FRUGAL TIP: if you go on vacation and want to buy and extra suitcase to take extra bagels home, go to salvation army or goodwill or any local thrift store and look for and repurpose a lightly used one,for WAY cheaper.
Um sometimes the travel and getting the luggage thrown around as they do could actually do more harm
I love Aldi! Single homeschooling mom here - and I just went to Aldi today and a week’s worth of food for my menu for $86. My weekly budget menu consists of:
Meat Monday (burgers, meatball subs, etc)
Taco Tuesday
Wednesday - We grab CFA in the way home from church
Thursday - Breakfast for dinner
Friday - Pizza
Soup Saturday
Sub Sandwich Sunday
We swap out and switch around at times...like adding in a pasta meal. But this keeps it simple! And having items like tacos once a week doesn’t get old for my crew!
During back to school weeks they also have good deals on school supplies, you might want to be on the lookout to stock up. :)
That Aldi was amazing. I’m still sad I couldn’t take a bunch of that Isle of shame stuff home as well. Thanks for hooking me up with the gnomes!
I was so excited to see you in this! I wasn’t ready!
I was looking forward to all the different versions you are going to come up with after watching Jamerrill first :)
I subscribe to both of you! 😁
The Aisle of Shame is my favorite!!
I was so excited to see you there!
A friend of mine refuses to go to Aldi because she has to {gasp} bag her own groceries. She also complains that the cashiers are too quick throwing the food.
I have no problem bagging my own groceries (and bringing my own bags) and the cashiers may be quick but I only see them moving the food quickly, not damaging it. I will save $$ any day!
I have a coworker who refuses to go to Aldi because of the quarter you put in the cart. He feels there disrespecting him by doing that so he will pay more elsewhere.
The best thing is you can place your grocery in the order you want to get scanned the harder things first the softer things last
@@lovelife7343 wow.
@@lovelife7343 that not understandable where i life it is totally normal that you put a coin in the cart or ou have a playtic coin to get it free to buy things cause otherwise they would left everywhere like in america^^
@@lovelife7343 hilarious!!!
"You would be there Aldi time!" Hahahahaha! Made me chuckle! Also, I now need a pantry stock-up roadtrip to Aldi! 😁😁😁
That was SUCH a good pun!
I loved that too
They have Keychains that hold your quarter for the cart and this last time they had them I got the one that said I'm at Aldi Aldi time. I absolutely love my Aldi and I go once a week. Wednesdays 😉 thanks for this video!!
I got to go to My first Aldi on vacation last week! My mom and I encountered one about 300 miles into our trip! The car looked like the Beverly Hillbillies truck on the way home!
Hahaha that’s the best description!!
I did the same thing! Lmao
I find Aldi varies from store to store, and even from week to week. If you're super flexible with menus and what you want to buy, it can be a huge money saver.
The aisle of shame gets me EVERY time.
I’ve learned more about money, savings, food prices and just home things from this lady and others than my actual college finance classes, high-school home economics classes and my parents. Thank you for this!
In Missouri we have an Aldi's on every corner..I never go! 🙋 To your friends ❣️
As someone said on Jamerril’s post… it feels like all my friends got together and didn’t invite me! 😃
Business trip? Looks like fun to me!
Our family gets at least 80% of our groceries from Aldi. We love love love Aldi! The crazy fun part about shopping every week is the aisle of shame changes every single week.
I work for aldi if you like but a bunch we have five aisles as opposed to a normal supermarket so this means things are done seasonally. Also your "aldi finds" items are just that finds they come and go! You love it buy a bunch my advice!
Candles are 100% worth it. have one next to my computer desk at all times.
I have already been following Jameriel and love her but I had never seen Farmhouse on Boone. Omg, I love her, I can’t binge her videos fast enough. Thank you for doing this and sharing the love!
Moved out-of west coast and found out about Aldi....oh....my.....i have been shopping there since.
When I moved from TN to FL 2 years ago, our grocery costs went up over $400 a month because of how expensive Florida is. The only option we had was Publix and Walmart. Nothing against Walmart I just find it to be so much more time consuming and chaotic. We fortunately got an Aldi last year and that helped so much. With rising costs of groceries, I am not shopping exclusively at Walmart because even Aldi has gotten to be quite a bit more expensive. Plus…the aisle of shame got me every time 😂 i will say, nothing beats the price, options, and quality of fruit down here though. Love your videos!
I feel ya about the Wal-Mart chaos. It doesn’t register to me as much as it does to my husband. But I def go in there fir those 10 lb bags of chicken and a box of breaded fish filets. The Aldi fish sticks barely have any in the package.
Christine, Lisa, and Jamerrill all together! What a hoot! Look out, Florida!
