cheers mate - noticed on TOGR he had epic failures in terms of leaks ... did you have the same or is there a way to tell the version of this tent in case it was a bad batch? ua-cam.com/video/ypRcOv4tSRo/v-deo.html
i know im asking randomly but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Quentin Kian instablaster ;)
@Hendrix Roger i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm.
Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
If only that thing pitched together, that inner pitch first always puts me off a tent.. otherwise it looks a cracking tent mate 🤘
Good looking tent, same as yourself would be better if it was outer pitch first. Also would like to see less mesh to make it more a 3/4 season tent
Good on ya for blagging a freebie from one tigris.
Cos that aint worth £119, cheaper lighter MSR knock offs are available, i e Naturehike.
I do like the colour, good neutral colour for stealth.
naturehike lacks a few of the nice xtras that tigris put in , the shelves / pockets for one.. ( just got the naturehike cloud-up ;) )
also naturehike's doesn't have 2 entrances... this is more like one of marmots tents..
i'd love to have this one , instead of my naturehike one :)
It's like a 6 pint lass when you're out on the pull, nice from afar, but far from nice.
1500hh is argos territory, will those small vents cope with all that mesh for condensation? Those pockets while large if filled will droop and spill out. Not one of One Tigris better efforts I feel.
👍
Looks good but definatly a summer tent 1500 HH can't see it lasting Scotland weather for long?
Tidy looking tent is that,I love the coyote brown colour,I wish some other tent manufacturers would use the same or at least similar..no doubt all the gram pinching, toothbrush cutting ultralight brigade & those with deep pockets with several 'spare' Hilleberg tents tucked away will shoot the tent down & those that decide to own one too but nevermind they love to think they are better than everyone else, gear snobs lol..t'internet is full of them 😏
Cheers Stuart, not a bad bit of kit. Shame it’s 1500HH compared to my Phoxx2 5000HH .Appreciate the review.
Phoxx 2 is a good tent.
Looks ok but they should have gone for 3000-5000HH, I am not sure it will sell well in the UK with our weather..
Hi mate I have used this tent camping in the rain heavy rain about 3 times now and the tent was fine ATB Stuart
Love the sound of rain on a tent, nice tent .Sprig summer and my be autumn. Great to see you out again.
MSR Elixir or Hubba copy? Very similar in design.
Looks like the msr tents mate
I really like the look of the tent, looking through the comments I see quite a few people saying the 1500mm hydrostatic head of the tent wouldn't fare well here in the UK? Just thinking about the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL1 or UL2 tents which are probably the most popular backpacking tents in the whole world & they only have a HH of 1200mm,so could someone please let me know why this tent shouldn't perform at least as good as the Copper Spur for what is only 1/3 the cost? I know it's almost twice as heavy as the Big Agnes tent which also comes with DAC poles but surely a tent with a 1500mm HH would withstand a day & night of rain or would it not? Perhaps those in the know could enlighten me? 😁
I'd look for 3000mm for UK, unless it is for a guaranteed high summer dry spell only. Kind regards.
What does stealth camping mean? I think it may mean something different in the UK than it does here in the States.
It just means camping in secret without being seen
Same term applies across the pond. Primary difference is that whereas in the US this typically implies urban areas, in the UK much of the land is privately owned (including the Crown). Here stealth camping often means jumping over a hedge at dusk, and leaving before daybreak, leaving no trace.
I love one tigris, for my budget. I have 2 of these and 2 other styles. Pls 1 Tigris label tents.😊
Thanks for the review! Hello from the USA!! Love the content. Keep making videos - enjoying them!
Thanks Greg
Colour, size, shape all good but why do manufacturers think inner first pitch is so good?....warmer climates I guess.
Other than that looks good.
Yep I was thinking the same thing. Fly first isn’t ideal in our weather! Love the discrete colour and large vestibule 👍🏻
Do u mean inner first. Fly first is great for British weather coz keeps the inner dry while pitching in rain
@@lewisjones7153 sorry yes I meant inner first! Oops!
Inner first would make this a much better tent I think
Fly sheet first they'd sell a lot more.
Also all tent brands should do a vango style tent bag.
I bought this tent and had it out in some pretty persistent rain. It leaked where the vents are, where that little vent holder meets the tent…. Dripped through there after a few hours. Nothing a bit of silicon sealer won’t fix though, other than that, it’s a V good tent
if u say look once more after im looking im gonna unsub u m8..u said it 97 times ffs
Ok thanks for letting me know about that
inner first not good.
