  • How to create handy asset packs out of your creations in Affinity Publisher, Photo or Designer. This is not how to make the actual assets but how to create the asset packs. I may make videos on how I make things like vector artworks and assets in Affinity.
If you would like to purchase these assets. Leave a comment and I will upload them somewhere.

Will assets slow the program down? Where are assets saved? Does it make a copy of the image and save it somewhere? Thanks for the tutorial.

Good questions! As far as I can see, the assets do not effect performance since they are not actually open in the application (imo it might improve performance overall since you would not be opening large files to open clipart, textures etc).
It appears to create a library file called assets.propcol in the c: user folders: user / (username) / .affinity / common / 2.0 / user - Although you cannot use that library file except in Affinity.
My assets file is about 1.9GB so it appears to make a copy in that directory and I would imagine the paper textures I also have would be large files whereas my clipart in the video are not large.
      Hope this helps!