Yes get the candles! They are the best, get the big ones with 3 wicks, worth the price and last a while
Yes their candles are worth every penny
I LOVE the Aldi candles. They used to be $3 and it was sooo worth it. I prefer these for my classroom :)
I got a great deal on the smaller size aldi candles about 3 months ago (.89 cents each) and ordered some stickers from etsy and used them for favors for my daughter's wedding shower which was last week. People loved them !
Australia currently has a lettuce shortage due to recent floods. Our Woolworths (in a small country town) has heads of iceberg lettuce for $6.99 (US$4.85). Punnets of strawberries are $7.50 and blueberries are as high as $14 for 250 gms! 😱
We don’t have Aldi in Oregon either and I finally got to go to one in California this April. I could not believe the low prices, it was the most exciting part of my trip!
The candles are worth every single penny. Very comparable to Bath and Body Works!
I second this!! We love them!
My husband and I love the candles.
I found some reduced to $1.49 about a month ago.
I agree!!!
Agree 100% LOVE Aldi candles!
A lot of the aldi in Chicago suburbs mark down their bakery items half price or $1 or $2 off when they get close to the sell by date. Sometimes I get lucky and hit the jackpot!! The only problem is fitting all the deals in my freezer 😆
I love that a bunch of my favorite UA-camrs all got together! This is also making me miss my ALDI. I’m hoping the PNW will get some one day 🤞
I actually bought the silicone gloves for brushing and washing my dog! Gentle and she loves grooming time now 🦮 I have also used them to bathe our horses🌻 Thanks Christine and friends!
Brilliant!!
@@FrugalFitMom this also is a huge savings instead of buying from a pet supply or tack shop 🌻
Good idea! Do you think they would work on cats as well?
@@ultramagapatriot5874 I think they might- they are soft and if your cat tolerates petting it definitely helps with seasonal shedding. My kitty K. Mittens likes it much better than a brush. Best wishes 🌻
@@juliemariariley3212 thank you so much! I will see if they still have some. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
The naan at aldi has twice as many in the pack as Kroger. Also, when they do the 1$ or 2$ off, I stock up!!
Girlfriend!!!! Aldi's is my main source of groceries, I love it!!! I'm glad you are able to experience this fabulous store. In 2016 while in Wales, we stumbled upon Aldi's...I was so excited to see a familiar store that knew would have quality groceries for a great price. I LOVE Aldi's!
Stock pile the candles well worth it
I just want to let you know how much I enjoy your vlogs. I love your sense of humor & your take on shopping tips & recipes. I appreciate it when I can laugh through a vlog!!
Aaawe I love it!! You ladies are amazing!!!! Drove 40 minutes to my nearest Aldi got a brisket and going to attempt overnight oven brisket and zucc’s from my garden 🥰
The Candles are awesome and smell good for the whole burn time plus they do not burn very quickly. The lemongrass is my all time fave.
I love your excitement for aldi haha it's palpable through the screen even here in Aus !
Thank you for educating us on where to find good bargains on food for our families! I enjoy each one of your videos.
The candles are 100% worth it! They smell awesome and burn great!!
Got a preview of your trip from Jamerrill!! You are right about Aldi being better than Dollar Tree. I have a hard time not getting all the goodies in the aisle of shame. And I love finding clearance stickers there! I recently found raisin bread for $.79 a loaf. 😍
When the special buys are 75% off I get very excited. I got some mushrooms for 15p last week even though we don't eat them but my MIL was very grateful!
Oh my gosh!! I love it when UA-cam works collide!! I love Lisa from Farmhouseonboone! 😍😍😍
This video made me so thankful I have an Aldi around the corner!
Aldi candles are worth every penny! The throw is amazing matter fact if you saw the big huge one I bought that one
Love your excitement! I'm an Aldi fan. Not to make you jealous but I have two Aldi stores near me.
Another good store is Grocery Outlet. It's not a mainstream market; I enjoy walking the isles and finding deals on organic, vegan, vegetarian, and keto foods.
I love my Aldi! My son is still a Walmart fan. Has anyone experienced the change at Walmart? No cashiers!!!! All self serve registers! Hate it!!!. Thanks for letting me share. ❤️
Yes all self checkout at mine in CDA Idaho so dumb
I've hated walmart since they sold out to china
Aldi’s candles are wonderful. Worth every penny. The throw is wide, much better than Goose Creek!!!
Aldi candles are amazing!!! The scents are amazing and last. I buy all of my candles there now.
I bought the scrubbing gloves for our camper and they are a GAME CHANGER when washing dishes while camping. Paid more at Wal-Mart because that was the only place I ever saw them. I have to go buy a few pairs to give out as hostess gifts for my fellow country neighbors. That Aldi's is better than my Ballwin, MO location...I would drive to Florida for an Aldi grocery trip.
