So, there I was, looking around at a Dodge dealership. When I stumbled upon a scatpack, the glisp of that metal shine tickled my balls. Then out of nowhere, a gentleman arrives asking, "How's it going sir?" With me replying, "Fine, just looking." Then the salesman say's, "wan't to take it for a test drive" which I replied ,"of course, why not!" So I take it, and hours later I buy a car without me realizing it.
MORAL OF THE STORY, DON'T TEST DRIVE THIS!!! OR YOU'LL END UP BUYING IT LIKE I DID. NO REGRATS.

I have watched probably every single video on youtube regarding the 2015 challenger and I must say you do a pretty good job with your videos. This is the first one I seen that features the this color and it looks a lot better than as shown on the dodge webpage

scat pack is where its at. first ive seen those wheels though. very odd to have the black wheels without the scat pack appearance package.. just fyi if you have someone come in looking for one of these be aware they probably know everything about the car. they are very specific shoppers. Also that color is the b5 blue which was just released and VERY sexy.
That chrome gas filler cap really looks out of place with the matte black accents. The satin black fuel filler door should be included with the optional forged wheel package and not just the scat pack appearance group. BTW Plum Crazy will be offered for 2016 models from September through December only
The Chrome cap is a nice touch if you think about it. Paying respects to the '71 that they modeled it after

I have a 16 with the black and gun metal gray combo wheels with a B5 blue color, does look better than these wheels for sure

Question - I saw the window sticker, but does this car have the Super Track Pack, or Mopar lowering springs? It definitely looks lowered compared to other Scat Pack 6.4 Challengers that I've seen. The car sits perfect. Any guidance you have on that would be appreciated. ~Parker
For a modern muscle car the challenger R/T (scat Pack) is the sweet spot in today's market period. Just an amazing car for the money. What more would you want. Dodge is going to sell a ton of these things. Thanks for the review.

That scat pack is sick but I don’t like the fuel door
Why not get the Shaker Edition? Those Scat Pack Shakers are going to be special, and hold their value better than the SRT 392 and Hellcat in my opinion. Originally I was trying to trade in for a Hellcat because I could get 30,000 for my SRT which is in immaculate shape. They closed orders on them and the dealer showed me the Scat Pack Shaker. Nearly bought it when they told me with my trade in out the door it would be 16,100. This car has to be ordered as well, and has to be built. Apparently the higher ups were not happy with selling the car for that much, and a number that came back was 21,000. I love Dodge, but the fact they did that to me I may never buy Chrysler again. I know it seems minimal, but at 16,000 I can see having it paid off in three years. Problem is I do not know where I am going to be in three years with my new career getting under way.

How do you get to review new cars? Do you ask the dealer and tell them that you are a UA-camr who reviews cars? Because, this is pretty cool.
+Sachin David I made this video while I was working at the dealership. I now have a good relationship with a few more dealerships but a lot of dealerships are clueless to the internet.
Can anybody who doesn't work at a dealership review cars like this? Like, what do you have to do or say that will let the dealerships know that you are just reviewing cars, and not actually buying them?
+Sachin David I guess you can try and approach a dealer and see how it goes... you might get lucky!
Having a few sample videos of used cars may help your credibility going in. I have over 600 videos and I still get rejected by clueless managers... so don't take it personally if you get no respect from dealership management.

+CeeStyleDj The SRT has bigger brake calipers, bigger tires and an adjustable suspension but the price is higher.

DARRYL PHILLIPS I don't know, it has been a long time since I have driven in snow. I would guess that it is as capable as any other rwd modern car.
Where do you live? I live in the northeast NJ where winter is harsh at times I had a 1995 impala ss I purchased new in 95 nice ass ride but it was HORRIBLE! in the snow it didn't even have traction control.Plus there were no snow tires available for the car BF Goodrich was the only tire company that made the tires for the car 255/50-17 I checked Tire Rack and they do have a snow tire for your ride a lot the performace cars for 2015 have this snow track option now I know the 2015 Mustang and I think the Camero has it

I went to the dealer yesterday to order my Scat Pack. When he was inputting my options the system was forcing the $1000 option for these butt ugly black wheels. Could not get around it. I spent another $6000 and order a SRT8 because of the ugly wheels. I was trying to keep the price down but I always wanted the SRT8.
It has a little under half tank and only 73 mile range ? Holy crap
kevin T It needs to be driven around to get an accurate reading, full tanks can go around 500 mi range if you don't go crazy, but not going crazy within a 500 mi range... oh shit that would be hard.

Actually most automatics now days are quicker shifting than any manual. But if you're into drag racing all you need to a two speed auto with a trans brake.

Theres only a base and sound group 2. The group 2 adds an 8 inch sub in the rear deck. It sounds noticeably better to me but I can tell small differences.

Hello Mike, I tried to add the 20" x 9" Matte Black Lightweight Forged Alum Wheels for $ 1,000 , but dodge website force me to purchase the "Scat pack stripe group", another $995 or $695 some option. How i can avoid that , and order only with Matte Black Lightweight Forged Alum Wheels for $ 1,000. Thanks for your help in advance, by the way your video is great and this is the first video i noticed the exact car i want, the only thing is missing what i want in this car is Navigation (Uconnect® 8.4AN AM/FM/SXM/HD/BT/NAV) : $695.
The Dodge website is just an estimator.. you may want to sit down with a local dealer and build one with them. Navigation is just a software upgrade for this car.

When i read the newses , i didnt see any power increases. Do you think that extra $4000 is worth, just for shaker hood and air intake. Hope the shakers are not limited this year?
mebin john Yes you can have the dealer service dept add navigation anytime after the sale. I think it is like $600 though. The shaker hood doesn't add any horsepower that I know... however it looks way cooler to me... I would pay the extra money. You can buy a shaker kit from Mopar (through the parts department at your dealer) to install on the car if you want to add it later.
No nav? I can't even seem to find the option for navigation in the configurator on their website...

How do I order this exact package? Dodge Web site does not give color option or wheel option with this strip package. If ordered am I still forced for markup?
Dont go off of what the dodge website says, find the options you want and go to the dealer to see availability. If its not available at the time then wait a month then come back. They go out of availability then come back for the next allotment.
***** Dodge dealers have a Challenger option book! Go to your local dealer and ask for it... I just bought a black Scat Pack... what a beast.

These are only available on the RT plus, R/T Classic, & RT Scat Packs. However, You can buy them from the parts department at the dealership and put them on it after you buy the car if you want.
