I decided that I would not do anything drastic, instead I’ve added cardio in my daily routine and I eat what I love in moderation. ❤

I’m so interested I just turned 25 it’s like yesterday I was 20 and everyday I’m becoming bigger 😢 I think I was depressed and because I’m a bubbly person I would still laugh and smile but slowly I was dying my room, my hygiene , no friends and always in my room now I work as cleaner , started to clean my room and the house 😊, my hygiene is up and coming, food slowly getting there and now ,new job , exercise and prayer is my next gaol 🎉🎉🎉🎉 inshallah
Sweetie at 25 ENJOY that youth and Vigor life will take you in all ways but always appreciate the body that you're in when you have it when you're young appreciate your young body when you're my age 45 plus appreciate your body appreciate that it's still operates with no assistance as a senior appreciate that your body has brought you this far sweetie do not allow yourself to become upset depressed or anything like that about how your body looks today you have the ability to change that it is in your hands and you can do it if you want to but don't be depressed
Maybe you should check your thyroid and endocrine. It may be hypothyroidism causing weight gain which seems like it may never go away and another sign is depression.

I'm on a weight loss journey, though I'm going after no more than 25 pounds what I lost has caused my cholesterol to drop 4 points, BP, down 8 pts and I do feel free. I do get on the elliptical and walk and read and I lift weights about 3xs a week for only 30 minutes. What I did most about food, was I gave up soda and sweets, hard sweets like selecting dark chocolate over milk chocolate. I still buy ice cream pops but it's smaller in size and I make sure it's dark chocolate. I learned to eat more veggies and make fun colorful foods. I still eat meat but less, I still eat bread but most times its wheat. I'm so, so proud of myself. People have told me "but you're already slim", and I explained I looked slim to the eye to many but my stomach, and waist were not right and those were the parts that were hurting me physically and medically. Now I can bend at the toes and touch the floor where one time I couldn't do it due to my stomach.
Oh my goodness... you guys are killing it... Christina, those cheek bones though.. giving me life...I am happy for you both! I too am on a similar journey! Keep it up, you motivate us all!!!
I’m 26lb down since February. Been the best investment to myself. I can now balance and keep within 2-3 lb of my ideal weight. I’m not gonna say it has been easy especially when you’re older, but well worth the journey 😉🙏🏽

When I tell people I work out, they drop their jaws coz I look visibly slim and fit but they don't know what I was battling. I had sore feet and stiff neck before I started working out. No more pain now and I feel and look great.

Fumi and Christina I'm so proud of both of you. Amazing weight lose for both of you. My daddy always said the same thing "Everything in Moderation" and that's how he lived. Balance is the key in everything you do. Christina I also have Fibromyalgia so I know what you're saying about the Pain. I'm 64 and I also have Fibromyalgia but I was recently diagnosed with having Degenerative Disc Disease in my Lower Back. Its affected my entire left side from my Lower Back/ Hip and Leg. Excruciating Pain. I've put on 15 pounds which I want to lose. I was like you and Fumi. I loved Walking but its become Painful to do. However I'm seeing a new Nuerologist and Pain Management Doctors and am Praying for God's Grace and Wisdom that they'll get me back on track. Please pray for me. My Love to you both! 💋❤

I love this so much Fumi! For a while now I’ve slowly changed my diet but was still struggling to exercise regularly. I been riding horses since elementary school and more recently realized I was getting tired too quickly and was struggling a bit with my riding lessons. The past two months I’ve really buckled down and have gone to the gym up to four days a week consistently. I started out only going 2 days a week then moved it to three and now I’m there 4 days a week. I’m already starting to see I can lift more, do cardio exercises for longer, and my riding has improved.