For years I didn't have an Aldi, then one popped up about an hour & a half away so I've only been once. Last week we found out or Entenmann's Bakery Outlet closed BUT they are turning it & a few other stores in that strip mall into an Aldi! So now it will be like 35 minutes from my house 10 minutes from my job! So excited. I hope they are opened in time for the Advent calendars!
Oh my goodness I love that you guys are friends. I watch all of these channels. It was such a fun video to see you all together.
they way you feel in Aldi is the way I feel going to a store in ANY OTHER country than Iceland :') so excited
Did you know that Aldi was founded in my homecountry Germany. I Love Aldi.
Welcome to Florida! 🌞🌴🍊
Hope everyone had a great time!
Those candles are just as good as B&BW for a fraction of the cost. I love them!
Christine on location: we have an Aldi so you have to come see me in Phenix City, AL! You are so good for my health because laughter is medicine. Corny jokes are my jam, girl. Thank you so much for the walkthrough with your crew (cute babies rule) and stay safe and be Blessed.
You inspired me! I have Aldi everywhere and have gone there but didn't see the attraction until this video! Friday night it took trips to two different stores but I was able to find the 10lb bag of chicken quarters. Since I figured the bag was once frozen, I did a cook-a-thon this weekend and made 3 dishes which I have portioned and frozen for my self and to bring to Dad this weekend. I also picked up other things but most became aware of prices. While I thought I was being frugal buying boneless chicken at Costco, I realized I can save even more. I'm going to start a running list of what I buy to become more aware of what I pay for items.
Holy Cow!!! I love Farmhouse on Boone! Love her!! How fun for you!! What a great field trip. I am headed to Florida in August, sounds like we'll need to hit up an Aldi 😉
The really great thing about ground turkey (meat) patties in addition to great prices, is the ability of a quick meal plan when "you forgot to pull something out of the freezer." In addition, you can save by reducing the amount you use; perhaps you only use 3/4 of a pound instead of a pound, or a pound and a 1/4 instead of two pounds.
Blue Bell ice cream is usually in the “special items” freezer section at the front of the store
Loved your video trip to Aldi in FL!! You are so cute and funny! When we moved to TN a year ago we chose our home about 4 miles from Aldi. I cannot imagine life without ALDI...best store in the USA!!!!
GET THE CANDLES!!!!! They are just as good as bath n body works.
Yes all fresh fruits and vegetables can go on carry-on as long as it's a domestic flight.
You ladies had a blast together! Love it. loved the end!
Love Aldi and the aisle of shame. The candles are awesome.
I buy their candles a lot; They're fantastic.
I can’t believe y’all were all in Florida for a UA-cam mom get together and Kim Wadsworth wasn’t there. I did appreciate the Kim Walk in the store tho
Totally agree Kim is the true MVP of UA-cam moms. No one even compares!
@@cathiespencer9826 I think she is the queen of fake moms.
Isn't Kim very pregnant?
@@debbykidd9813 well yes but that’s never stopped her I mean do u watch her channel that woman does everything lol
@@Bex-rg8pj you have no idea what your talking about Kimberly whisk is the absolute best of the best I immediately thought to say your in Florida find Kim she’s amazing
Hey....the Huntington Homes candles are pretty good. Did you know they are from the same factory that produces BBW. Yup.
I noticed Kim’s fun walk and a couple other things in the last few videos that are from Kim. I never think to go to ALDI. Thank you for all the tips on the different hauls and your awesome recipes! 🤗
Switching to shopping at Aldi primarily cut out grocery budget nearly in half. My beer snob husband will even drink the beer they have there.
I absolutely love my Aldi. When I do my grocery shopping it's always the first store that I go to because I can save so much money.
I am from Florida I know live in Pennsylvania. ...and when I saw plant city strawberry in this Aldi's. I got so excited. My 2 boys were born in plant city. Awesome to see you in Florida
I loved this video!!! Im so glad you got to go to Aldis!!! We are fortunate to have Aldi and Lidl here in North Carolina. I also loved that you got to hang out with some AWESOME UA-camrs.
I live in Las Vegas. I'm not driving to California to go to Aldi, not with gas at $5.35 a gallon here and higher in Cali.
My hubby and I are sitting here laughing and repeating your jokes and slapping high-fives. 🤣 We love our Aldi's!
I am SO glad you got to experience Aldi! Now you know why people who know, rave! it really is a great grocery store. Definitely buy another suitcase! lol I don’t like bringing hubby when there’s something down the aisle of shame that i want to pick up - i get ‘the look’. ha! P.S. - loving the mom jokes the past few videos. 😆 enjoy your time in FL
I drive roughly 100 miles to ge to the nearest aldi to save money on groceries once a month not sure with gas prices if I'm actually saving . But we Love Aldi
I love Lisa. She is just so sweet and all her babies!!