Testing in the pushing rain, defo the way to go stu, let’s face it everybody’s nightmare is getting a flooded tent 🏕,looks good 😀
Hi fella, sorry but we gotta fight for our Freedom, i am not far from u 50 yr old and the state is threatening me with 5yrs for 2 pen knives in a fishing kit in my car that was Unlawfully searched, pls mention Common Law or maybe you wont be ALLOWED to go out with TOOLS or whatever.....PLEASE man up and use ur platform for us all, aye pal.
Thanks mate
I've time travelled back 20 years to my North Face Roadrunner 2. They are uncannily similar. The higher HH of the Roadrunner is offset by sketchy seam sealing (or lack thereof).
That said, I'm a sucker for Coyote Brown, and this is not a bad bang for buck ratio 👍🏻
Good to see you out again Stuart keep up the great video's
Thanks mate
@@ScottishWanderer thanks stuart I love watching your video's as you give good advice are you planning any trips to arran once we can travel in our own north Ayrshire
Good video Stuart. Really enjoyed watching. Thanks Steve 👍
On Amazon it says there’s a footprint included is this correct? And what about price? Also is 1500hh enough as it seems very low for a polyester fly? Thanks 🙏

I did not get a footprint with mine mate
@@stormdog6197 I carry a full tang 4inch mora, hand axe. Both concealed at the base of my backpack- impossible to access without removing everything else. So if stopped-
I am camping/bushcrating. Which I can evidence
The location these are stored means that I cannot possibly use these to defend myself or in anger.
Better buy a 7x14m shed to keep all this camping gear in.
Lol 👍
Certainly some nice features with the mesh inner and double doors etc. Would be good to test it out in the field overnight and see if you stay dry!
Like the idea of the vents on the top bro, what is the water resistant rating on it. All the best
Looks like a nice tent Stuart. Would be nice for summer. Thanks for the video and review! 👍🏕
Finally back out 💪🏻
Very nice thanks
The over use of branding apart , that’s a good looking tent. Would be a bit worried if you got any condensation with all that mesh. Be like a shower. Impressive though, msr must be calling their lawyers. Lol
Naturehike have already copied 90% of MSR. I'm still loving my cloud up 2 after 2 years use.
Cloud up are great tents mate I have the naturehike cloud up 1
Top man Stu.. good looking tent and great to see you out and about again..👍👍👍
Nice video stu
All the very best stay safe 🏴🏴🏴🏴👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks James
Looks a good wee summer tent , good to see you back making some vids 👍
Stuart is there anywhere to wild camp in our local town please let me know thanks
Yes you can camp on the beach I have done a couple of camps on the beach
Nice to see you back out, brief as it was.As you said not a bad wee spring summer tent.Quite spacious and a good size porch .I do like the double doors idea, very handy for for those sunny days which we may soon be able to enjoy again.ATB
Should be back out camping soon mate
Great video mate👍 can’t wait until 12th April 🤗 out and about again
Can't wait my self not been out camping from November
Looks like a Eureka Midori knockoff.
Good video nice tent thanks
Hi Stuart, well that was a good rain test, I really liked it good design. Atb Will.
Thanks Wii
How much was it Stuart
I got sent the tent
Cool tent pity about the rain 🌧
Wow that is awesome camping! Very nice video, really enjoyed watching it! Regards from Russian winter camping! Yury!
Good to see you back out Stuart. Too heavy for me, but I'd take that to the Deid Squirrel in Glencoe for the weekend. 🏕
Mate as long as its bone dry that's all u need, loved the tent
Your right
Very enjoyable stay safe

Anyone thinking of buying one,it's currently on sale in the Amazon Prime day sales for £106.38 inc delivery..so be quick!!
Awesome Andy
@@ScottishWanderer I've actually got two of these tents now Stuart, was up in the Galloway Forest last two days in one of them,I really like the tent 🤗
been looking at that, looks good
Hi Colin how's things can't wait to get back out camping been climbing the walls not been out camping from November 👍
@@ScottishWanderer Not long now Stu, 2nd of April we can go in own council area👍🏕
Do you know the dimensions of the bathtub floor ? I was looking on their website and I’ve looked online, but I can’t find how much actual living room there is anywhere. Like I said, I can see how big the actual tent is. I just can’t find out how much space in actually inside the mesh.