Congratulations queens. Was on a weight loss journey and finally lost 22 pounds im so thankful. It wasnt easy but I eventually got there. It had been about 6 months that I realised I had reached my goal weight even then I noticed my clothes didn't fit anymore. Most of them are loose now so i need to take them for readjustment or get a new wardrobe. Im excited i can now fit into my new jumpsuit which i had kept for over a year and couldn't wear it at the time Lol and all this has happened just in time for Spring. Next is to focus on a good workout routine. the las 2 pounds i lost just having mostly green smoothies the past 2&1/2 weeks. All along it was mostly intermittent fasting, lots of water and fruit, veggies and crops here and there and I reduced carbs especially breads. Keeping the motivation and inspiration Fumi. We love you and most definitely want to be healthy and happy when I get to my 50s and upwards. Right now in my 30s and I feel like a teenager.
Hello my African sister Fumi and Cherish the both of you are so fabulous, thank you both for your fabulousness. My name is Tracy Encarnacion and I will be 57 on Friday. I’ve befriended some Africans from Nigeria,Eygpt,Sudan, Kenya, Uganda. While I was a student at The Ohio State University I partied with the Nigerian and I enjoyed their culture. Some of the foods are similar to my culture too because I’m from St. Croix USVI in the Caribbean. Folks always say to me you look so young but I’m very achy because I’m over weight. I live in NY but during the pandemic I was in St.Croix. I started walking from the top of the hill down to the beach during the morning because their were curfew by 6pm. One day I saw my cousin’s former girlfriend and we started walking and swimming when restrictions were lessened. Then another lady joined us and we were the three walking ladies. I lost 30 pounds. I returned to NY and over time I gained the weight. Now I’m prediabetic, my cholesterol is high and I’ve developed a heel spur in my right foot. I’m on a new journey now because my boyfriend brought us electric bikes. I’m using my weighs that we’re collecting dust. I’m unable to use my jump rope because of my foot. Thank you ladies for the inspiration and God bless the both of you. I’m going to buy some push up tape too for my 40 I ladies. LOL

I one day just decided this is it no more it’s time to take control and be the woman you feel like inside. Christina, I understand your pain, as my Aunt suffers from Fibromyalgia as well, and I see her pain all the time and I feel helpless. I will say that I agree with you both 100%, that it is a mindset and lifestyle when it comes to losing weight. I myself have been on this journey and have lost 24 lbs and I have never felt better! Like you, I've really enjoyed eating more fruits and vegetables now and not depriving myself of what I crave. I juice a lot now too. My fridge looks like a produce aisle and I love it. My name is Tracy Encarnacion and I will be 57 on Friday. I’ve befriended some Africans from Nigeria,Eygpt,Sudan, Kenya, Uganda. While I was a student at The Ohio State University I partied with the Nigerian and I enjoyed their culture. Some of the foods are similar to my culture too because I’m from St. Croix USVI in the Caribbean.
Folks always say to me you look so young but I’m very achy because I’m over weight. I live in NY but during the pandemic I was in St.Croix. I started walking from the top of the hill down to the beach during the morning because their were curfew by 6pm. One day I saw my cousin’s former girlfriend and we started walking and swimming when restrictions were lessened. Then another lady joined us and we were the three walking ladies. I lost 30 pounds. I returned to NY and over time I gained the weight.
Now I’m prediabetic, my cholesterol is high and I’ve developed a heel spur in my right foot. I’m on a new journey now because my boyfriend brought us electric bikes. I’m using my weighs that we’re collecting dust. I’m unable to use my jump rope because of my foot.
Thank you ladies for the inspiration and God bless the both of you. I’m going to buy some push up tape too for my 40 I ladies. LOL

I’m 52 and three yrs. ago I became a pescatarian, I don’t eat dairy or pasta/sauces. It’s a way of life. I lost 40 lbs and I didn’t even excercise. I just walk. 💃🏻👍🏼🥰🌟💫✨

Fumi it is wonderful that you and Christina are doing your journey together! My friend and I are doing the same! I one day just decided this is it no more it’s time to take control and be the woman you feel like inside. I started dieting and than walking my friend saw the weight coming off me and she wanted to join me. Now we support each other and walk with each other daily! She has lost 15 lbs and I 30! You are so right it is better when you have someone you can do it with.. you support each other through the highs and lows! We are with you and Christina through this life changing journey! I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to you and Christina speak on your weight loss journey. Christina, I understand your pain, as my Aunt suffers from Fibromyalgia as well, and I see her pain all the time and I feel helpless. I will say that I agree with you both 100%, that it is a mindset and lifestyle when it comes to losing weight. I myself have been on this journey and have lost 24 lbs and I have never felt better! Like you, I've really enjoyed eating more fruits and vegetables now and not depriving myself of what I crave. I juice a lot now too. My fridge looks like a produce aisle and I love it. I'm proud of you both and keep up the great work because you are beautiful inside and out. You both are inspiring. Bravo!
