I agree on off switches are rally worth it. I can see why they don't include them on micro drones to save weight but I guess for most other vehicles a tiny switch would make life easier.
Great Job Saylor Fam! I just maidened mine ystrdy, and had a blast with it! I had some extra 3.7 750 mAh 25c batts., & they worked out just fine!

I've seen this plane in other videos, it flies amazingly well for what it is. I never in a million years thought this would fly, let alone fly well with 4 motors, and no ailerons or rudder. Like you said, it makes you wonder why a $100 rtf plane can do all this, but a $300 eflite with a $1000 spektrum cant...
That looks interesting and fun. Had it come out last year it would be $40 cheaper! ha. Oh well, it's still a lot more aircraft for the money than we had years ago. I know when I first started flying, anything to get going was hundreds and hundreds for electric brushed, no brushless. I guess the moral is, be thankful for where we are now with options and prices because options like this are truly amazing for what they are.
Might have to put this on my short list to pick up. Great video and flight guys, it's cool to see you have so much fun.

It's a fun little ship! I just maidened mine yesterday, and it's a little rocket! The Gyro helps a lot, and if you have little to no R/C experience, it's what I would call an intermediate flyer?!?

I had forgotten to watch this before. Pretty cool plane. The best thing about it is the way it looks on the stick (some people call them stands, but I'm a USAF veteran and I call them sticks:)). I think I'll give it a miss, but it is really cool. This is why I pay attention to y'all. I learn about things I hadn't heard of and I get honest opinions on them and all the things I have heard of as well. My opinions occasionally vary now that I've gotten more into the hobby. But you guys are OG RC from my angle.

I agree with Nate! We need stands for our UMX planes, and power switches for all planes. That way you can take your time to Velcro the battery and check cg while not wasting any battery power. Or even leave the battery plugged in while bringing the plane to the field so you just flip a switch and fly with no struggles at all!
I bought that planned recently and it's an absolute blast, it's a must-have.

Cant believe how far this has come, when I started ARFs were balsa and covering and 72 mhz radios...lipos werent even heard of yet. NOW? I have a small fleet of eflite everything all run on a DX8.... night timber x, opterra 2m, aeroscout, umx turbo timber etc...just awesome stuff really well made. This little thing looks like a blast too...ands its something different. Im getting it!
That looks a really neat and well thought out model,ie including a stand is a really nice touch for sure, as it looks nice! Amazing how the entry level end of the hobby is getting so much better .

@@grrfy Yeah but it looks more scale because of it and probably flies better TBH. Four heavy fans just isn't required here. The WL toys A120 (A380 airbus) flies about the same, and can be had for about 40 bucks, even domestically.
The QF-008 Definitely looks the best/scale out of the bunch.

The main reason power switches are not found on pricier hobby-grade airplanes is because of the high-current demands that powerful electric motors put on switch contacts. In addition to being an unnecessary potential point-of-failure, high-current capable switches are heavy and expensive.

That is very cool!! Thanks for the video. I always wanted to fly an rc plane. The only plane I ever flew was back in the late 60’s and it had strings attached to it. It had a gas engine that caught fire while I was flying it!!! Hahahahaha crash and burn!!My brother in law is flying RC now and has been encouraging me to try it. He said for me to get a decent plane I would spend about $200 and 200 on a controller. Then I found your previous video with the Boeing 787 that almost flies by it self and it’s $60. I think I’ll start with that..😜😜

I agree that every new plane or jet should come with an on/off switch as well as a stand but my biggest request is that they’re all made out of the same indestructible material this jet is or like the HLK-31 630mm jet is! That would make flying a lot less stressing for Beginners.
I'm so glad that you are showing off this new plane I had attempted to put four engines on the regular one I'm glad this plane came out but you need to speak to the factory and let them know it is way too much too little too cheap for that amount of money even if you can get a discount

I want my shout out dang it! I recommended this to y'all months ago. Even sent the picture on banggood. You commented on it I think. I've been on this thing forever. Got mine for like $70. Best $70 rc ever. Oh and you can rip those motors off on belly landings without the landing gear. I learned the hard way. But a little hot glue fixed it.
Nice looking jet, does fly well. Nate crashes a full powered plane, Abby, Sun 🌞blind And low power still manages a good landing you could walk away from. Way to go Abby. I like that it's rtf, but 130 seems just a bit steep overall. The engines sounded like 10 thousand Mosquitoes 🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟 or was that just the Mosquitoes 🦟🦟🦟🦟by you eating you alive.😁😁😁. The old Parkzone Minium micros had stands that were mounted on the battery charger.

I can't call it a deal at 130 while comparing it to the review you guys did on the 30 dollar "rtf"( glue the entire thing together) Boeing from banggood, maybe if you could turn the gyros off and she had a little more umph to it, wonder if changing to 3 blade tiny drone props would help. Big planes don't have on and off switch because they're too heavy. They need to be very strong and heavy in order to digest the strong current. That's why cars have them because weight doesn't matter, small airplanes have them too because the current is so low they can be lightweight.

My father worked for the flight simulated apartment of TWA back on the seventies. And the simulators were exactly specified to be exactly like flying the plane in all characteristics except I'll characteristics except you're not in a plane you're in a simulator. People have done loop be loops on 747 simulators successfully it's so late we've out It's wings falling off.

I have many RC planes mostly between 45 to 55" wingspan all electric. I bought this plane based on your video and recommendation. I have flown it a few times so far and it is a lot of fun. I just tried getting two more batteries for it from Banggood but the day after placing the order I received an email that the battery order was cancelled. I would get a few from a vendor on Amazon but it appears that the connections on the plane and the batteries ordered from Banggood are a unique style, they appear to have smaller holes than those I see are readily available. Please tell me the name of the type of battery terminal connection is for this model.
I'm also waiting for Nate to answer your question about battery connector type and vendor availability 🤔
