Hey Mrs. Gina, you are the best cook on UTube. I really enjoy watching you prepare meals that make you wanna jump through the TV and eat dinner with you and your family. What makes your show great. Well it’s the fact that you’re being you, nothing over the top just some great down home cooking. We need to sign a petition for you to be on Food Network and the Cooking Channel. You’re just as good as the people that have shows, but there’s one Large difference you have and they don’t and that’s Christ. God said it will work out for the good of them that love the Lord. God got you and He has a time slot for you on the Network in Jesus Name Amen 🙏🏾

As a Jamaican and living in jamaica i would give you 9 out of 10 even though i didnt taste it. Ingredients are spot on except for the beans (thats why i took off 1😊) NB we do not use breadcrumbs....we usually allow the stew to reduce and thicken on its own.... for ingredients not to get too soft you could use less stock/water also you could add the vegies a little later after the chicken so that they are not too mushy. You represented our brown stew well. You are a great cook👍

Browning is used throughout the Caribbean to make stew meat including stew chicken. The best taste is making the browning fresh with brown sugar. It is a skill to learn. I am from Trinidad

After coming home from opening game at Yankee statdium, I decide to make your chicken pot pie but my chicken was raw, so I cooked the chicken in with the onions, cream of chicken and mushroom soup... OMG it was delicious. I had my neighbor and her sons over to try it and they almost ate it all. I had to take a leftover slice for me. Yaasss Gina, yaaass! Thank you love for finally making this, just a side note the fresh thyme and scotch bonnet pepper gives it that aunthentic Jamaican flavor and you don't have to use so much of the browning. I thicken my sauce by adding chopped potatoes and carrots. The starch from those two makes for a nice sauce! However, you did an exceptional job👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 And I absolutely love your prayers!

    2) How on earth do you drain off your excess cooking juices without making a HUGE mess?

BEST PART OF ALL....HER PRAYER AT THE END! I was always told not to use so much browning as it can over kill the other flavorings but I pretty much liked this video as she cooks it the way I do except I add more thyme and I also use pimento seeds for the authentic flavor.
