My reaction to Henrik when I first heard him was to be intimidated. Then I realized he is some sort of demi-god from some Scandinavian pantheon and I didn't feel so bad.
Henrik is a phenomenal - but very humble from the interviews I've seen - bass player. Love him! Great lead voice and drummer as well. It reminds me a bit of Brand New Heavies: great bands with outstanding players but somehow do not get the fame or recognition they deserve.
They are signed up with Hitman, David Foster. They're in good hands. I just found them a couple of days ago. "Where have you been, you may ask?" I love their music, which, by the way, seems to create another Genre in the music world; Kind of Fusion-jazz-rock with a hint of "metal-ish" 🙂 They are totally virtuosos in their areasvf expertise. They do rock.
Their performance skills are also top-notch... they are clearly "performing" to the camera, and it works. They have a very "cool" on screen persona.. always smiling, having fun.. great production (and obviously unbelievable performance.. that goes without saying).
People who don't play bass listen to Henrik play and think "I wish I could play like that!" People who *DO* play bass listen to Henrik play and think "I'm giving up playing bass!"
He, and all the others are mindblowing. Regarding Henriks playing, it is amazing in many ways. Especially, how i incorporates the frekvent use of ghost triplets. The way he does it, is magic because many bassplayers are using them a lot. But he manages to overuse them, without "disturbing" the composition. And that is rare. Great reaction!

So, wait...what I got from this video is you introduced the song, said Henrik's name, "Woo," *air bass* rewind the hot lick, "Oh my gawd," "This man is like...," "Like & subscribe." Did I miss anything? Are you telling us you're a bassist who has never heard Dirty Loops? You didn't comment on his sound, instrument, left hand, right hand, any number of other-worldly techniques, facility, musicality, creativity, personality? Can you demonstrate a level of bass proficiency that would lend credibility as to why you should have a UA-cam bass channel where you comment on the great masters of the instrument? "Woo, omg, like/subscribe?" That's it? Ok...1) you must comment on some specifics of the performance. We're all capable of posting flabbergasted reactions to Henrik's playing. 2) Maybe you make 100 edits, but string them together in thoughtful points. 3) Highlight a subtle moment that some of us might have missed; you're supposed to be the expert who can pick up on these things better than most. 4) You have to play. At least a little. I think most of us here would like to play ANY ONE THING half as well as Henrik; help us learn something. Good luck with your channel.
this is a remake of level 42/pop super sharp playing,, this here is a bit more /exhibionistic music/nothing bad / level 42 were more poppy //still ok i prefer garder lines like primus but this is nice too ,, must tell you that this bass play is no so superhard to play as it looks,,get into training ,,machinegun triplets by wooten /mark king etc they all got a bit diferent aproach to it/they all look impossible to play //bass on