I have a top gear just like it. works great in the rain.
Yes
reminder when you test the lenght of the inner you need to put airmatress ie and the sleeping bag the fooot box would touch the inner tent and poke out the fly so it not great for people over 6 feet
Was wondering if they offer an Autumn/Winter inner.
Not that I know about mate
@@ScottishWanderer shame. Maybe recommend that to the company. It would be a good extra investment.
nice 1 mate
Thanks Stuart for the upload, especially in such crappy weather, much appreciated 👍 Regarding the tent, from my point of view with the inner pitching first it’s not worth a second glance let alone a second look. For tents here in the U.K. with our weather, even in the summer! they just have to pitch fly sheets first, imho of course and 60yrs experience 😂 without doubt the top tent in Europe has got to be a hilleberg, that is of course if you can get a second mortgage 👍 take care and once again many thanks, regards Clive in deepest Dorset
Sorry but what do you mean inner pitch? What makes this not good?
I don't like inner first tents much my self mate if this tent was outer first it would be a better tent I think
@@LegionTacticoolCutlery Hi Gruggs, the issue with tents where you have to put up the inner tent first is if it’s pouring with rain it goes without saying the part of the tent where you sleep will get wet, not such a good idea! Stuart was lucky in the video that it was only raining a little! He will probably disagree 🤣 Tents of this design are fine in places where the weather is generally fine but here in the U.K. where you can have all 4 season in a day, definitely not a good choice........imho of course😂 take care, regards from deepest Dorset 👍
What?? Tiger?! In Africa?!
Don't know
LOVE the color and the design . HATE the weight though . Nice review .
It's great you got a free tent but I wouldnt be trusting 1500hh personally, good sun shelter though
Nice video. Love your accent.
Thank you
Are the poles fibra glass ?
Aluminium mate
Great tent review. I like the ventilation system. I thought is was a hex shaped footprint.
I love the color for sure
Nice colour blends in mate
So it appears that leak g and condensation aren’t an issue😳👍🏼
Thanks Bonny lad
👍
Any thoughts on new sea to summit tents, Alto and Teleos?
Hilleberg has everybody beat when setting up a tent in foul weather - the system they use where the fly goes up and takes the tent with it is genius.
Yes hilleberg are good tents I had a soulo sold mine but

As far as I am aware, in the U.K a penknife is perfectly legal, fishing or no fishing. In your context, in a fishing box, no problem at all. I am sure they are just winding you up. Kind regards.
I think at 2.5 kg it’s not really a backpacking tent ⛺️?
2.5kg is a little heavy for a backpacking tent but that's what onetigris are calling it a backpacking tent thanks for watching
Nice review thanks. By the way what hiking pants are those
karrimor ones mate
nice looking tent but i think maybe i have too many as it is lol
Lol
🤠👍⛺️Good!
thanks for braving the rain..... cheers!
👍
nice setup video. gives me a honest look at this tent. thank dude.
Hi mate I have used the tent about 4 or 5 camping trips now I still love this tent
@@ScottishWanderer I have enough tents for now. The kit junkie wants the one tigris tent but it isn't on my priority list. The rode wireless microphone is my priority buy. Which I will get after my financially responsibilities are completed .
The banshee 300 will be coming out for the winter . Plus I wanted to test the winter inner for the Lanshan 2. And my snugpak tactical 3 sleeping bag. Couldn't do that due to lock down.
But I still like researching tents and other kit . But only a few you tubers like yourself give honest reviews.
Thanx buddy keep the videos coming. When I have the time I will watch more of your videos. When I can between work. Editing and going out and personal commitments.
How many tents have you need to no lol
Lol
Thanks for the vid. Good content, one tigris seem to be the new kids on the block. And doing good tents. So I bit the bullet and got the back bush bungalow how does this tent compare? Thanks in advance j
Backwoods bungalow 2.0
Backwoods bungalow is a great tent for the woods I took my out and camped on a beach one time best for the woods I think
@@ScottishWandererthanks for that mate can't wait to get my one out covid restrictions are killing us over here thanks for the response love your channel keep it up young man rgds.j
Glad I said no to this tent .

Why?
We're them poles aluminium or fiberglass?
Aluminium mate
You love trash bag fabric quality tents🤓
