Hey sir. I was able to use Dropbox to file all my mp3s. I use Dropbox for Serato, but was able to use Dropbox via DJ Pro. This far it’s works well without having to use the thumb drive. For emergencies, I have my T7 solid state drive. Great video btw💪🏾
Thank you Logic… What would you say the pros and cons are with using djay pro vs serato. I know you use both but is djay pro easier to incorporate iTunes and other music platforms. And finally does using windows instead of Mac really make a difference when djing with any dj software. Thank you again for all your Insights and Inspiration 🙏🏿
i tried this way, but after you copied files in Serato Crates to USB , it'll automatically generate another duplicates in that crates, no ? so i have to rescan the crate and get rid of the duplicates after i ejected the usb
if djay could read serato crates from an external drive so you didnt have to update for each program id move to djay tomorrow. spent too many years building crates with serato to change now...
On the Mac, the Serato crates are already there. Using the three-dot menu below the collection tabs, you can toggle each of the collections to display or hide in the tab list. "My Crates" is your Serato crates.
@@logisticalstyles But there is almost nothing there. I was going to import them, but it says change file location and I don't want it messing up my Serato, thanks for any help..
The iPad version doesn't pull in your serato crates. The Macbook version shows your Serato crates. What method are you using to update your Serato Crates from your laptop to your iPad?
Logic I think I can safely assume that you are Pro Apple when it pertains to Hardware. I use Windows products mainly laptop, computer etc. but iPhones are the devices my family and I use. When you have time would you explain to me why Apple is more respected and utilized in the dj community than Windows products? Thank you my Brother 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Great instructional sir! Would this create doubles though?
This would only create doubles if you already have the music on your iPad via iTunes sync, or if you have the same songs in multiple crates.
This was helpful thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

I agree. I think it's strange that the desktop app can read Serato crates but the mobile apps can't.
Can serato read the djay crates?
does anyone how to do this just from Serato to deejay on Mac?
