Fantastic work, Larry! You never fail to surprise. What a mammoth of a vehicle and to battle it on tour own is a helluva feat!
Your ethics is one key reason I follow you as a top class detailer.
    Keep it up!

The Serbians are a great people. They are great friends of Russia and remember how Tsar Nicholas II came to their aid in 1914.

You did an amazing job with this video. Showing all the steps you took and giving us updates at the end really made this video come together. It also shows us that you have to know what defects you can and can't get out with compounding and polishing. Great job and I'm already awaiting your next video!

Great job of restoration, and I am very impressed with your generosity in giving the car away.
Like you, I hate sending what could possibly be a decent vehicle for someone to the scrapper.
I used to have an early 1966 Mercury Monterey, (because of poor sales, there was an early 1966, and then a 1966 1/2 model)
two door version of the car that you have there. I was heartbroken when I had to scrap it. I wish that I could find another one.
Fun story, the auto repair shop that I used to work for sent me to the junkyard to pick up a 350 Chevrolet V-8, complete with carburetor, intake, alternator, power steering pump AND exhaust manifold. When I got there, the guy asked "how are you going to get the engine home ?" "Simple" I said, "I'll just put it in the trunk!" And much to thier disbelief, not only would it fit into the trunk, I could actually close the trunk lid as well
What a beautiful beast that car was!

Nice to see the car go to such a nice fellow.
I had a 78 Dodge Magnum with a seized engine. Filled it to overflowing with diesel fuel and every day would try to turn it by hand. One day it broke free and after a few successive oil changes and new plugs it fired up and turned out to be one of the best motors I’ve owned.
    Great episode.

You're a very brave man, tackling a car like that... I would be really frightened to even open that car, knowing that there's a big chance some kind of rodent will come and jump at you. But besides that, the smell and the unbelievable amount of mess the rodents left behind ... I shiver at just the idea! So you, my man, have my deepest respect!
