Here’s what is different - 4 main points -
Change the design of the tent structure which is same as Scaena tent as it provides more space.
2. Removed the top vent and moved it to the door area.
3. Add 3D interior pockets at the top of inside which the old version didn’t have.
4. Improved water resistance to 2000mm, which can be used in heavy rain.
I am excited to get this out to test and to see how much of an impact that the changes that the company has made will make in real world use.
Is this tent going to be waterproof? I certainly hope so but I’ll be honest, I’m a bit worried about it.
I’m going to test this tent out and every step of the way, I’m going to bring you all with me. If there is a problem, I will tell you about it and not only that, I’ll show it to you.
By the way, there are two reviews on the OneTigris web site for this tent but they are from early 2022 and aren’t for this new model as it wasn’t available at that time.

The poles coming out is not an issue at all for me.

After watching your video on the 1.0 I decided to hold off on getting the Cosmitto, and man am I glad I did. After watching this video I bit the bullet and got the 2.0 from Amazon. (Got the ungraded version for 140) Set it up for the first time next to a lake on a windy day in southern NV. The fly does a very good job of keeping the wind out. All in all seems like a good tent. Keep it up. Now if I'm looking at getting something, I look through to see if you have done a video on it. Awesome job, THANK YOU.

I ordered this on a whim after seeing it and had it out when we got ~3 in. of rain over 48 hours in California. Dry as a bone for me. Happy with my purchase.
Master Luke. I do like the way this tent looks. When you say that this tent is worth the money and is safe, I’ll go order one,because I do like the way it looks, and to me, it sounds reasonably priced. I’ve been looking for a good new tent, and watching your videos is helping me to decide. I do like this one,but also looking at the bakers tent also. Keep up the great videos little brother.

So far sounds like a pretty good tent just have to wait and see if it leaks or not if it does not like you said they have a good tent and then they will have something to be proud of especially if you call them and tell them it’s a good product can’t wait to see the test on it I love to hear the rain anyway thanks for the video and I will catch you on the next one

Just thought I’d mention that I ordered one of the 2.0 versions of this tent three weeks ago. Today’s date, 11/11/23. It looked the goods. Just like this one here in the review, only both outter door zips were missing the two way zip😑
So the ventilation post at the top of the door was rendered useless. Had to return it via Amazon US. I’m here in Australia. Seems pretty wild that they’d be selling a tent with such an obvious factory error. I’ll still try and order another and hope for the best as it does seem like a really nice tent. Damn shame.

Dang! I just got the older version of this tent a week ago, lol! Well, I planned on doing some seam-sealing of the vents to see if I could stop any of the leaking Luke mentioned before, so I guess I'll still do that, and if that doesn't work, I'll be putting up a tarp over it when I camp. Not like I am a storm-camper like Luke is, anyway. I still wish I had held out, but I really like the overall look and features of the Cosmitto, regardless...
I have wanted a onetigris cosmitto sence I discovered them through your channel but did not buy one after yours leaked..the cosmitto 2.0 must work out !!

Very nice tent and good price
During a elk hunt, I saw a nice tent for inclement weather, Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas. Not a backpacking tent but a 100% American made, very tough high use tent for serious use. I believe worth checking out.
Looks like great design to me and excellent weight for the space, only relative weakness is the 2000 mm water column.

It reminds me a lot of my Marmot Tungsten 2 tent, which is a very very good tent that my wife and I got years ago for $200.
Dunno if you ever saw my comment on the original cosmitto leak test video, but with mine I found that around the vents was not seam sealed. I sealed that area and first trip out in pouring rain it held up perfect with no water inside. New one looks good and is light, the vent design is interesting as well

What all one Tigris gear do you have? I've been really interested in the Solo homestead tent.
I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on it.
This looks better! The stormflap/vent 'swoop' of fabric may also help ward off windswept moisture. Separating the body from the fly by allowing airflow should help condensation.

I would REALLY like to see a test of the Klymit Cross Canyon 2 person. It's sold through Costco, at a ridiculously low price (sub $100). I've been debating between it and a Teton Sports tent for a motocamping trip this summer

I was looking at Cosmitto 2.0 at 2am this morning lol and watched your 1.0 review. A few hours later and WHAM, you've previewed it! I've been looking for something around the $150 price class to replace an old Big Agnes 3-man tent that got pancaked in a severe thunderstorm. Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the grey updated one-- I don't think the listings for the Coyote tent are for the 2.0 version(yet).
If I made camping gear I would watch your channel and be nervous until I get a good review from you, but I would test randomly off my production line & any failures would make some employees nervous

Luke love your channel amazing reviews if you ever get the chance you have to get your hands on some RBM tents ther like pop up 4 season mini camps soo many uses for them all in one tents the only drawbacks i can see to them are they heavy but good for fourwhellers trucks and snowmobile camping you and the viewers would love them
Have you done a review on the Alps Lynx 2? I've had one for several years and it has straight up impressed me. 8 day kayak trip in Montana, several hiking/camping/boat camping trips, and 2022 Missouri River Rendezvous (kayak trip) where we were treated to hail and high winds one night. I have video from during the storm. Several tents blew flat. Pretty much all REI tents failed. Most dome designs did well but my old Lynx 2 held fast with no leaks.
I like this tent, I think it will be my next tent. When I decide to upgrade I think I it will be the Cosmitto, if it passes your tests.
I like the vent design. I'm a big fan of being able to open and close a vent from inside the tent. It'll be interesting to see how well this one performs.
Oh, and Luke and his first world problems: "I have so many tents from the same manufacturers that I can't keep track of which is which. I'm gonna have to actually label the storage bag, what a pain. The manufacturer should do that for me."
You should design a tent yourself. You have so much knowledge about them. I don't camp or backpack myself but I just love watching your channel.
