"That's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for him."
😂
Thanks Ethan , Ethan and Ethan for this fine coverage of superior marksmanship 😅
Please tell Ethan, Ethan, Ethan, and Ethan that I enjoyed this video immensely!! Well done!
Hey Ethan, tell Ethan, Ethan and the other Ethan that this was an excellent video and I may or may not have a score similar to yours with my Charleville.
Signed, Ethan
😂
I needed this. I’m going into surgery tomorrow morning and this was just what I needed. Thank you.
Praying for an easy surgery for you. I've worked with a lot of surgeons over the years, I bet you are in good hands!
Well done using a never shot smoke pole. Give my thanks to all the efforts of the Ethan's.
Laughter heals almost all wounds. Thanks Ethan this was amazing and couldn't have been easy in post production. #inspired
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Ethan(s)! I got a good chuckle from the "blow by blow" banter & commentary! It had more than a passing resemblance to when I step up to shoot and my brothers are "observing" my performance! (Sigh! And yes... I return the favor!) Mr. Kaufman of Pennsylvania makes an OUTSTANDING firearm... soooo... I can only (sadly) conclude that the low score must be the fault of the loose screw behind the buttplate! On the other hand... there is cause for hope. It is nothing that cannot be solved with practice... more practice... and even more practice! Your movements when reloading were smooth, fast, & no misfires. That is a pretty solid foundation to build on for future victories down the road! Take Care & Thanks for Sharing!
Thank you Martin! Always good to hold onto those memories!!
A very entertaining video that Ethan made about Ethan shooting a muzzleloader with commentary from Ethah and Ethan.😂
HILARIOUS characterization of the TV personalities!
Another "winner" of a video at least! Thanks to all Ethans involved!
👍 Absolutely made me want to go to the range with my Pedersoli Northwest Trade Gun. Thank you for the inspiration.
GET GOING!!
Thank you Ethan for such great reporting about Ethan!
This was truly fun . Thank you Ethan ,Ethan and Ethan . You can see how fowling affected each shot
🤣🤣🤣. The most enjoyable sports commentary I’ve seen in a while!
Ethan, Ethan and Ethan I love it!
So … we’re dealing with threethan
Very well done.
Enjoyed it.
All three! 😂
Amazing loved how it was filmed 😂
That was really fun Ethan...and Ethan...and Ethan! Thanks for that video. Now I'm waiting on a video on that NW Trade Gun built by Brian.
TC
Coming soon!
I needed a good laugh. Thanks to all the Ethans.
Wow your mom had a hand full with the three of you! Great entertainment,,thanks.
She’s a saint
Haha, that was awesome!
Thanks! 😁
That is the best. Love it man love it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant, we need to be able to laugh at ourselves. Great job. 😂
This is gold Jerry! Gold!
I love the sports announcer concept. I would have liked to have seen the #1 fan go wild when the one shot hit the target.
Ethan, LOL that was epic! More laughs that I've had in a while. You are a good and humble man.
Happy to bring some laughs to the world
Hahaha "HI we are Ethan, and we love muzzle loading" lol ,did you have fun? That is what counts. Happy Easter!
So much fun
Ethan and Ethan really play off each other well. If only Ethan could have heard the commentary while he was shooting
Great job by his brother Ethan and his other brother Ethan.
Absolutely hilarious commentary 🤣 😂
As a fellow Ethan, I really appreciate this video.😂
Excellent story boarding and execution! Great video!
Thanks so much!
Man you guys put a lot of work in that. Plus let's not forget the behind the scenes crew. 😂
It takes an army, LOL
Very nice. Way to not take it too seriously. Fun.
LOL this was hilarious. Also, i respect the insane amount of time it took to film and edit all of this and make it look cohesive. Awesome kit you're wearing as well.
Thanks a ton!
I enjoy the format.
This is the best thing on UA-cam currently IMO
Hilarious. Love your channel Ethan.
Thank you Aggie!
Excellent idea for a video. The field reporter has a great radio voice too. 50-yards is a tough shot, especially offhand. Thanks for the fine content.
Nice creativity on this one.
Figured it couldn't get worse ;)
What a fun video. I love it.
Good job, Ethans!
You can always count on Ethan, Ethan and Ethan to bring you the best in Muzzleloading coverage. But I'm curious what hotdog stand Ethan's thoughts were.
Now that was entertaining! Thanks you To all the Ethan’s…
😂 that was fun!
Thanks king 🤴
This is one of the most entertaining videos I’ve watched in a long time and a good reminder I need to do this challenge. I keep talking about it but so far it’s just been talk…
You can do it!
That made my day... good job brother!
Lol.. cute Ethan... Valiant effort
Loved that! Happy Easter Keep them coming.
Well done , fun😊
Nice video!!
😂😂 that was great! Happy Easter!
Same to you
Hilarious loved it
Dude that cracked me up
Interesting... I've got a TVM Fowler, it's also a .62 smoothie, and to get mine to shoot, I have to use big charges of 110 grains of powder under a bare .60 caliber ball and I usually put a nitro card over the ball, but cut paper also works. That's the only way I've been able to get mine to shoot, but with this, it's pretty much dead on out to about 60 paces or so.
Yes
😂😅The format was awesome!
I don't know Ethan. It looks like you have a new and improved version of "Larry, Daryl and my other brother Daryl" going on there! LOL Wait this just in! It's the "Immaculate Connection!" In the waning minutes, Ethan has struck the 8 ring.
