I had both. I went into my JCM 2000 poweramp or to my EVH Stealth poweramp to get rid of the mids wich i didnt like. But other than that it is one of the best amps ever made for metal.
@@DeathMetalDevin im in NY, barely ever see either. Had to drive to PA to grab my engl pro 4x12. He had engl amp but didn't play it. I really want to try the savage.
Great comparison demo man makes me want the 6505+

Gotta use the res and presence for the rhythm section on 6505+ for clean and crunch. Good stuff as usual.
Appreciate it!
Great video! Just got a Fireball 25 and love it. Could you maybe do a video or talk about the amp switcher? Would love to know more.
The resonance knob on the 5150's/ 6505's is brilliant...and
hard to beat...It gives u a clean bottom end boost that is indescribable...
Beautiful, I just got myself an ENGL Fireball and its a beast. Was wondering how it compares to 6505.
Subbed I dig the comparison and like your tone man. Is that a white black winter in your bridge?
I love engl cabs but have almost no experience with their amps.
I'm the opposite, I've never tried an ENGL cab

@@they_arent_human try it, but if u can get a fireball it's all u will ever need from ENGl
@@DeathMetalDevin that is the other one I want to try :) savage and fireball seem best to me.
These two amps are exactly what I’m trying to choose between right now!
@@Muzerino434 well I hope this helped lol
