Watch out for spam comments pretending to be me, I'd never request any information or send you to a dodgy website or whatsapp number!!
Do you use a hot water pressure washer? also do you have a steamer? and if you do, what jobs do you use the hot water pw and or the steamer. Thanks
I think I've seen a post like that before, on your channel, and I flagged it immediately.
I’ve seen it on other channels too.
Ask people to report the comments when they see them
All of Europe needs to be pressure washed.
@@JoeBlow-ub1us 😅😅😅😅
something about that church job seems really special, to think that nobody has seen that entrance the way it was intended in over a hundred years, and you got to be the first person to see it the way it was meant to be in so long. theres probably dozens of people that never even knew those stones had color, i wouldnt be too surprised if some people even thought they replaced them. its just wild to think that nobody alive today has ever seen those stones properly, and you got to be the first to see it proper. amazing stuff dude!
@Josh I thought he said it was built in the 1880's and not cleaned since then.
It's too bad they wouldn't let you clean the bottom edges of the building with a lower psi. I bet they call you back.
One thing i'm sure we can all agree on is, those drainage grates probably weren't there a century ago. lol
@@laurelbrennan6295 Better to sandblast sandstone.
Those look like modern slabs maybe from the 70’s. Even if they were original to the building 1899 they most likely will have been cleaned pretty regularly by the caretaker. There would be no way to know if they had been cleaned annually and it just stopped say in the 60’s or 70’s love your videos and a wee bit of clicky bait never hurt any one. Great job regardless 👏🏻👍🏻
That's amazing. The stones looked uniform before. Almost like concrete. Now with all the different colours they came alive. Almost like an artistic patch work.
They came alive like Jesus came alive !!!
@@travisash8180 that has nothing to do with this stfu
“Not completely happy with this job”?? You could give lessons to the guys here in Toronto. Recently walked by an office tower in a very busy part of town while some outfit was operating a flat surface cleaner. Thanks to you, I knew what it was. Walked by again a couple of days later and I could not see ANY difference. None. They might as well have stayed home. BE HAPPY WITH THIS JOB!! On the second job, really good work. Paint will last a lot longer now. Ivy is one of those things - you plant it, love it for a couple of years, and then begin to wish it had had an evolutionary death a hundred thousand years ago.
Company i do work for had some guy rock up after hours and powerwash the sidewalks and overhangs. Possibly hired by the landlord. Dude blasted all the dirt onto the windows, shot water through the door seals, and blasted the interior of my vehical because he didnt care my window was down.
I know i could have done better with my lil 2200psi unit and some pride in my work...
I like POV angle. I think it would be really good for things like where the plants were held. That looked like a major transformation.
When you were rinsing all that filth off down the drain too, at least on this job since the surface cleaner worked so well but the results were hard to see until the rinse. I think POV on those instances would make it look like a miracle clean as it flushes away.
Yes! Definitely want more of the POV angle!
Wow from black and grungy to colorful and light. Your cleaning really made the space look more open and bigger!!! Not to mention more welcoming with all that color, versus factory soot black!
My thoughts exactly! What an amazing difference! It brightened it up tremendously! ❤️❤️
I had to clear off some ivy remnants from a wall and found starting at the top was much better, as the water running down the wall softened the lower stains/branches and made them easier to remove.
Just an idea if you have to clean up a wall in the future.
Interesting!
Out of curiosity, was it brick or textured like this one? Thanks ahead.
Brick is much easier in my experience. This type of wall is awful to look at, awful to clean, and awful to paint. Sprayer is absolutely necessary.
And if you don't paint them it's just turns green, and it's still just as hard to pressure wash 😄
I can't understand why anyone chooses this style over stucco, it's awful in every way. Cheers!
Typically when you work on a vertical surface, the rule of thumb is to start from the bottom and clean moving upwards, then at the to, switch to rinsing and rinse downwards. Two passes. Depends on what youre doing but presoaking the whole area works well too, but also generally the rule of thumb is to soak moving upwards, and quickly coat moving downwards.
Even car washing by hand. Typical rule of thumb is scrub moving up, soap moving down, rinse moving up, wax/spotfree moving down.