Kudos to the fantastic production of the CFC video. I've been wanting to buy a muzzleloader for a while, but I don't know if I have the creative talent which, after watching this video, I assume if a prerequisite for BP shooting 😛
You were making flintlocks great again! Love your layout of the video. Being in Wisconsin I am curious where the mugs are made
Good job - pretty funny! ...Thanks! Thankfully "the Ethan's" aren't with me recording and doing a play-by-play for my shooting 🤣
Hard to do any good with them around!
LOL. This is great.
Good one.
I got a kick out of this one.
I’m glad!
Lmao. That was awesome Buddy. My wife was busy & could only hear what was going on, & all she hears is ,(Ethan Ethan Ethan Ethan Ethan), & she finally had to come watch the rest of the video to understand. & Happy Easter Buddy.
That's awesome! Did she laugh or roll her eyes?
@@ILoveMuzzleloading she started laughing once she figured out that the entire video was just you & not a bunch of guys named Ethan. Lol
I like the new glasses
Jason Gatliff was a great help
Obviously Ethan was rattled because he could hear Ethan, Ethan’s brother Ethan and Ethan’s other brother Ethan laughing in the background.
Ethan honors the spirit of the Olympic Games.
That was great . You have just put up a new standard for UA-cam
I’ve found the video gets 1.2x better if you hum the Olympic theme while you watch
Hey Ethan, I recently bought one of those northwest trade guns from military heritage, do you happen to know what size flint I should use in it? I'm relatively new to all this flintlock stuff, but I'm really into it, I enjoy your videos, take care bud thanks.
I don't, but you might ask the 11 bang bang guys, they have one I think
You made this old dude laugh until I farted..... I hope!
Of WHERE!? homie. Yous muh homie! Haha.
Goofy bastard. This is a good-good.
At some point, I really want a flintlock of some description.
They're just cool, they just need extra stuff.
Are you guys brothers 😂. Thought it was great.
Aim small miss small.
Holy smokes...that was too dang funny. Makes me wonder if there was some other type of smoke besides what was coming out of that smoke pole!!! Just kidding, what a great video.
LOL, none of that here, just an oddball sense of humor 😅
Lol this is funny.
I was getting nervous that you were going to miss that last shot and maybe end your public life for shame. Phew!
You'd think with so many Ethans, his accuracy would've been better.
They guy can’t shoot, I tell ya
Wow Jim carry lol
Ethan and his other brother Ethan.
I have no idea why you use so light of loads ! especially on a 69 cal. triple the powder and try it again or at least double the powder.... I shot 120 grain of 3F in my CVA 50cal hawkins
and it was extremally accurate I tried all the way up to 225 grains and did not notice any change in accuracy but I went back to 120 grains because that was what I shot in my revolvers... and 225 grains goes through the powder so much faster (LOL )
a fella that got me into black powder used a empty 12 gauge shot gun shell for his powder measurer..... I have no idea how many grains that is but probably double of the highest load I ever did..... because after a point it's just wasting powder !
We were shooting about 1/2 mile away..... you could tell when and where the bullets hit even from that distance ( we were blowing the bark off a dead tree)....
I've always wanted a 69 cal long rifle in black powder.... finding a mould might be difficult for that size.....
I did make a 1" bore shotgun for black powder.... inline hammer and white oak stock that I took off the Ranch property some 15 years ago....it's a BIG gun.... but I have not shot it yet
i haven't seen caps for sale anywhere for the last 5 years around here... it gets to a point of why bother looking ya know !..... hay...that might make a great candidate to convert that gun into flint lock ! ..... never thought of that. HA !
What revolver were you shooting that you could get 125 grains of powder into the cylinder?
@@ILoveMuzzleloading it was also a CVA navy pistle of some sort the powder came up to about 1/2" from the top of the cylinder so when I pressed in the ball the balls were flush with the top of the cylinder....
that is how I shot that gun from day one never had a problem with it
it was .44 cal. I did have a few double fires before I started putting lard over each of the balls to keep out the sparks when fired... that is not a tight fitting gun... but it does work good adding grease or lard to the balls after they were loaded cured all that problem. I used No# 11 caps on it without changing the nipples( i think it had #10 nipples) because that is what I had for my hawkins. I had the brass powder flask with different threaded in tips for different powder charges and I really liked it just turn it upside down with your finger covering the top of the tube and press the lever, release and you have your powder ready to be dumped into the gun. quick no separate measuring and
by far faster re-load time. I had a 120 nipple and 220 nipple for that powder flask if I remember correctly, I used the smaller one for the pistols and the larger one for the 50 cal Hawkins.... then I just started using the smaller one for everything to conserve powder as powder was getting really hard to find. this was back in the 1980's I sold all my black powder stuff to a dear friend of mine when I moved.... something I have regretted every sense... their the best thing for target practicing !
I used store bought patches , lubed with lard for the most part, the revolvers used the pressed in methos so there was no need for a patch.
I had a 50cal cap and ball pistol as well and it needed a patch too
I found that sharpening the forward sight to a point helped the most for accuracy. putting the very tip of that point on target level with the back sights and centered put that ball dead on target !
Hilarious
😂😂👍
😂That's funny right there!
Don't trust that gun builder, he clearly cant build an accurate smoothbore!
No no, this was all behind the buttplate!!
What was the commentator's name again??? I forgot 😂😂😂
Guy goes by many names ;)
lol
😂
Great video, but worse case of schizophrenia I've ever saw.
The man needs help
