I believe the AR coating is only on the inside of the sapphire. It does it’s job in the sun but is not any better or any worse then other domed sapphire crystals out there. Mine is running at +4 but I am using an iPhone app not a timegrapher as I don’t own one of those.
I've just purchased this watch, first CW I have owned, it's a really nice watch that wears well and keeps time.... but a little disappointed the one I have as the markers don't quite align with the markers on the dial, that said, i haven't contacted CW to see if its something they can fix.
They have pretty great customer service and if they missed that in their QC I would reach out sooner rather then later. It would really surprise me if they didn’t fix your watch or exchange it for another one.

If they made this version in 40mm I would have purchased that. I think both the 40mm and 38mm Christoper Ward offer are great sizes but I wold like matte black for both the dial and the bezel insert. The C65 is amazing but I can not stand the yellow, cream, or false aged lume look.
It looks so much darker than how I see them advertise it on the website. It looks great nonetheless. I am getting the C60 Sapphire on the hybrid strap soon.

Yeah I liked that the dial was actually darker in real life. I ended up letting this watch go but only because I want the 40mm version. Christopher Ward do lots of great watches and I would snag a few if they would only bring their cases down to the 38-40mm range.

I have the black version 40 mm for my wirst 17.5 cm. For me 42 its too big. This color is beatiful and original

What is the dial made of?
I’m fairly confident that it is just a painted brass or aluminum dial. Most dials are brass