As a fellow idahoian I understand. The first store I go to when I land in Europe or back east. We definitely need an Aldi.
Ooooooooooooooooooo love my Aldi's (about a mile from me!!!) I shop there all the time.
I love your ENERGY and quick humor .....
HELLO FROM TAMPA BAY I have 4 Aldi within 20 minutes of my house, 2 within 5 minutes. It's rare that I shop elsewhere. I only goto Walmart for toiletries, paper goods, jumbo frozen veggies, cleaning supplies (shame on you dollar tree). Sooo happy with ALDI ❤
I’m in the uk and my fav candle in the world is the Aldi No1, it smells incredible and the smell lasts!
Oh, Also, I have that huge candle! It is AMAZING! I plan on refilling it when I burn it down with my own candle making supplies :) Can't buy a container that large on my own!
The candles at Aldi are amazing!!! So worth the money. The throw is great! I have never seen Bluebell at our Aldis here in Central Florida.
I have an Aldi 2 stoplights away. I love Aldi and ours is clean and the workers are so nice. We have the Spring rolls in Minnesota. Hop on that plane, you’re welcome to come here and stock up!!! Love your channel!
Aldi is my first grocery stop always! If I can’t get it there then I got to Walmart…love that place!!
I have a whole collection of Aldi candles... sooo yeah get them.
I’m so glad you showed the Girl Scout adjacent cookies. They’re so good!
I love Aldi! Most of my grocery shopping is there. Only food item at my Midwest Aldi that is better at DT is fruit preserves. But I haven't been to DT in ~8 months.
I live in Florida and the Aldi's near me in Clearwater said that they only sell the Blue Bells Ice Cream in a sheet cake at 1/2 size. Other stores here have the ice cream. Love you show.
We had brought 40 avocados from San Diego to Maine in our carry-on without an issue. Love Aldi!!
1) I would have died to have seen the 3 of you at Aldi. Seriously would have nerded out
2) sazón 💯!!!
3) Aldi organic cotton king size sheets $30 - I buy them anytime I see them. So worth it!
4) one of
My favorite buys at Aldi is their organic margarita pizza in the frozen section. Piled up with some garden fresh basil and sun dried tomatoes * 😘 * chef’s kiss
Soddy Daisy Tennessee still has the spring rolls!!! I hope they don’t discontinue them because my daughter LOVES them!!!
I Love my Aldi I have 5 within 10 to 30 minutes depending which direction you go. My kids like thé cinnamon raisin min bagels. On the 10lb bag of chicken quarters I got it last week for 4.52 a bag. I usually make 5 to 6 freezer bag. I take all the trimmed fat and skin and add a onion and make 2 to 3 containers of broth. On the candles are pretty good. Fallon on her channel talks about the candles alot. Some of there produce you have to be careful it goes bad real fast. They have at mine a stand up planter for 20. Great video.
Catching up on videos today, I don't comment often but girl I could FEEL your excitement at Aldi 🤣 also I noticed a Plant City Farms sign in their produce dept. We get their strawberries in East TN stores sometimes - they are THE best, sweetest ever!
Just got my FFM t shirt love, love, love it! ( I am silently correcting your grammar) I shop Aldi every week. The candles are so worth it get you some lol. It was so amazing to see my 3 favorite people together. I had such great fun with you all.
Cucumbers in New Zealand right now are $6. What I would give for affordable food
I agree and Kim just lives over the Big Bay from me. if she would have told us she was coming to Florida a bunch of us would have been more than glad to give you a suitcase.
Aww, I love Lisa!! She’s taught me everything lol.
Florida here! Love my Aldi! You missed out on the Uno Flip game. We bought that a week or two ago, so much fun! Definitely going to check out the Killer Uno rules. Thanks for another great video!
We are lucky enough to have 4 Aldi stores within 25 minutes of home-3 of them are only 15 minutes away. On my last trip I picked up the gardening gloves(so good!) a wide brim gardening hat, and some crocs knockoffs- all for under $20!
We just got our first Aldi's here in Pensacola! I can't wait to go!!!
Australian here, so difference in perspective incoming. I have an Aldi about an hour away, and I never go in there. I tried it once, just to see, and the quality of everything I got was awful. Meat smelled bad, fruit and veg weren't fresh, the snacks tasted stale and the cute jacket I got for my niece came apart just a few weeks later. So while I'm super glad Christine found a great store with some amazing deals, just be aware that the international offerings aren't always quite so amazing.
