I think majority ppl choose skin care products by checking it's fragrance lol, they think products with good fragrance = good product. Like, my mom opt for products with fragrances. So it's a marketing strategy
YES! I’m a Filipina with a natural brown skin but managed to got paler cause if all the Filipino whitening products and I been living here in India for more than 3 years. And I got my natural color back and getting darker actually cause of all the fragrances in the products, like the yellow vaseline lotion that’s not glowing but is fine and lightens my skin back in Philippines but here it’s making me browner even if I don’t go out. I blame the fragrance in it.
It is sooooo disappointing that we dont have a single decent sunscreen available easily here in India ( the imported ones cant be used that liberally without burning ur pocket ) The neutrogena sheer zinc is super tacky and super ghastly !! Waiting anxiously for your sunscreen on nykaa !
Um I think you should start following Indian Skincare youtubers! A lot of them give good underrated sunscreen recommendations that actually do what they say! :)
You should try bello sunscreen or suncros sunscreen, reequil tinted sunscreen(the tint is actually a little dark for me as im in the lighter complexion side... bt it suits most Indian complexion) and indian skincare youtubers suggested them as they're fragrance free...
We do have many descent sunscreens if you use chemical sunscreens too. Earth rhythm,uv doux,re'quill,blynds,rustic art, regaliz - truederma,solasafe, acne uv gel, la shield..etc.

Hey, there's re'equil sheer zinc tinted sunscreen that's nafe safe and mineral also on Nykaa. I have it personally and my only gripe is that it needs more time to wipe the tint off.

Dr. V, my favourite one is the La Shield sunscreen, it has 21% zinc oxide and doesn't leave any white cast and is also quite reasonable compared to the neutrogena.
agree i use that only la shield mineral and its only550 often you get after discount or 520 rupees so too good i buy3 bottle and finisj in a month as one bottle last8 days for me 50gm. as i apply even at home max time but i have glass sliders balcony windows so i apply 2,3 times a day.

Hi Dr.V, just wanted to give you a heads up that there's a tinted zinc oxide sunscreen from Re'equil that's completely physical with zinc as the only filter. I live in India and that's my holy grail. I guess it was sold out when you filmed this but I think it's worth mentioning cause it's really one of the best ones on the Indian market.
Also, Dr.V I already have The ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8%+Alpha Arbutin2% vitamin C and I really donot want to throw it. But my skin type is sensitive and I was using it in day time and got a few dark spots post 2-3 acne. Then I saw your channel and stopped using it. Now i am using niacinamide from The ordinary. Should I use the vitamin C and niacinamide alternate day or should i throw this vitamin c and get other derivatives that u hv recommended in your videos?
I am in love with the knowledge this Doctor has! Its like she said exactly the same thing i would say about every product from start to end. I am a skin care nerd who also researches her ingredients based on the inci decoders and I am dying to search for a perfect mineral zinc oxide + titanium dioxide sunscreen which is of course pa++++ and that is why came across this videos, I'm currently using la shield pa+++ and was thinking of going for Dr. Sheth's mineral vit c + ceramides pa+++ sunscreen and came across this video. Unfortunately all the sunscreens i try even though they say they are matte are super oily and greasy. And fragrance essential oil and alcohol are also a big no no for the exact same reasons she described. I still havent found my perfect sunscreen that I love. Will try to search more videos on this channel for recommendations and hopefully find the one LOL

Yes I'm using Neutrogena one from months...it gave super white cast..but I'm ok with it bcz nothing suits me well as compared to this...in between i tried minimalist spf60,earth rhythm ultra defence.. minimalist gave irritation didn't suit..earth rhythm feel heavy oily sticky...i liked only Neutrogena..I had tried that after watching ur vdo..Thanks a lot doctor:')

I’m not sure if I’m using enough of my niacinimide, alpha arbutin, ethylated ascorbic acid in the a.m. (morning) & mandelic acid, alpha arbutin, azelaic acid, ethylated ascorbic acid (evening).

