chris, I assume you are a fellow brother in Christ. Love you verses that pop up in some of your videos. Keep it up Brother
what brand of airless sprayer did jesus use?
@@AndrewBrowner the same brand as the keyboard you used to type your pointless, smartass comment.
Do you strain your paint before you spray chris... Sherwin just told me the reason why my 390pc is clogging is due to not straining paint... And also when spraying with your 310 tip do you thin your paint??
Mike Nobles ALWAYS strain your paint
I typically have problems with spits and drips when using an extension versus using just a gun which obviously has a valve. What am I doing wrong?
Caleb H
Try the clean shot by graco (spitiless swivel), this gets rid of spits.
Hi Chris, name od this Holder? Im from Poland and cant find them.
have you ever tried plexiglass instead of cardboard?
How do you deal with hard to reach spots?

Hey Chris,
Do you back roll your siding after spraying?
I have a video explaining that. Thanks for the question or comment. All our questions are now answered on our Facebook group "Paint Life Members". Join that group and you will receive all the help you need. Hope to see you there.
You can roll it out ,depends on siding . I usually roll behind sprayer guy if it stucco or brick . Bc rolling help get the paint in deep area where sprayer cannot
Is there a way to know the pressure without a digital readout
Some sprayers have lights that indicate approximate pressure.
do you always spray soffits?
What pressure would you use for elastomeric paint which is a heavy paint?
2200
How do you protect gutters when painting the fascia they are attached to. Paper and tape?
It is faster to pop them off and re-install after
Good evening
I have a quick question
What to do when I have dripping on the wall after painting with the spry gun ?
You'll have to sand and repaint
Have someone follow you with a roller. Even it out with a roller.
Keep a brush and brush before it drys and your good ...
where did you get a hook for the tape gun?I purchased a tape gun from sherwin Williams and it doesn't have it.
They should come with the guns now
I have a question for you is it good to hold and paint anything sideways ? If yes or No why and why not. I have someone trying to teach me that painting sideways would help with over spray . Thank you Idaho painter
It's personal preference. It all depends on your prep/mask,trigger release , spray tips and how you catch it with your shield anne rodriguez. The new Graco Fflp tips are amazing at reducing overspray because yoh need less pressure to spray.
John Cenas older brother cool as hell 💪🏼😂
How many types of sprays nozzels n how much smaller sizes n thinner n how much price.n how can i buy? Please suggest
Depends on what you are painting
I'm a big fan of your haters, they make me laugh. I thought I could use my tips forever by keeping them clean but I'm going to take your advice and only use them for about 50 gallons. You're awesome dude
+Alonso Arocha Yeah the titanium dioxide wears out the tip openings over time. The spray pattern starts to become terrible after a while.
Hello do you use a special airless paint or is it a classic paint ?
Any paint can go through an airless
i would like to talk about the prices of interior paint and exterior paint
Jbuuuu Vic go b uuvuuh biv
Thanks for continually putting out great videos, Chris! I originally stumbled on your channel because I was looking for some simple tips for painting my home exterior. Little did I know there was someone as thorough as you putting out content regularly!
I hear you reference that you use Sherwin Williams Resilience paint. Do you spray 2 coats for home exteriors? What are your thoughts on Resilience compared to the Duration and Emerald paints from SW? I'm told those are 1 coat paints, right?
One quick comment/suggestion I recently thought of after watching a few of your videos on the UA-cam app on my phone was that the video screenshot links within the videos don't work when you refer to another video. Would you consider adding links to your additional videos within the video descriptions? Maybe there's a good reason not to do that and I'm not aware of it, but I just thought I'd mention it.
Thanks - keep up the great work!
+The Idaho Painter That makes sense. 2 coats of Resilience sounds like a good/cost effective option to me then. Thanks for the response!
Where does one get the cardboard that goes into the holder?
Your local paint store
Qual nome desse suporte. Será que tem aqui no Brasil
DIEGO PINTURAS diego, aqui se chama cardboard shield, traduzindo ao pe da letra seria escudo de papelao, procura por suporte de papelao ou algo assim você deve achar
Boa sorte
What can you do if you sprayed too much on a spot and in a few minutes the paint drops?
Roll it with a fine nap. Then spray the spot again if needed.
*graco spray guide*
Is there any sprayer that allows to spray with 2 guns simultaneously?
Yeah, all depends on the pump. Graco X70 Xtreme can push 2 guns at one time but you need a good compressor to get the right pressure.
Yes! in fact Binks made a B-10 airless that couild power 10 guns back in 1978!!!! But binks and graco made various sprayers that would suplly 2 guns.
Chirs. thanks
You are welcome!
More advance for me..I would like to paint my house outside with paint brush and roller I live in sub tropical
Spraying works best for exteriors
seen video that talked about a flat tip any comment? I have never used one
Ronnie,
I haven't used 'flat tips for probably 20 years now. they are certainly economical....but with the advent of the 'switch-tip' made them just not viable. Even if you (and you shoulod for the life of your sprayer) strain your paint you often won't believe what you find! )
Quick burst
Yeah
The masker on the hip.. lawl..
lol
Over-spray on a roof is the mark of a real amateur, that's for sure.
Got on roof now what?
Actually??!
lol, yes actually

Love the Romans 8 verse 31 caption at 6:23.
Romans 8 verse 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Very informative but a little misleading, you are protecting adjacent surfaces from the overspray. You’re not stopping it.
Not a hater, just sayin...
Agreed wholeartedly! why does this guuy have a website/ just discovering these guys. spend less time in the gym ....and more time on the job! laughs brent
yes. yes yes! this guy is rather amusing.
Jk
lol, thanks for watching Scott