I can appreciate this angel. The white curbs are filthy. The planter in front was crazy. The difference in that was shocking as well
Though you meant angle, yes you could say having an angel help us watch as he cleaned 125 yrs of soot, and other gunk off of everything, from the steps, roof, and walls (with the walls especially being a delicate job), is correct ...
This is what you call “satisfying power washing.” Decent editing, no dizzying camera angles, good cleaning, and my favorite part, at the perfect time lapse so I’m not watching for an hour waiting to fall asleep
The church one was really good, i think what it needed though was having the walls done too since you were left with a nice clean front but with murky green walls
He couldn't do the walls due to the aged stone on it would become to fragile and break away even at a little water pressure hitting it
Yeah it even said this at 0:47
Yeah I’ll be steam cleaning pretty much the entire first level of the front soon. Couldn’t touch it on that day, needs a low pressure steam. 👊👊
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning It'll look like a new building once you do the steam cleaning Sid!
Limestone can not be powerwashed, it would probably deteriorate to point of irrepairable damage.
I have friend who has 3ft stone wall around his 2acre property on SoCal... with wrought iron fence above. One day took my power washer over & for about 6 hrs did the whole darn wall. The reward was to see all the probably 30+ yrs of dirt come off. The stone all had their own natural, but slightly different colors from the others. I was careful to not ruin cement in between the chiseled stones. My reward was that it was fun & amazing to see the change & know it was all clean & beautiful for the neighbors.
Wow!!! I would have never thought these stones were colored ones, that is amazing, it is like night and day, such a great job you have done, bravo 👍👌👏🇫🇷
Just because something is old doesn't mean it has to be dirty. I know many people scream PATINA but I like the clean look.
Restoring the look of these stones is important. You get to see what people over a century ago got to encounter, in terms of colour and texture. Great work.
Sadly you don't. That paving is classic 70s or 80s, so we're talking more about 40 years ago rather than a century.
I’m amazed at how good it looks after. The planters really came out well.
If only they could make an adhesive with the sticking power of Ivy! Sorry about your van mirror Sid. Excellent jobs! Thanks
White vinegar is awesome for pretreating that stuff a day or more before the PW. The acid gets deep into the texture and gets the old vegetation drying out and more brittle, and a stiff broom right before you PW will help in denser areas
You always seem to get the delicate jobs, and you always clean them with care and perfection! The pressure washing Gods and the creators of this beautiful architecture are up in Heaven looking down on you and saying " Sid, we always have faith that you will do your absolute best, and take pride in bringing this beautiful place back to life"!! Keep up the good work Sid, and Love to you and your beautiful family, from the USA!!
Cleaning some beautiful history there .lovely result .
The end job is beautiful. Always see things in England and think everything is so drab and dark I can't believe there's all that color under that it looked completely black before
I love your work! You just dive in... Go Boy , Thanks for the incentive.
Amazing transformation! Good job, as usual!
Thank you so much!
Your work surprised me by how moving it is! I didn’t expect power washing to actually affect my heart. There is something so satisfying about caring for people and for history clearly apparent in your work. Thank you. I appreciate your humble approach in your relationship with your viewers however, you are awfully hard on yourself at the end of this video. You are so kind to the people and structures you care for, why not also yourself? Your gift for storytelling, history and documentation of your subjects affected me and my day in Austin Texas! I hope self deprecation will play a much smaller role when sharing your fascinating work in future. Thank you so much, LL
This ought to be good! I love historical locations, luckily there’s an abundance of them in England. :)
When pressure washing a wall always start from the top and work your way down!
Has to be so much safer if it is raining and the congregants are walking on it. Here in Texas, when the concrete or tiles are black, they are slick as glass when they are wet. Very pretty courtyard. Love the colors.
Couple of very different jobs there Sid. The church courtyard came up a treat and the ivy sure got short shrift, Sorry about your mirror. Thanks for posting.
Ivy on stucco well worth the watch thank you
My God, Sid (bah dum tss!) that church is gorgeous! That planter and walkway went from literal black to terra cotta and sandy colors! WOW! I bet the church folk were giddy with pleasure seeing what a beautiful entrance they really had! And just what a cool job, even for all it's restrictive environment, you're a part of History now Sid.
The POV angle is my favorite, especially not sped up to light speed and not edited in rapid transitions. My enjoyment is watching the steady motion of you working and transformation happening. I’d be much happier with longer, slower videos. The newer ones I can’t watch-they’re not very relaxing.