Hi Dr.V, thank you the video. I can say I have tried all these sunscreens in the past when I lived in India. Now I use Avene Emulsion 50spf as it was recommended by dermatologist. It’s a little greasy though and gives a white cast. I’m looking forward to Inzincable 😃 hope it will be available in Dubai at a reasonable price. ✌🏻

Because you want perfect skin and our ancestors had pathetic skin. They didn't cared about even acne or pigmentation on their face. Or maybe they were exceptional, my brother don't use anything on face not even facewash but he has glass like skin even when he spends 5-8 hrs in sunlight (in stadium)
No doubt everybody has a different skin type, some of a lot of things and still have issues with skin and some do nothing and still be spotless. It's not in our hands. Coming to why sunscreen is important when our elders never used it back then...it's because of ozone depletion which is causing UV rays to penetrate the earth...which surprisingly wasn't the issue back in old days.

That cetaphil sunscreen on nykaa will sting your eyes even if you try to avoid it around your eyes and the alcohol smell is too strong. Not recommended

Frr.. at this point I would just apply straight up vasseline and spray my desired fragrance on top🥴😭.. cause they be smelling bad too

I use Neutrogena sheer zinc ( thanks for suggestion), n it does leave white cast , I use make up to tone it down , eagerly waiting for inzincable launch.
Hi Dr.V, just wanted to give you a heads up that there's a tinted zinc oxide sunscreen from Re'equil that's completely physical with zinc as the only filter. I live in India and that's my holy grail. I guess it was sold out when you filmed this but I think it's worth mentioning cause it's really one of the best ones on the Indian market.

Also, Dr.V I already have The ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8%+Alpha Arbutin2% vitamin C and I really donot want to throw it. But my skin type is sensitive and I was using it in day time and got a few dark spots post 2-3 acne. Then I saw your channel and stopped using it. Now i am using niacinamide from The ordinary. Should I use the vitamin C and niacinamide alternate day or should i throw this vitamin c and get other derivatives that u hv recommended in your videos?
I am in love with the knowledge this Doctor has! Its like she said exactly the same thing i would say about every product from start to end. I am a skin care nerd who also researches her ingredients based on the inci decoders and I am dying to search for a perfect mineral zinc oxide + titanium dioxide sunscreen which is of course pa++++ and that is why came across this videos, I'm currently using la shield pa+++ and was thinking of going for Dr. Sheth's mineral vit c + ceramides pa+++ sunscreen and came across this video. Unfortunately all the sunscreens i try even though they say they are matte are super oily and greasy. And fragrance essential oil and alcohol are also a big no no for the exact same reasons she described. I still havent found my perfect sunscreen that I love. Will try to search more videos on this channel for recommendations and hopefully find the one LOL

@@vishalmishra6313 once u start applying Dr sheth's vit c + ceramides sunscreen you will fall in love with sunscreen.. it's the only Sunscreen i have fallen in love with.. i literally take it to office and show to others how amazing it is and the next day they will purchase it.. try it you won't regret it .

Yes I'm using Neutrogena one from months...it gave super white cast..but I'm ok with it bcz nothing suits me well as compared to this...in between i tried minimalist spf60,earth rhythm ultra defence.. minimalist gave irritation didn't suit..earth rhythm feel heavy oily sticky...i liked only Neutrogena..I had tried that after watching ur vdo..Thanks a lot doctor:')

Hi Dr.V, thank you the video. I can say I have tried all these sunscreens in the past when I lived in India. Now I use Avene Emulsion 50spf as it was recommended by dermatologist. It’s a little greasy though and gives a white cast. I’m looking forward to Inzincable 😃 hope it will be available in Dubai at a reasonable price. ✌🏻

Because you want perfect skin and our ancestors had pathetic skin.
They didn't cared about even acne or pigmentation on their face.
Or maybe they were exceptional, my brother don't use anything on face not even facewash but he has glass like skin even when he spends 5-8 hrs in sunlight (in stadium)
No doubt everybody has a different skin type, some of a lot of things and still have issues with skin and some do nothing and still be spotless. It's not in our hands.
Coming to why sunscreen is important when our elders never used it back then...it's because of ozone depletion which is causing UV rays to penetrate the earth...which surprisingly wasn't the issue back in old days.

Dr, how about heliocare and cetaphil sunscreens ?
That cetaphil sunscreen on nykaa will sting your eyes even if you try to avoid it around your eyes and the alcohol smell is too strong. Not recommended

Wait..isn't Reequil ultra matte dry touch sunscreen a "hybrid" sunscreen cause it contains physical filters of zinc oxide and titanium oxide and chemical filters of octinoxate....why did she say it's a "chemical sunscreen" when the ingredients of the product clearly shows it's a hybrid sunscreen🤷♀️