Good morning from Texas, USA! Exciting to watch a new cleaning video! Thanks 👍🏻
@2:44 Watching the clouds float by in the reflection is such a peaceful vibe. :D Wonderful!
Looks good! Bringing back that sandy colour rather than dirt, makes it look so much more bright and lovely
thank you for making the earth a little better place for everyone.
such a beautiful entrance walk.
God bless you
These havent been down in 123 years. That's a much newer highway scheme, probably when the road was changed.
Have to agree with you on that, the pavers themselves maybe 123 years old (which I doubt) but that paved area has been re-laid at some point, the aco drainage channel definitely was not installed 123 years ago! Bloody good job on the clean up though.
For going over 120 years without a cleaning, it came up great! I get that there was still some dirt in the deeper cracks of the stones and grout, and that can be disappointing. Maybe another cleaning down the line could pull that up?
The stones done in that style with the drainage and the disability access is more 70s at the oldest, more likely 80s. Certainly not as old as the church. Bit clickbaity really but I don't fully expect a pressure washer guy to actually have a more in depth knowledge of historical styles. He described one build with totally square windows as looking "very gothic" so he's not even got a basic grasp (gothic architecture involves very pointed arches, its quite distinctive). So not faulting him for not knowing. You can also tell from the lichen growing how long since the last clean. Lichen grows out in a circular pattern at a rate of 1mm per year (its super slow growing). The largest spots looked less than 5cm in diameter, meaning the last cleaning was around then. Its highly likely they were never cleaned properly since being put in, but certainly not 120 years ago!
Thank you for taking care of this beautiful old building
Wow that came up brilliant honestly. You would have never thought under all that grime there was those colours.
Would it be worth getting some sort of tape to put up when doing outside areas like the church to cordon it off? Just to stop people from walking onto the chemicals or getting to close whilst using them?
Just put up some sort of "treated Floor" sign
It's in Leicester on top of London Road
WOW.....Just a a BIG WOW! What an amazing difference that made and I'm so impressed with the clean-look now after so many years of neglectful cleaning. WOW!!!!
Wow!!! That is a huge difference! You would never know how bright and colourful the stones originally were
What a job! Lovely colours brought back to life. Well done.
So satisfying! Great job.
My favorite part was seeing the curved raised bed feature go from dark charcoal to that red color! Gorgeous!
It must be so nice for the people who work and pass by this building to see this beauty come out. Yes, not perfect, but still looks lovely; kind of vintage. Loved the difference in the planter.
Beautiful church! I’m surprised it wasn’t pressure washed at all. What a treasure it was to see all that muck lift so easily. Glad it was only your mirror that was clipped. Hope nothing else will happen. Some people just don’t know how to drive or are aware of their spacial boundaries. Be safe!
Nice to see different camera angles and a variety of jobs. So when are you going to show us the van mounted system :-)
Should be installed within the next week!
What a difference. You should be proud. It looked good to me, especially after all those years of not being cleaned. Great job.
This was a treat..two jobs….the church front had years of traffic pollution so don’t be too hard on yourself it totally brightens up the front…and I have a rendered house it’s horrible stuff and a good paint job will help…but cleaning it is also tricky👏🏻👏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
I didn't expect all that color underneath the dirt. Beautiful.
I really like the POV angle. Would like to see more! Wonderful job! Those stones are gorgeous!!❤️
Your country is beautiful, history of the buildings u get to clean amazing job. 👍👍
Thank you very much!
Brilliant job happy days 😘
What a difference. It was a delight to see it “come alive”! Watching your work from Burbank, WA, USA 🇺🇸
Omg the difference on the stones around the trees at 1:14 wow!!!! Top job boss man 👌
an incredible transformation 👍
Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful and well-presented. Your time and effort is most appreciated!
What a difference at that church! Those stones were beautiful and hidden under decades of grime. Good job!
Your videos are therapeutic. Love your work and the music you choose as well.
That drainage had to have been a help especially with it being a heavy traffic area! I worked as an architectural photographer and we always wet down any asphalt that would be in a frame and the hardest part was dealing with people who were curious or wanted to walk through the area despite us blocking it off and getting permits.
I love the sunlight hitting the stones during the spray off. Beautiful stones.
I know where this church is and I used to live in that city for most of my life until i moved 3 years ago. All those years I went past it, It never seemed like the paving or front was deep cleaned. Very nice to watch and even better it helps brighten up that part of the area.
Looks good! Both jobs......It's relaxing to watch you power away and the stuff is cleaner.
Great video. Very relaxing and satisfying, especially the ivy junk coming off the wall.
Great work. It’s so satisfying just watching you at work. It’s just power washing, but it amazes me how so much dirt can be removed on building and concrete. Wow!
Sid, you are performing more magic each time!! Excellent!!
This is awesome! And the clouds reflecting in the puddles was beautiful
Damn that crazy how much better that looks, more public places should be cleaned up like this!
You not only do such great work, but people know you are up front about it if something isn’t quite how you would like it. The church paving looked so so much better. You wouldn’t have guessed that it had so much colour. Awesome as always Sid.
I really liked how you put the "pros & cons" of the job on the screen!
honestly the road scene as its sped up is super relaxing with the music. this is a great vieo. shots of the pov are good too just here and there
I liked the stone how you made it so nice and clean and the potted plant wall you made like new.
What a stunning difference!!!!
It's beautiful!!
This is so cool to see how powerful this washing is. When a benefit to the painter.
It’s unreal how bright and lively the area seemed after the cleaning!!
Always a pleasure to watch other people work lol only 1700 subs to go until the BIG 100,000 Get in there....
insane isnt it :D
It's really beautiful to see the real colours, it gives this lively feeling. Really great work!
(And I apologise for any mistakes, I'm Spanish)
Oh, you made a BIG difference -- these are very old stones but your brought some sunlight to them after their years of impacted grime. Good work!
Wow the church pavement looked amazing and beautiful. I haven’t seen your new van and signage. Looks great. Keep up the great work. Cheers from New Zealand
The pattern is beautiful and you have done a fantastic job. It’s gorgeous
Wonderful transformation !!!
I love that he does this small edit that slowly transitions out so up close dirty from afar, clean and pristine !
Just an incredible job. You are an urban archaeologist for unearthing the beauty of these stones.
We love what you did here! Amazing👏
beautiful
nice to see you bringing back some color into peoples lives, nice job!
The church transformation was incredible! The stones had different colours, which I wasn’t expecting. The thing I would find frustrating doing that job, would be that you couldn’t do the bottom of the walls. And the ivy was intriguing. That you could see the outline even after the wash, just amazed me.
With all of that build up, although the patina of the ages has its sentimental value, you have to wonder if anybody ever slipped on it and got hurt. Amazing that there's no record of it ever being cleaned before. So satisfying to watch. I subscribed.
I love these videos! I really appreciate you putting why this is a tough job in the beginning in text.
Thank you for making something beautiful again. Let's hope this is the beginning of people having love and pride in things again
Wow, incredible transformation! God bless you 😇
2 unusual jobs both done with great outcomes. Thankyou the videos x
Fabulous work on the church front yard 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 so many old building here UK need a good clean up ⚘ Alot arn't as old as they look filthy x
I´m late to this party but man did I enjoyed watching it. It´s always crazy how much dirt can be on a stone and let buildings look even boring. And then you show up, cleans everything and it looks like someone build everything new up. Such a great work, Sid 🤩🙌
Holy Cow! Amazing how the stones were a completely different color.
New to your channel 🙂
Interlaced POV, especially when you show it at natural speed for a few seconds, with the wide shots makes for a dynamic video that is pleasing to watch.
The star of that courtyard was the planter, and your soft wash treatment on the stones will help it brighten up, and it looks great to everyone else but you (all of us that do stuff like this see flaws in our work). I'm also confident that the dirt was not as old as you think, but a good 30 years at least (past due for some love in any case)
Great job! I'm sure the parishioners appreciated all your hard work. 😍
i really like the POV angle, would love more! :)
Another incredible transformation Sid! 👏🏻🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Given that it's potentially the first clean in 123 years, I'd say you did a phenomenal job on it. Expecting to clean up 123 years of grime in one go would be a stretch. Are you planning on giving it a touch up when you low pressure steam the walls?
Champagne popping congratulations on 100k Sid
Your amazing 👏
